After making leashes to take to Bali in 1972, we used our ideas to establish BALIN, a business making accessories and surfboards.

Improvements to leashes came quickly and surf shops around Australia began to recognise BALIN as leaders and innovators specialising in the design of leashes, board bags and deck grips. In fact our Original Design Patent on the polyurethane moulding technology won an Australian Design Award and our products established export markets in the USA, Japan and Europe.

We now specify the same high quality materials with our source factories and can supply the exact same products to our precise specifications throughout the world. Be assured - we back our products against faulty materials and workmanship. No questions asked.

Our moulding technology is unique to Balin. There are no ‘slots‘ in our moulds. This means we can achieve a higher ratio of bonded surface area to weight, therefore the leash is stronger and lighter.

CH OSE the right board cover

We have a large selection of styles and sizes, if you work out your needs then we will have a cover to suit you. Most Retail Stores can not carry our whole range but they can order in for you. Allow 6-5 working days.

SINGLES / DAY USE All-round, Roof Rack, back of the Car or Ute.

• IE: Start with your longest Mini Mal or Longboard then add other short boards.

UTE: Basic, no frills but they are light weight AND durable.

• This means these covers have lots of room for “stuff”.

TOUR: Gear Pocket for Wetsuit towell etc, Plush lined, Vents, Poly Canvas Top.

COFFIN WHEELER: Up to 4 Boards.

•W heels are placed on the Flat Bottom side for proper stability.

EXPORT: Gear Pocket for Wetsuit towell etc, Plush lined, Vents, Poly Canvas top and bottom. 10mm Padding, great for traveling / aircraft.

• Broader Template.

• More Room for “stuff”.

SIZES: The SIZE tag, on the side indicates the BOARD SIZE. You can get an extra Inch in sometimes, however a 6’8” board won’t fit in a 6’6” cover.

TIP: If you want more room in the Multi Bulky cover; Go longer… There is no problem with some extra room.
