JETAA Jamaica

The Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme Alumni Association of Jamaica (JETAA Jamaica) was formed in 2002 and is aimed at promoting grass-roots international exchange between Japan and Jamaica. It is comprised mainly of persons who have worked as Assistant Language Teachers in primary, junior high and senior high schools across Japan under the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme. The promotion of Japan and its culture takes the form of activities such as school visits, exhibitions, and assisting the Japanese Embassy in organizing cultural activities.
