TribeFest
TribeFest 2011: Las Vegas is THE event for young Jewish adults. More than 1,800 young Jews will come together to explore why it matters to be Jewish, how they connect to their Judaism and the larger community and to have an amazing time. It will offer inspiring programming, music, food, arts and entertainment, all celebrating the richness of our Jewish culture and heritage. Attendees will engage in hands-on community service and develop a deep understanding of the value of giving back, not just to the community, but to themselves. This year, the Young Leadership Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis will be sending a delegation of Young Leadership Board Members and Committee Members. Spots are still available for a limited time. If you are interested, contact Inna Kolesnikova-Shmukler, Young Leadership Director at YLD@JFGI.org as soon as possible.

Meet Our Young Leadership Division TribeFest Delegation “I joined YLD as a way to get more actively involved in the local Jewish community and have really enjoyed all the events I have attended. I look forward to hearing more about the Federation on a national level at TribeFest.” Mike Abrams, Social Committee “YLD has been a great way for me to get involved in the Indianapolis Jewish Community. I’m looking forward to TribeFest as I will be able to see my involvement in the Indianapolis community grow to a national level.” Matthew Tobe, Social Committee Chair Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis 6705 Hoover Road Indianapolis, IN 46260-4120

“One of the best Jewish experiences of my entire life was when I attended the Washington 13 Conference in Washington DC. The amount of information, lectures, seminars and other informational programming was not only awesome, but truly eye-opening! I’m sure that the upcoming TribeFest event will have similarly outstanding programming, and I am excited to bring some of the inspiring information back to Indianapolis to share with my community.” Adam Goldsmith, Bar Night Program Lead
“TribeFest is a way to connect with other communities around the U.S. big and small, collaborate, share ideas and nurture the future Jewish Leaders of Indianapolis. I am so excited with the energy of the group Indianapolis is bringing to TribeFest this year!” Rachel Modiano, YLD Co-Chair “After moving to Indy, I became involved in YLD to connect with the Jewish community and have the opportunity to help develop programs for others looking to stay connected to their Jewish roots. Attending TribeFest will further that connection and hopefully inspire new and exciting ideas that we can use here in Indy.” Cari Rezman, Social Action Co-Chair “I’m looking forward to TribeFest having the opportunity to learn how I can be a better leader in my Jewish community and YLD by bringing back new ideas, new contacts and new energy about being involved in the Federation. I joined YLD to meet young Jewish professionals from Indianapolis. I’d moved back to the area and thought this was a great way to get involved in the community.” David Cangany, Newcomer Relations Chair
