In Phase 1: KITH we are tasked to express our discoveries, that we found on the radius of 1 KM of REXKL, through methods such as speculative drawings, photography, films, lyrics, poems and short stories.

In Phase 2 we are tasked to do a live project. For this project, we have a client who is the architect of REXKL. We are tasked to make an installation for REXKL.
PHASE 3 GLIMPSES OF KITH
In Phase 3: Glimpses of KITH we are tasked to further develop the ideas and characteristics. We are required to provide a set of speculative drawings to accompany the narrative, which will be reflected through materiality, scale, technicality and design expression throughout the development process.

PERPSPECTIVE
REFLECTION
This semester feels like adventure for me to explore more in creatively thinking and designing. I learnt more about myself and what design language suited me. It was a big challenge for me as my topic is weird and uncommon for my final year project. But, I found it could be interesting and make people interested in the idea.
One of the challenges for me is to design a space that make pigs comfortable. On the other hand, I have to explore on myself and what kind of design language that suited me. At first, I was hesitated to do this topic as I live in Malaysia and Indonesia where the majority is Muslim. I afraid that my topic will make them feel uncomfortable. But my tutor, convinced me to do it as it is an interesting topic to explore.
As this topic will be used again for semester 7, I have to think more technically. It is because my juries for final review said that this is technically impossible to make. Sadly, I have to find way to make this possible. But I will leave those problems to the future me.
Overall, I think that this semester is the most fruitful semester. I see a lot of great works from my classmate. But, for me some of them doesn’t have a consistent design language. Although my design and design language are not the best, at least I know that I have my own design language. Hopefully, I can stay consistent with my design language and improve it more. I also hope that I can be more flexible in designing a space and be more creative in my thinking process
Lastly, I want to say thank you to my tutors and lecturers, Ms. Yasmin, Ms. Fatimah, and Ms. Chelsea. I am very grateful to them for guiding me in this journey. Ms. Fatimah won’t be teaching us next semester because she is pregnant. I hope everything goes well for her and congratulation to Ms. Fatimah. Lastly, I also want to thanks my classmates who also gave me feedbacks and were very supportive.
