What Issues Are Being Targeted by the Global Citizen Movement?

Defeating Poverty Global Citizen is working with communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America to tackle extreme poverty. This includes helping them to gain access to better health care, stable education, nutritious food and clean water, and supporting communities that have been pushed back into poverty by the coronavirus pandemic.

Defending the Planet The entire world will be impacted by climate change, with the poorest people and communities impacted the most.

These communities and people are the ones who, without support, lack the resources to cope with the changes that the climate crisis will bring. Global Citizen is working to encourage world leaders to make sustainable changes that will reboot climate action.

Demanding Equity for All Inequity is a global problem in each and every country. Whether it is a result of gender, disability, sexual orientation or race, there are people all over the world facing a lack of opportunity.

The entire world will be impacted by climate change, with the poorest people and communities impacted the most. These communities and people are the ones who, without support, lack the resources to cope with the changes that the climate crisis will bring.
