Welcome

to Grace Retreat 2012!

This year the church theme of “Living Live Missionally” has been imprinted in many of our mind but has it been imprinted in our hearts? I felt that this retreat is critical for Grace Assembly to fulfill her destiny in God. I pray that the call to live life missionally will be rooted deep down in our hearts. Many of the bible heroes like Moses, Isaiah and Paul were able to live life missionally. They were able to experience God’s presence; Moses has the burning bush experience; Isaiah has a revelation of the holiness of God and Paul has the Damascus’ encounter. All of them experience God’s passion in a personal manner. They were all compelled by His passion to live life missionally. They became the conduit of God’s power to fulfill their destiny! 2

As we attend the various retreat services, workshops, and even the “TAIA” (Talk About It Again), let’s come with a sense of expectation that we will experience God in a deeper manner. I strongly believe that: • God’s presence will draw us closer in our daily walk with Him. • God’s passion will compel us to reach out to our love ones and friends. • God’s power will prepare us to serve Him beyond our own abilities. I believe that our encounter with God in this retreat will indeed lead us to impact our world for Christ Jesus! Let’s experience God’s presence, passion and power in a very special way!
