2001: a space odyssey On the Model Making for Animation diploma course at the National Film and Television School, we recreated the final scene from 2001: a space odyssey as a 1:6 scale replica set.

Skills used; Carpentry, laser cutting, 3D printing, steam forming, plaster dragging of detail mouldings and rails, silicone moulding, resin casting, sculpting, painting and finishing.

London Zoo Giraffe House

‘Drums’ Grad Film ‘22/’23 Director: Rich Farris Production Designer: Nivitha Muralikrishna

I was one of the Lead Model Makers on the MA Directing Animation stop-motion Grad Film ‘Drums’. This involved the fabrication of multiple architectural sets and miniature props including two hero prop drum kits.

Skills used; Carpentry, technical drawing, laser cutting, 3D printing, metalwork and soldering, sculpting, painting and finishing.

Operation Dynamo

Historic prop making World War II Binoculars inspired by those used by Commander Bolton in Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk’.
