This fall semester we had the honor of hosting the 10th annual 7 Under 30 event. We would like to thank Wendy Plant and Kaitlin Simpson for organizing, as well as Ysabella Rodriguez for facilitating the discussion. 7 Under 30 is an annual event for which seven alumni from Florida State University who have started businesses before they turned 30, come back to share their experiences. At the beginning of this event, each speaker was able to introduce themselves and provide business advice from their experiences. Here are some highlights of the wise words from this year’s speakers:

“You will never be able to get things done until you put yourself out there and ASK.” Katie Haggerty Quarter Moon Owner
“Authenticate your assumptions before you turn them into convictions.” Gordon Folkes Archer First Responder CEO & Founder
