QUANTITATIVE METHODS IN APPLIED ECONOMICS
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Advanced economic modeling, forecasting, analysis of rapidly incoming data, and econometrics have become the backbone of decisions made in governments, international organizations, and businesses. The Post-
Master’s Certificate in Quantitative Methods in Applied Economics is intended for those who already hold a master’s degree in economics or statistics, and who wish to expand or update their knowledge.
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Students must have a master’s degree in economics or statistics, as well as meet the requirements listed below. Students lacking prerequisite courses can take them with us, on-site or online. Admissions are rolling, offering students the convenience of beginning in Summer, Fall, or Spring semester.
» One semester of master’s level microeconomics, passed with at least a B grade. » One semester of master’s level macroeconomics, passed with at least a B grade.
» A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
