A dual offering of the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the Carey Business School Become an effective leader in today’s biotechnology business environment. Johns Hopkins University offers one of the nation’s first dual degree graduate programs in Biotechnology — preparing students to lead the charge in the laboratory and the boardroom by cultivating a strong mix of science and business skills. Graduates earn two Johns Hopkins degrees through this rigorous, part-time program. It capitalizes on the strengths of leading experts, Johns Hopkins academics, and a diverse student body.

CREDENTIALS AND PREREQUISITES

» Minimum of two years of progressive full-time professional experience after completing undergraduate studies » Undergraduate degree in the life sciences or engineering with at least a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale » TOEFL or IELTS score and course-by-course evaluation for international students » GMAT or GRE suggested (may be waived based on academic and/or professional experience)

The MS in Biotechnology/MBA is a part-time program designed for working adults. Students typically complete both degrees in three years. MS courses are taught fully online or may be taken during evenings and Saturdays at the Rockville, Maryland campus—the heart of the biotechnology industry, as well as at the Baltimore campus. MBA courses are taught at multiple locations: Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC and online during evenings and Saturdays.
