Bag drop will take place at the information tent in the northeast side of the marina parking lot.
Please use the bag that you received at packet pickup as your drop bag on race day. Only items that fit in this bag will be accepted at the drop site.
RACE DAY parking
To ensure the safety of athletes and spectators, there will be no on-site parking at the race venue. All participants and attendees must park at the designated offsite lots. Complimentary shuttle buses will run continuously between the offsite parking lot and the race venue starting at 5am and ending when the race concludes. Please allow extra time to park, shuttle in, and check in before your race. Buses will take approximately 20 minutes from the parking lot to the race venue. Please note Accessible parking and drop-off accommodations are available. Please contact our Race Director at Kathryn.Renner@jocogov.org in advance if you require assistance. TIMING & results
Your timing chip is on the back of your race bib. Please do not bend your race bib/timing chip. Race bibs are to be worn on the front of your shirt/shorts throughout the entire race. If you forget or lose your bib, please check in with the race management under the information tent in the northeast side of the marina parking lot prior to race start. Results will be available on the race page on RunSignup.com.
PHOTOS
There will be multiple photographers on site so be sure to flash them your best smile! Race photos will be posted to the Facebook page and a link will be emailed out to all participants by May 16th.




COURSE maps
All athletes will begin on the main park road heading south. The Half Marathon and 15K will begin at 7:00am. The 10K and 5K will begin at 7:30am. The run will take place on the paved Coffee Creek Trail system and on the roads inside Heritage Park. The course will have several water stations that may be seen multiple times depending on your race distance. Turn around points will be marked with signs. Please keep an eye out for your turn around point as volunteers may not be present at these locations.

AWARDS
All participants will receive a finisher’s medal upon completion of the race. The top OVERALL male and female in each race will receive an award as well as the top male and female in the Masters Division (40+)*. The top three males and females in each event and age group listed below will also receive an award. Please note: all awards will be given out on site and will not be mailed.
*Athletes receiving the top Overall and Masters awards will not qualify for age group awards.

If you need to exchange your t-shirt size, please visit the information tent in the northeast corner of the marina parking lot AFTER the race to see if there are extra.
WEATHER
safety
In the case of inclement weather or other unforeseen factors that may threaten the safety of the participants, JCPRD reserves the right to alter, eliminate portions and or modify the event. If the starting time of the event is delayed, the JCPRD race management team will update participants through a public announcement system, if available, at the event and the Rain Out line at 913-686-6030 ext, 16. The JCPRD race management team will determine when the event has returned to acceptable conditions. The event can be delayed, but the park must be open to the public by noon (12pm). The JCPRD race management team can only delay until it is no longer possible for the race to be completed before the park must be reopened. If conditions have not improved or JCPRD deems the course unsafe, the event will be cancelled with no refunds. There will be no rain date or rescheduling of this event.
