When asked what their favorite part of the night was, they both responded with the time when Josh Meltzer, number 50, scored a touchdown in a running play. Also when asked what they received, Wyatt responded with “ a gift basket from the senior mom ’ s and letters from family members.” Freddie received the same things and also a gift basket from his family. Senior night was a successful and memorable day for all the boys and their families with an outstanding win of 55 0 versus Spanish River.

This season has been a great season for the John Carroll Rams, As they went 8-1 in the regular season. The John Carroll Rams hosted the first round of playoffs at home, where they played Cardinal Mooney. They planned to take them out again as the first time they played The Rams won 26 3, and took the dub again with a score of 38-7. Regarding the road to states, senior Nico Kelly says “This is not going to be an easy road but me and my brothers will win.” GO RAMS!!!

For ustin Shevak said “Media class is ows how media class can assist students with building community with others and becoming more comfortable communicating in public. Not only can this program improve your social ability, JC Live can also be an excellent way to improve your fine arts and journalism skills amongst your peers. The environment during this course is very unique because the team is composed of thirteen hardworking students who are always building each other up and aiding one another One of the hardest working and most productive students said “I’m really happy that media has become a class this year! Carson, Austin and I have worked really hard since sophomore year to make this a reality and it’s been a ton of fun. From putting the newspaper together to filming the morning show, there is never a dull moment in our studio.” (Kate Lewis). This quote shows how much we enjoy and appreciate this new John Carroll media class. This class also allows creativity and the opportunity to make new friends. An example of this is “I am so happy that JC media became a class this year because it gives us a time to work on shows and create new ideas

Voc your life not nec but what each an called to do to liv Recently, Father seminarians gave and their personal testimonies. Learning about vocations can be very important to all of us. One thing that I took from the talk was how in tune we have to be to be able to discern what we want to do in our lives. Access to the sacraments is the number one thing we can do to stay in tune with God and be closer to him. In regards to this, Evan Gernie said “I am glad to have all the sacraments that I am allowed for now because it enables me to develop a good relationship with God”. In the end we all have a path in life we need to choose and I pray we all stay on that

During the last few meetings, we had Paola Jean Simon bring Haitian food that her mom made and Leila, Leilany, and Lorelei Gonzalez bring Dominican food that their mom made They all did this to express their cultural heritage to the school. The different types of food they all brung included sweet plantains, Pasta tuna salad, fried pork, Hatitan patties, fried cake, and many more. Najai Hazelton said, “These different types of food speak your dreams into existence.”

THE ROAD TO STATES

Many of the John Carroll sports teams have done extremely well this year. Swimming made it to egionals, cross country made it to states and football is still on their way to the top. When asked how ootball is getting to states Austin Shevak says “We’re probably going to get there by a bus,” This shows how confident our players are in their abilities to go far this year.
