SUNDAY 2 p.m. on KTUL Family Skating Tribute Many fans undoubtedly will be pleased to see Scott Hamilton back on the rink as he joins other ice skaters in this new special hosted by two of his peers, Kristi Yamaguchi and Michael Weiss. Nancy Kerrigan, Paul Wylie, Kurt Browning, Todd Eldredge, Sinead Kerr-Marshall & John Kerr, and Silvia Fontana & John Zimmerman also are featured — all of them performing with their children, thus giving the show its “family” aspect. Country music’s Dan & Shay also appear. 6 p.m. on KOKI Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas This holiday special, based on the “Ice Age” films, finds the arctic herd busily decorating for the holidays. In his rush to help, Sid destroys Manny’s favorite decorations. Manny is so upset that he convinces Sid he is now on Santa’s naughty list. Joined by Crash, Eddie and Peaches, Sid takes off for the North Pole to plead his case to Santa. Meanwhile, Manny, Ellie and Diego race to find Peaches. Ray Romano and John Leguizamo lead the voice cast. 7 p.m. on HALL Movie: Journey Back to Christmas Think of it as a kind of timeswitched “Outlander” if it helps in this new holiday fantasy that stars Candace Cameron Bure (“Fuller House”) as a nurse in World War II who is hurtled forward in time to 2016. There, she meets a man (Oliver Hudson, “Scream Queens”) who helps her realize the importance of family connections, as well as the timeless and true meaning of Christmas.

MONDAY 7 p.m. on KTUL CMA Country Christmas For the seventh year, Grammy winner Jennifer Nettles — who

recently released the seasonal album “To Celebrate Christmas” — hosts this countryflavored Yuletide music fest, recorded at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House. Idina Menzel and Andra Day, who perform numbers with Nettles on the album, are among the guests. So are Brad Paisley, Kelly Clarkson, Rascal Flatts, Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Brett Eldredge and the iconic Loretta Lynn. 7 p.m. on FOOD Christmas Cookie Challenge Alison Sweeney hosts this new special, in which five confident and courageous bakers compete to prove their holiday cookie-making skills. Their efforts ultimately are evaluated by judges Duff Goldman, Damaris Phillips and Sherry Yard, who award the $10,000 grand prize and crown the holiday cookie master. 8:01 p.m. on KOKI Lucifer Trying everything in her power to convince Lucifer (Tom Ellis) to abandon Earth, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) drives a wedge between him and Chloe (Lauren German) in the new episode “Quid Pro Ho.” The loyalty Amenadiel (DB Woodside) shows in assisting Charlotte becomes a concern for Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Rebecca De Mornay (“Risky Business”) reprises her guest role. Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris and Aimee Garcia also star.

TUESDAY 8 p.m. on HGTV Fixer Upper Spouses Chip and Joanna Gaines bring a personal touch to their hit home renovation series, which opens a fourth season tonight that follows the couple as they make over entire Texas neighborhoods. That’s because fans get to see plenty of the real family life that surrounds the on-the-job scenes, as Joanna and Chip parent their four kids and run a 40-acre farm teeming with cows, horses, goats and chickens. This new season also will find the couple revisiting their early buying-and-flipping days. 9 p.m. on KOTV Bull The popularity of certain truecrime podcasts informs “Unambiguous,” as the host of such a program (guest star Sarah Steele, “The Good Wife”) factors into Bull’s (Michael Weatherly) work on the trial of a woman accused of killing a popular athlete she claimed had assaulted her. Benny (Freddy Rodriguez) is reunited with his ex-girlfriend (guest star Tiffany Villarin), another lawyer

he hasn’t seen since they split. Joe Grifasi guest stars as the judge. 9 p.m. on A&E Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath The former “King of Queens” actress has been an outspoken opponent of the New Age religion to which she once belonged, and in this new eight-episode unscripted series, she explains why, sharing stories of abuse, heartbreak and harassment experienced by people like her who have left the Church of Scientology and gone public with their experience. The series also includes comments from former church executives and other ex-members.

WEDNESDAY 7 p.m. on KJRH Christmas in Rockefeller Center The holiday season definitely has arrived when this annual special airs again, introducing the site’s Christmas tree in the heart of Manhattan. The 84th annual event culminates with the illumination of the lights — more than 50,000 of them — on a Norway spruce from Oneonta, N.Y. As usual, a variety of performances will precede that moment ... with Tony Bennett, Neil Diamond and Dolly Parton among the headliners. Members of the weekday “Today” team host. 8 p.m. on KJRH Movie: Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love A sequel to last year’s high-rated “Coat of Many Colors,” this new drama movie continues the saga inspired by a song by Parton, who’s an executive producer here. Jennifer Nettles, Rick Schroder and (as the young Dolly) Alyvia Alyn Lind all return as the members of the rural Tennessee family who face new challenges, including a holiday blizzard and the patriarch’s financial struggles to give his wife a proper wedding ring. Co-star Gerald McRaney also is back.

