Abel Affleck (Augustus Gloop) is thrilled to debut at TIP! He’s performed at The White Theatre and The Barn, and returns to Gladstone TIP in August for Elf. Grateful to the team, his loved ones, Delano, and to Godmay He receive all glory!
Annabelle Bartlett (Ensemble) is excited to be in her second show at TIP! She will be a third grader this fall and loves dancing at Miller Marley and singing with Ashley Pankow. She played ‘Sad Girl’ in Bye Bye Birdie last summer at TIP!
Louisa Bartlett (Ensemble) is so excited to be back on the TIP stage! Past TIP credits include Summer in School of Rock, Mayor in SpongeBob, and Wizard of Oz! She is a Junior at SMNW and she loves performing around the Kansas City area! @louisagracebartlett
Andie Bradley (Ensemble) is thrilled to be part of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at TIP! Favorite roles she’s played include Regina (Mean Girls), Dragon (Shrek), and Sharpay (High School Musical). She thanks her friends and family for their endless support!
Lorien C Colucci (Ensemble) is thrilled to make her TIP debut! In fact, one of her first
roles was Charlie Buckett at TIP Academy. She dances at Miller Marley and performs with Stage Right. She thanks her parents, friends, Donna West, and Ashley Pankow!
Katie Coughlin (Ensemble) is so excited to be a part of her first TIP show! She recently graduated from BVW, and will be attending OSU in the fall. She would like to thank her family, friends, teachers, and Jesus! :)
Betsy Dandurand (Ensemble) (9) is over the moon to perform at Theatre in the Park! She dances at Miller Marley, takes aerial silks at Trilogy, and was bitten by the theatre bug playing Molly in Annie! Hugs to Guy, MM, parents and big sisters!
Lucy Dandurand (Ensemble) is thrilled for this opportunity! She dances at Miller Marley where she performs around KC and trains with Youth Ballet 2. Favorite roles: Clara (Clara’s Dream), Serena (Legally Blonde), Amanda (Matilda). Big thanks to Guy, MM, HTS and fam!
Markus Darnell Raines (Ensemble) is a man of many talents. Whether he’s singing, acting, or rapping, he puts his all into whatever he does! Some credits include hip hop Cinderella with BRTKC and Billy Elliot with MTKC PRO. Markus is excited for his debut show with TIP!
Mandy Dulny Dowd (Ensemble) is thrilled to be back at TIP! Mandy has performed all over KC at Starlight, New Theatre, The J and MTKC. She loves choreographing and teaching all ages! She thanks the team, her parents, Zach and her HUSBAND Sam!
Colin Gardner (Mr. Beauregarde) is excited to be apart of CICF and to do another TIP show after 17 years! The best part is being around great people. You can catch him hopping around town at his favorite karaoke bars or designing someone’s house!
Rebekah Grieb (Mrs. Green) Always happy to be out at TIP, Rebekah is excited to be playing again in the world of imagination and make believe alongside friends. Love and appreciation to Guy, the chauffeurs, and the rest of the team for making it possible for this blind girl to keep playing.
Harrison Guest (Ensemble) Theatre is one of my biggest passions so I am ecstatic to not only share that passion in my first show at TIP but develop it through this experience!
Sutton Hamm (Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing in her first production at TIP! Past productions include The Addams Family, and Matilda. Sutton will be a 7th grader at ABMS. Sutton would like to thank her friends and family!

Phil Howard (Grandpa George/Ensemble) is excited to return to the TIP stage this summer! Previouly: Patchy/Mr. Krabs in Spongebob, The Cat in Seussical, Houdini in Ragtime, and Elijah Whitney in Anything Goes! He would like to give a special shout out to his family and friends for their everlasting support!
Kyle Hyde (Ensemble) is excited to return to the Theatre in the Park stage! It’s been seven years since his last show, which is seven too many. He just moved back to KC after several years in Virginia and he couldn’t be happier to be back!
Lou King (Ensemble) is beyond ecstatic to be a part of TIP! Lou was last seen in Sister Act last summer with TIP and also performed in The Full Monty in 2021. Lou is a recent graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Musical Theatre Major.

Melissa Lounes (Violet Beauregarde) is excited to make her TIP debut. She has previously performed in productions at school and The Culture House. She enjoys singing, dancing, and traveling, and thanks her family for supporting her theater journey.
Dave McIntire (Ensemble) is excited to be in his third TIP show and most recently was seen as Big Davey in MTKCPro’s Billy Elliot. Dave thanks his wife, Maggie, children, and colleagues for their support and encouragement.

