Developing Futures Event Assistant Apprenticeship Level 3 | Duration: 15 - 18 Months Overview As premier provider of funded training to the event sector JGA is first to have achieved distinctions for students on the event assistant apprenticeship. The apprenticeship is an accredited learning and development programme designed to advance people wanting to work in the events sector. Typical daily jobs comprise venue and location identification, contributing to defining the look and feel of the event and transport and catering logistics. Event Assistants are enthusiastic with good stakeholder communication as well as the patience to deal with third parties. They are able to work effectively within a team and contribute positive ideas to discussions. Competent job-holders are able to adapt to different environments and always show respect to others. Delivery Model The course will be delivered through classroom sessions once a month, as well as virtual classroom and pre-recorded lessons. Off-the-Job Training JGA run a blended learning programme for Event Assistant Apprentices. At the core is a series of monthly face-to-face workshops led by an events professional. This is supplemented by a range of online learning and other offthe-job activities.