8 p.m. on KOKI Empire Phylicia Rashad (“The Cosby Show”) guest stars as Angelo’s (guest star Taye Diggs) mother, an intended dinnerparty guest, in the new episode “What We May Be.” The upcoming occasion prompts Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) to seek planning advice from Candace (guest star Vivica A. Fox). Cookie gets other concerns, though, when old videos reveal things she didn’t want her children to know about her relationship with her father. Terrence Howard also stars. 8 p.m. on HIST Vikings The historical epic drama returns with new episodes in its mid-season premiere, “The Outsider,” which picks up the action pretty much where it left off, as Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) returns after a long absence to Kattegat. He has come back partly to see how his sons are faring, but more to settle a grievous old score with treacherous King Ecbert (Linus Roache) in Wessex. Meanwhile, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) plots a power play. Alexander Ludwig and Gustaf Skarsgard also star.

THURSDAY 7 p.m. on KTUL A Charlie Brown Christmas The animated classic begins its next half-century, having marked its 50th anniversary last year. When Charlie Brown complains about the materialism he sees during the holidays, Lucy suggests he direct the Christmas pageant. He accepts, but it proves to be a frustrating struggle. When his attempt to restore the proper spirit with a forlorn little fir tree fails, he needs Linus’ help to learn the real meaning of Christmas. The memorable music score is by Vince Guaraldi. 7:59 p.m. on KOKI Pitch Sports headlines involve Mike (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) in the new episode “Scratched,” as some suspect his time as a Padre may not continue much longer, due to his possibly giving up the no-trade clause in his contract. Amelia (Ali Larter) worries what a business deal between Evelyn and Will (Meagan Holder, guest star BJ Britt) may mean for Ginny (Kylie Bunbury). Kevin Connolly (“Entourage”), Tyler Hilton (“One Tree Hill”) and Sarah Shahi also guest star.

8 p.m. on KTUL The Great American Baking Show Known as “The Great Holiday Baking Show” when it first aired last year, this competition returns for another limited run. Mary Berry, a huge star in England thanks to the original version of the program — “The Great British Bake Off” — is back as a judge, along with Johnny Iuzzini, to gauge the efforts of contenders vying to be named America’s Best Amateur Baker when all is said and baked. Spouses Nia Vardalos and Ian Gomez also return as hosts.

FRIDAY 9 p.m. on CMTV CMT Crossroads Award-winning singer/songwriter and producer Alicia Keys (“The Voice”) performs with newcomer Maren Morris, a Nashville singer/songwriter who has taken the country world by storm in this new episode, which was taped in Nashville. With 15 Grammy Awards, Keys certainly needs no introduction at this point, but the 26-year-old Morris already has reached breakout status, thanks to her vocal stylings that reflect influences from the soul, pop and country genres. 9 p.m. on SYFY Van Helsing In the new episode “He’s Coming,” Vanessa and Mohamad (Kelly Overton, Trezzo Mahoro) are drawn into a potentially deadly game of cat-and-mouse against Sam (Christopher Heyerdahl) while they head to a vampire-controlled camp. Elsewhere, Julius (Aleks Paunovic) meets secretly with Dmitri (Paul Johansson), while Sheema (Naika Toussaint) discovers a secret that could bring down a cell of the Resistance. 1:37 a.m. on KOTV I Love Lucy Christmas Special A tradition of recent holiday seasons is maintained, as a colorized yuletide tale from the classic sitcom is paired with another episode that’s had color newly added to it — this

7 p.m. on KJRH Movie: It’s a Wonderful Life Small-town guy George Bailey (James Stewart) defers one big dream after another to stay home, marry a local girl (Donna Reed) and run the family business. Facing financial ruin, he’s pulled from suicidal despair by angel Clarence (Henry Travers), who shows him how terrible the world would have been if he’d never lived. Lionel Barrymore also stars in director Frank Capra’s 1946 classic, which will have its traditional Christmas Eve broadcast as well. 7 p.m. on HALL Movie: A Dream of Christmas Call it “It’s a Not So Wonderful Life,” if you wish, because this new holiday fantasy stars Nikki Deloach (“Awkward”) as an ambitious and unhappily married woman who fantasizes about being single again. She awakes to find her wish granted in spades, because she has everything she ever wanted — except her husband, whom she immediately starts searching for. Andrew Walker (“Against the Wall”) also stars. 7 p.m. on LIFE Movie: Heaven Sent Spouses Billy and Marie (Christian Kane, “The Librarians,” and Marley Shelton) are staring at a bleak Christmas as their marriage seems to be teetering on the brink of collapse. A glimmer of hope arrives, however, in the person of an 8-year-old runaway angel (Mallory James Mahoney) who takes it upon herself to do whatever it takes to reawaken their love for each other. Ernie Hudson and Ryan McPartlin also star in this new 2016 fantasy.
