SINCE ITS INCEPTION IN 1847, JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO FORMING STUDENTS INTO THE MEN THEY WERE MADE TO BE — MEN WHO SEE GOD IN ALL THINGS, FREELY DEDICATING THEMSELVES TO ENHANCING, IMPROVING, AND ENRICHING THEIR FAMILIES, PROFESSIONS, AND COMMUNITIES.
Your financial support enables Jesuit to accomplish its mission of developing in its students the competence, conscience, and compassion that will enable them to be men of faith and men for others.
The Parents’ Annual Giving Drive, or PAG, is held at the start of each school year to make up the difference between what Jesuit charges for tuition and what it actually costs to educate a Blue Jay.
This year in particular, support from alumni and parents will make sure that Jesuit can continue to competitively compensate its exceptional teachers. Jesuit’s commitment to recruiting and retaining outstanding faculty members ensures that we can provide a world-class education for your son.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. WHAT IF I CAN’T AFFORD TO CONTRIBUTE THE FULL GAP?
For 51 years, Jesuit students have benefited from outstanding parent participation in the PAG Drive. Jesuit relies on the generosity of parents who are able to contribute the gap or more, but the drive’s success also hinges on those parents who do their best to make up any part of the gap to the best of their ability. We invite you to make a gift that is personally significant to you.
2. WHAT WAS THE RESULT OF LAST YEAR’S PAG DRIVE?
The generosity of parents such as you made last year’s drive over $1.2 million pledged.
3. ARE PAG DONATIONS USED TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS?
No. Jesuit’s endowment is the source of financial aid.
4. HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Make your pledge — a promise to donate — as soon as possible but no later than Friday, September 19. You may pledge online at www.jesuitnola.org/pag or by returning the enclosed pledge card. If you pledge or donate online, you do not need to submit a pledge card.
5. WHEN CAN I MAKE MY DONATION?
You can write a check or donate online at any time. The timing is really up to you. For income tax purposes, many parents make it a point to contribute before the end of the calendar year. Some parents make a single lump sum donation; others prefer installment options. Pledges should be fulfilled by May 31, 2026
6. DOES JESUIT ACCEPT MATCHING GIFTS?
If you or your spouse works for a company that has a matching gift program, a matching contribution will maximize your donation to Jesuit because you receive recognition for the total amount of both gifts.
Your PAG donation is tax deductible.

Having become Jesuit parent some 14 years ago, I know that PAG is a perfect example of Jesuit’s mission at work. I firmly believe that my participation in PAG has been an irreplaceable part of my three sons’ education: it helps keep tuition accessible for all families and provides more young men the lifelong gift of a Jesuit formation.
