Who We Are EHS Support is a global family of engineers, geologists, scientists, and technical experts who specialize in complex environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) challenges across a wide array of industries. Our growth plans, which are developed by our individual service lines and integrated into a single plan, project a doubling of our labor revenue from 2023 to 2030 (exceeding $60M) and a hiring plan that requires a total of over 300 technical professionals. Make the Most of Your Plan

To help ensure that we can continue to offer these great benefits to our team, it’s important that we are informed consumers and engaged in our care. Here are some valuable tips to help save money and be your healthiest: Tip #1 – Stay in the network.

Use the insurance provider’s ‘Find a Doctor’ tool to locate a doctor/dentist/specialist who participates in our health, dental, or vision plan. When a provider participates with our insurance, we pay lower out-of-pocket costs, and you still get the care you need.

Tip #2 – Be proactive with preventive care.

This includes routine screenings, annual check-ups, vaccinations, dental visits, and eye exams.

Procedures such as annual mammograms and colonoscopies are often considered preventative and are covered as part of your annual care. However, if something is discovered during the mammogram screening that requires additional imaging or if a polyp was removed during the colonoscopy, the routine preventative service will be billed as a diagnostic service.

Tip #3 – Know where to go.

Medical issues can happen at any hour of the day. If it’s an earache in the middle of the night or a sprained ankle during after-school sports – knowing where to get care can save time and money.

Vacation, Sick, and Holiday Time At EHS Support, we work hard, and we play hard. We all know our personal limits and understand when we need to step away. We recruit the best and expect the best, but we also understand and value the mental and emotional wellbeing of our employees. EHS Support has a Flexible Vacation Time Policy for full-time employees, allowing each person to determine the amount of vacation that works best for their specific goals and situation.

Provide flexibility in taking the time you need it as a trusted professional and trusted member of the team.

Allow each individual to choose what is a priority for them in terms of level of contribution, career aspiration, and provided you are supporting team members and meeting expectations.

Tie into the rest of the structure to allow for an adaptable model for our professionals to design a path that best suits them while still adding maximum value to the team.

You will accrue five paid sick days per year, pro-rated monthly from your date of hire. In addition, sick time is evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on illness and ability to work.

Our Paid Holiday Policy is designed to be inclusive and provides our employees with the flexibility to observe public holidays that are important to them. This policy will not change the amount of holiday time provided.

Instead, we will provide two floating holidays that can be used on any publicly recognized holiday that you and/or your family wish to observe, in addition to the standard Company-observed holidays.

EHS Support recognizes the following days as annual holidays on which full-time employees will not be required to work and will be compensated. If one of the holidays falls on a Saturday it will be observed on the Friday before the occurrence, likewise if one of the holidays falls on a Sunday it will be observed on the Monday following the occurrence. Full-time employees will be paid for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and (2) Floating Holidays.

Financial Services

Everyone has the long-term goal of retiring.

Our 401K Savings Plan is designed to help you save for a financially secure retirement, whether you’re in year one or year forty-one of your career.

How it Works All employees who are 21 years old or older become eligible to participate in the plan once they have completed 90 days of consecutive employment. Eligible employees may enter the plan on the first day of the month following the three-month waiting period. To support your retirement savings efforts, EHS Support provides a Safe Harbor contribution to eligible plan participants, matching 100% of the first 3% of employee salary deferrals and 50% of the next 2% of employee salary deferrals. You are 100% vested immediately. Because of this, we encourage all staff to consider investing once they become eligible.

EHS Support’s Sediment & Risk Assessment team is made up of experienced professionals who are passionate about their work and not afraid to challenge conventional thinking. Our focus is on making rational and practical assessment and remediation decisions that provide real, right-sized solutions. We do this by listening closely to our clients to make sure the solutions we provide are both technically sound and aligned with their unique business needs.

Our diverse team of 22 (and growing) includes several staff with advanced degrees and specialized areas of study, including four with PhDs. When you join us, you are joining a team recognized as experts and industry leaders in human health and ecological risk assessment, toxicology, cost allocation and litigation support, water quality compliance, and ecological services. We understand the inherent uncertainties in any project and are willing to go the extra mile to define the significance. Services Within this Group Include Human Health & Ecological Risk Assessment.

Our team provides clients with focused risk assessment strategies to quantify human health and ecological risks and support technically sound risk management decision-making. Our risk assessors provide a perceptive awareness of how risk assessment results impact the environment, as well as our client's business, and we provide innovative solutions for managing liabilities that are at the forefront of the risk management process for many of our clients. As part of this team, you will conduct multi-pathway risk assessments of conventional and emerging contaminants based on sitespecific conditions that influence the contaminant mobility, bioavailability, and toxicity. You will engage with agency representatives, and potentially other stakeholders, to communicate, advocate, and gain consensus on risk management strategies. In this role, relationship development, communication, and collaboration are key skills that you will hone.

Litigation and Allocation Support.

Litigation and allocation support require a unique balance of skill sets. Our team of experts covers a wide array of disciplines, including contaminant fate and transport, toxicology, industrial facility engineering, and geospatial and statistical data analysis. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, we will capitalize on our collective comprehensive knowledge to generate effective responses to adversarial experts. From data analysis and site investigations to environmental forensics, your expertise will help to tackle the most complex environmental problems. Not only do we understand the science, but also how to present the evidence in a clear and logical manner to the audiences that matter in litigation and allocation.

Sediment Assessment & Remediation.

As part of this team, you will investigate impacts to sediments resulting from historical or current releases to waterways. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to identify potential contaminant sources, understand contaminant fate and transport, assess human health and ecological risks, and develop risk-based remedial designs and restoration outcomes that are protective of human health and the environment. In addition, our team develops technical positions to support cost allocations associated with our clients’ environmental liabilities at contaminated sediment sites. In this role, you will use your technical knowledge and skills in data analysis, strategy development, client advocacy, and communication.

Services Within this Group Include Toxicology & Product Stewardship.

Toxicology is rapidly evolving. We stay up to date on the latest science so we can provide the most effective solutions as our clients navigate a dynamic regulatory environment. Working in this group requires adaptability, continuous learning, and ongoing study and evaluation of new information and chemicals. Our toxicologists work with our clients to understand the relative toxicity of ingredients to humans, animals, the food and water they consume, and the environment around them. Our analyses support the development of impactful solutions for clients to manage chemicals within their testing and production process. As a member of this team, you will advance your skills by adapting your expertise to understanding a client’s goal of getting a product to market, improving a product, and ensuring safe and reliable products to their customers. You will be a trusted partner providing guidance to inform decision-making in their business.

Water Quality Compliance.

When you join this team, you will contribute to the development of successful water quality compliance strategies for our clients. You will work with industry trade organizations, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders to derive technically robust, site-specific permit discharge limits and water quality criteria for clients based on their specific situations. Our proactive consultants take time to understand our clients’ operations and industry, the impact of their water discharge, along with applicable regulatory frameworks, to develop plans that balance the best interests of all stakeholders. You will build your knowledge in our clients’ industries, build deep relationships to understand our client’s operations and needs, and use a forward-looking approach to stay ahead of the curve on upcoming challenges.

Industry Working Groups EHS Support has a long history of working with industry working groups and contributing to the advancement of technologies, knowledge, regulatory, and stakeholder advocacy.

Strategic Growth Projects Enhancing skills and expanding knowledge are at the forefront of our business and this growth plays a fundamental role in our continued success.
