Spotting a wild rhino is something most only dream of, poaching and habitat loss has devastated population numbers over the years meaning an encounter with these magnificent creatures is a rare occurrence.
Working alongside Care for Wild, the World’s largest rhino orphanage and a globally recognised conservation organisation with decades of experience, we have curated a truly unique experience giving a privileged few behind-thescenes access to this otherwise incredibly private sanctuary.
Following a thrilling helicopter ride over the game-rich Kruger National Park and the immense Drakensberg Mountain range, you will be dropped into the 28,000-hectares of protected wilderness that is Care for Wild.
Met by your private guide who will accompany you throughout your stay, you will partake in oncein-a-lifetime experiences such as the recovery of baby orphaned rhinos, hand feeding hungry teenagers and intimate one-on-one meetings with fully grown adults.
Go behind the scenes of the sophisticated security operation, meet the K9 and horse units tasked with patrolling the expansive reserve and meet the team in charge of surveillance. Enjoy private game drives and bush walks across the expansive reserve, home to a wide variety of wildlife cared for at the sanctuary and much more.
A $500 per person donation to Care for Wild is built into the cost of the experience so, through your visit, you are making a huge difference to the conservation of rhino in South Africa.
