By the time the 21st annual Double Decker Arts Festival, sponsored by Caterpillar, really gets going, the weather should be ideal. Thunderstorms that were predicted for
today were expected to be out as the first day of the festival got going on Friday. By Saturday, the forecast was mostly sunny with a high of 76 degrees. Chance of rain was 10 percent and the humidity was just 55 percent. In a nutshell, the perfect
forecast for an outside event that attracts up to 65,000 people. Weather has always been a focal point of the festival. Three weeks out, Jimmy Allgood is watching for intense storms just in case a plan needs to be put together for those in attendance. Good
