Small Apartment in New Orleans, LA IDES221 Residential Interior Design | Fall 2023 Prof. Jennifer Crouch THE BINDERS Project & Client Binders All the information you gather and the documents and ideas you create must be included in two (2) binders, the project binder, and the client binder. The Project Binder is an in-house record of all the project details to be kept indefinitely. This binder creates itself as you go through the project process. It helps you stay organized, on track, and professional. You will refer to it if changes are needed in the future, if replacement of an item is needed, or if your client wants a refresh. The Client Binder is given to the client on or after installation and includes product guides, warranties, copies of drawings, etc. Your client binder will not have warranties, but it should include product and maintenance guides and copies of presentation drawings. You may also include resources such as upholstery cleaning services, sources for bulb replacements, and tips for styling their newly designed space, for entertaining guests, or hosting social gatherings. Both binders should reflect the designer’s brand and be presented in a professional manner. DUE: Both digital binders must be uploaded to Blackboard by Thursday, 12/7 by 11:59PM.
