OUR PURPOSE: HIFF, entering it’s inaugural year, was founded with the intent to establish Northern Colorado as an international destination where progressive thought and action are celebrated through the art of filmmaking and other forms of creative expression.
OUR MISSION: The mission of HIFF is to inspire and engender passionate artistic creations and positive changes to our way of life by providing an international platform to spread knowledge and creativity.

Other globally-known festivals have recognized an interest in Northern Colorado and even expanded to our market, yet they’ve apologetically made it known that they are “too big” to encourage submissions from local filmmakers. #HIFFCO2019 IS A CAN'T-MISS EVENT FOR ALL WHO APPRECIATE ART & MUSIC In year one, we aim to keep a contained and concentrated series of events, film blocks, and performances, including an all-day event at The Historic Rialto Theater (entering it's 100th Year) in Loveland, CO, as well a Kick-off Gala at The Museum of Discovery in Fort Collins.
We expect to host between 700-1,000 people during Friday and Saturday, which does not include the preceding benefit events throughout the spring and summer.
Through additional advertising opportunities leading up to the festival, our broad and growing social reach, and unique day-of marketing opportunities, potential reach is quite broad, yet focused, on a niche crowd of film-goers, creatives, local influencers, affluent philanthropists, and entrepreneurs.
