SEASONAL BOARDING
Horses resident with us on a permanent basis benefit from a preferential boarding rate and are cared for year round by our team of highly skilled staff. The whole process is taken care of for you, from regular farrier and worming routines, to vaccinations and registrations.
We welcome seasonal boarders visiting our own stallions or other Newmarket based stallions. A world-class team of vets from Newmarket Equine Hospital and Rossdales & Partners are on site every day, so your mare is seen as and when she needs to be. When she is ready to be covered we take care of booking transport and make sure that all of the necessary paperwork is in order.
FOALING Our foaling unit is purpose built to cater for mares and their newborn foals. Pregnant mares are cared for 24 hours a day, with a member of our experienced staff always on hand to make sure that when the time comes, your mare’s needs are cared for quickly and efficiently. Every foal is given a thorough newborn exam by our vets and we work in close contact with them to devise a suitable regime for every foal during the vital first few days of life. After foaling we will send you a detailed foaling report, and photographs of your new arrival will follow.
We work alongside some of the industry’s most well respected vets and farriers to make sure that at every step of the way, you and your horse receive the best possible standard of care. Regardless of whether your horse is resident with us permanently or boarding with us for only a short period of time, you will be updated regularly and owners are always welcome to visit.
VET SCHEME 2021 Vet Schemes are run in conjunction with Newmarket Equine Hospital and Rossdale & Partners; both aiming to consolidate the cost of reproductive work during the breeding season. For more information and prices for either of our vet schemes, please contact the Stud Office.
