LIU JIAN Liu Jian (China, 1969), é especializado em pintura chinesa e licenciado pela Nanjing Art Institute em 1993. Desde então, fez vários trabalhos que vai de encontro aos critérios de arte moderna e que foram apresentados em algumas das mais importantes exibições na China e no estrangeiro. É um dos artistas representantes da Gaudy Art and Conceptual Photography. Começou a trabalhar em animação em 1995 e fundou o Le-joy Animation Studio em 2007. A sua primeira animação, Piercing 1, foi exibida em vários festivais de cinema, incluindo o Holland Animation FF, Annecy International Animation FF e o Hong Kong Interntional FF. Liu Jian é professor de cinema de animação na China Academy of Art. Liu Jian (China, 1969) majored in Chinese Painting and graduated from the Nanjing Art Institute in 1993. Since then, he has made various works that met with the criteria of modern art and that were presented in some of the most important exhibitions in China and abroad. He is one of the representative artists of Gaudy Art and Conceptual Photography. He began working on animations in 1995 and founded Le-joy Animation Studio in 2007. His first feature animation, Piercing 1, screened in numerous films festivals, including Holland Animation FF, Annecy International Animation FF, and Hong Kong International FF. Liu Jian also teaches animation filmmaking at the China Academy of Art.
