Twitter Bans David Duke

Twitter has permanently banned Klu Klux Klan leader David Duke for running afoul of the social media giant’s policies on hate speech. The company announced on Friday that Duke “has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of the Twitter rules on hateful conduct.” Duke had been on Twitter since 2009 and frequently tweeted racist and anti-Semitic messages to his 53,000 followers.
