01 Envimas In the European Union, complex construction projects need to be assessed according to their environmental impact. However, today such an assessment is time-consuming and expansive due to complex environmental interactions. Moreover, geographical information is often kept decentralised, heterogeneously and in diverse formats and media. Envimas’ goal is to ease environmental impact assessments, integrating the whole process by modelling the location-specific legal guidelines, geographic information and the interdependence of environmental factors. Thus, information presented by Envimas enables construction planners and government inspectors to estimate possible effects of construction projects more precisely and much faster than in the old-fashioned way.
