We are constantly expanding our Handmade in Germany collection, which is manufactured in Stuttgart, to include innovative pieces of jewellery with multiwear functions that offer several wearing options for different occasions – because, for us, this also contributes to sustainability.
A small part of our product range, our COEUR Essentials, are produced elsewhere under high quality requirements and in line with our ethical standards. Whether ring, bangle or fine ear studs, these fabulous allrounders ensure a brilliant appearance with a clear conscience, either on their own or especially in combination with other items.
Each of our jewellery pieces is quality-checked and lovingly packaged in FSC-certified cases sourced from sustainable forestry.

Wir bitten Sie, dies bei Ihrer Schaufenstergestaltung zu berücksichtigen. Außerdem sind alle legierten Teile, ja selbst beste Vergoldungen, empfindlich gegen Parfüm, Haarspray, alle mit Treibgas versetzten Produkte wie auch gegen den natürlichen Säureschutzmantel der Haut, der von Frau zu Frau verschieden ist. Darum empfehlen wir, Schmuckstücke vor dem Verwenden von Kosmetika und Parfüms abzulegen. Um Beschädigungen durch mögliches Eintreten von Wasser zu vermeiden, sollten Ringe vor dem Händewaschen abgelegt werden.

Um den Verbraucher vor übermäßigem Kontakt mit dem Allergen Nickel zu schützen, wurden diverse EU-Richtlinien erlassen. Alle unsere Materialien und Produkte entsprechen der sogenannten Nickelrichtlinie 94/27/EG und der REACH Verordnung (Verordnung (EG) 1907/2006, Anhang XVII, Eintrag 27). Diese besagen, dass Produkte, die unmittelbar und länger mit der Haut in Berührung kommen, wie zum Beispiel Ohrringe, Halsketten, Armbänder, Ringe und Armbanduhrgehäuse nur über eine sehr geringe Nickelfreisetzung verfügen dürfen. Dieser Grenzwert, der vom Gesetzgeber als un_ bedenklich angesehen wird, liegt bei 0,5 g/cm2/Woche. Unsere Produkte unterliegen einer ständigen Qualitätskontrolle und werden permanent nach den gültigen Richtlinien getestet und sind konform zu allen gesetzlichen Vorgaben.
COEUR DE LION Service: Bei unseren Colliers arbeiten wir überwiegend mit nylon-ummantelten Stahlseilchen, die die Vorteile eines Stahlseils (hohe Reißfestigkeit) und eines Nylonfadens (das Collier liegt rund am Hals) miteinander vereinen. Sollte dennoch einmal ein Collier reißen, werden wir dies Ihrer Kundin umgehend ersetzen.

At COEUR DE LION we impose the most stringent quality requirements on both our suppliers, our choice of materials and also our own personnel during the production process. Nevertheless there are factors which can have negative effects on high-quality fashion jewellery. For instance, direct UV radiation from sunlight can cause fading. Please be aware of this problem when designing your display windows. Additionally, all alloyed parts, including the best quality gold plating, are sensitive to perfume, hairspray and all products containing propellant gas, and also to the skin’s natural protective acidic layer, which varies from woman to woman. Accordingly we recommend removing jewellery before putting on cosmetics or perfume. To avoid possible water damage, please ensure that you remove our rings before washing or bathing.
Nickel: Quality is our absolute top priority when developing and selecting our products. We have high standards for all our materials and take great care to use only materials that are very kind to the skin. That is why we use 316L stainless steel for our jewellery and the casings and clasp of our watches, as it is also used in medical technology. In order to protect consumers from excessive contact with the allergen nickel, various EU directives have been issued. All our materials and products comply with the so-called Nickel Directive 94/27/EC and the REACH regulation (Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, Annex XVII, entry 27). These state that products that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin, such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings and wristwatch casings, may only release a very low amount of nickel. The limit considered safe by the legislator is 0,5 g/cm2/week.
Our products are subject to constant quality control and are permanently tested according to the valid regulations and are compliant with all legal requirements.
COEUR DE LION Service: For our necklaces we predominantly use nylon-coated steel wire, which combines the advantages of steel wire (high durability) and of nylon thread, which ensures that the necklace lies flat on the throat. However, should a necklace nevertheless tear, we will replace it for your customer immediately.

COEUR DE LION pose des exigences extrêmement rigoureuses en matière de qualité, que ce soit à ses fournisseurs dans le choix des matériaux ou à ses propres collaborateurs au niveau de la production. Il existe malgré tout certains facteurs qui ont des effets néfastes sur les bijoux fantaisie de haute qualité. C’est ainsi que l’exposition directe aux rayonnements UV émis par la lumière solaire comporte, un risque de décoloration. Merci d’en tenir compte en décorant votre vitrine. De plus, toutes les pièces revêtues d’un alliage, y compris les meilleures dorures, sont sensibles aux parfums, aux laques, à tous les produits contenant des aérosols, de même qu’à la couche protectrice acide naturelle de la peau, laquelle diffère d’une femme à l’autre. Nous recommandons par conséquent d’enlever les bijoux avant d’utiliser des parfums ou produits cosmétiques. Votre bague est precieuse aussi nous vous recommandons de la retirer avant tout contact avec l’eau.
Nickel : lors du développement et de la sélection de nos produits, la qualité est notre priorité absolue. Nous faisons preuve d’une grande exigence dans le choix de tous nos matériaux et faisons très attention à n’utiliser que des matériaux parfaitement tolérés par la peau. Nous utilisons donc pour nos bijoux ainsi que pour les boîtiers et fermoirs de nos montres de l’acier inoxydable 316L tel que celui utilisé dans la technique médicale. Afin de protéger les consommateurs contre un contact prolongé avec le nickel, un allergène, l’EU a adopté
diverses directives. Tous nos matériaux et produits sont en conformité avec la directive sur le nickel 94/27/EG et le règlement REACH (Règlement (EU) 1907/2006, annexe XVII, entrée 27). Ces textes mentionnent que les produits qui entrent en contact direct avec la peau, comme par exemple les boucles d’oreilles, les colliers, les bracelets, les bagues et les boîtiers des montresbracelets ne doivent libérer qu’un très faible taux de nickel. Cette valeur limite considérée comme sans danger par le législateur est fixée à 0,5 g/cm2/semaine.
Nos produits sont sans cesse soumis à des contrôles qualité et à des tests dans le respect des directives en vigueur et sont ainsi en conformité avec toutes les dispositions légales.
Le Service COEUR DE LION : Nous utilisons pour la plupart de nos colliers des cordelettes d’acier gainées de Nylon, qui combinent les avantages d’un câble d’acier (haute résistance à la rupture) et ceux d’un fil de Nylon (le collier forme un cercle parfait autour du cou). Si, par exception, l’un de nos colliers venait à se rompre, nous le remplacerions immédiatement à votre cliente.
