Our value of Care teaches us to help and support others as well as displaying high levels of trust and empathy. We have therefore established the Penguin CARE program to look after the wellbeing of all Jotun employees.
At times we need the space to recharge, time out or briefly tend to personal matters even though we are at work. This is why Jotun premises have multipurpose rooms suited to provide opportunities for rest, prayer, privacy, etc.
Jotun provides reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities. This includes, but is not limited to, flexible scheduling, remote work options, and access to assistive technologies.
Jotun offers employees and their family members assistance in resolving personal problems to live healthy, fulfilling lives. Our Employee Assistance Program provides employees with free, anonymous, and easy access to coaches, counsellors, and advisors covering broad range of issues.
We offer increased flexibility to employees going through challenging times. Loyalty is one of our core values, and we build long term relationships with our employees. Life can be tough at times and we have supported many employees through life changing events.
We understand how important it is to be able to be there when your family needs you the most. All Jotun employees have available fully paid caregiver days to support sick, ageing, or unwell family members.
Extended fully paid parental leave is provided in countries where local regulations offer limited leave. We also provide lactation facilities, flexibility and support shorter working hours during a child’s first 12 months.