Simon Schupp (Mr. Salt) is thrilled to be back on the outdoor park stage, as he was last seen performing in Tom Sawyer in 2014. He has worked with The Coterie, MTH, Spinning Tree, among many others. Love to Anne, Isaac, and Ivy!
Charlie Senuta (Mike Teavee) is thrilled to be in his first show at TIP! You can usually see him on stage at Olathe North where he will be a senior this year. Charlie would like to thank his family and voice teacher Callie!
Nolan Shannon (Ensemble) is excited for his debut at TIP. Recent roles; Nemo in Finding Nemo Jr. at PRT and Ralphie in A Christmas Story at Theatre Lawrence. Eat candy, laugh loud and enjoy the show!
Sadie Shannon (Mrs. Teavee) is an actor, director, and theatre educator. Recent roles; June in Exit 16 at Hypothesis Theatre Lab and Little Mermaid in Disenchanted at TIP. She’s excited to share the stage with this wonderful cast, especially her son, Nolan.
Liam Smith (Charlie Bucket) is 13 and honored to be performing in his 3rd TIP show. Credits include: Wizard of Oz and Newsies (TIP), Freaky Friday and Newsies (New Theater & Restaurant), and Dr. Dolittle (Coterie). He loves dancing at Miller Marley, playing saxophone, and of course... chocolate!
Parker Teevan (Ensemble) is so excited to be doing his first TIP show! He attends Oberlin College and Conservatory where he just finished playing Warner in Legally Blonde. Parker hopes to inspire others through storytelling and he’s so grateful for this opportunity to continue that dream.
Reed Uthe (Grandpa Joe) Is Director of Theatre at BVWHS and has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels for 36 years. Favorite TIP roles: Narrator (INTO THE WOODS), Nathan Detroit (GUYS AND DOLLS), Augie (THE SPARKLETONES). Many thanks to Guy, Stacey, and the cats.
Lynnette Valencia Rempel (Ensemble) is excited for her second show at TIP. She played Sr. Mary Martin of Tours in Sister Act last year. Performed with Music Theatre Wichita. Lynnette is the Preschool Director at Ascension Catholic School. Love to Dave and Katy!

Linda Marie Williams Taylor (Grandma Josephine/Ensemble) is thrilled to return to TIP for her second season after last summer as Mrs. Mae Peterson and Sister Mary Lazarus. She dedicates this performance to the memory of her own Grandmas both of whom encouraged her in the arts.
Who’s Who in the Orchestra
Frank Annecchini (Bass) is pleased to join TIP for “Charlie”. He has played bass guitar and guitar for musical productions throughout the metro area for the last 26 years. He sends love and thanks to his family for their support.
Matt Baumler (Keys II) graduated from UMKC with a bachelors in piano performance and a master’s in accounting. He works as
an operations director at a Catholic High School and is a church pianist/organist on the weekends.
Dan Doolittle (Trumpet) Recently retired from 40 years spent teaching in classrooms full of 4th-8th graders, more recently middle school history and geography, Dan has always relished his role as the oldest band geek in the school. Dan is looking forward to the next phase of his life, centering it, with his wife Carolyn, around their two grandsons, who, will most definitely will be playing brass horns some day!

Kim Ico (Violin) is thrilled to play for two TIP shows this year! All love to my partner Shelby, and our pets: Kevin, Gordy, and Baboo.
Patrick McCarty (Drums) currently serves as the Director of Bands at Blue Valley North High School. He has been a freelance percussionist and drum set player for 30 years, performing in groups from Emporia, Lawrence, Omaha, and the Kansas City areas.
Kieran Ojakangas (Cello) is a programmer and cellist that has had a rich background in orchestra pit and ensemble experience. He also enjoys occasionally innovating and composing.
Jennifer Whyte (Reed I) earned a BS in Music Education and a MM in Instrumental Conducting. Currently, she teaches band at Mill Valley High School and is an active performer with the Four States Symphonic Winds.
Who’s Who on the Production Team
Guy Gardner (TIP Associate Artistic Director, Director of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) Having grown up believing Theatre in the Park WAS Broadway, Guy is elated to get to serve as the Associate Artistic Director of the organization. Creating programs like the Theatre Academy, Blue Curtain Project, and Emerging Theatre Professional Initiative, Guy continues his efforts to make Theatre in the Park a place for everyone. This season, another dream comes true as Guy gets to revisit the story of Willy Wonka, which was his first ‘acting gig’ in third grade when he played “Angry Willy Wonka”. Outside of TIP, Guy gets to continue using his imagination working on events like the Symphony in the Flint Hills, the American Royal World Series of Barbecue, and so many more. Join us at Theatre in the Park for a show, grab some popcorn, and enjoy life for awhile!

Ryann Hill (Stage Manager) is thrilled to join this team as the Production Stage Manager! This is Ryann’s first TIP show. Ryann is a Stage Manager, Lighting Designer, Sound Technician, and theatre generalist operating in the Kansas City area. Recent Credits include Curious Incident (The White Theatre), Hairspray (The White Theater), and The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals (Fabled Fox Theatrics). Much love to family and her fiancé, Seth.
While formal training has placed him on stages as an actor, singer, or conductor, John’s guilty pleasure for more than a decade happens backstage, styling productions for live theatre. A self-taught designer, he finds particular joy in wig design/construction. He’s designed shows in KC venues including TIP, New Theatre & Restaurant, the White Theatre, H&R Block City Stage/Union Station, Just Off Broadway, and Unicorn Theatre. Grant Martin (Wardrobe Supervisor) is thrilled to be back outdoors at Theatre in the Park! He has costumed several shows throughout the area his most recents were Bell Road Barn players production of Spitfire Grill or, TIP’s productions of Bye Bye Birdie, Seussical, and Disenchanted. Grant has also recently stage managed productions of Steel Magnolias (TIP), Assassins (OCTA), and Shout! The Mod Musical (TIP). Grant would like to thank his friends, family, cast, crew, and production team for everything.

Sarah Martin (Co-Costume Designer/ Coordinator) is debuting her first Theatre in the Park design! Recently, she designed productions such as Music Man, Addams Family Musical, and Best Hanukkah Show Ever, locally at the J KC! She also designed The Magical Piñata for TIP’s educational program, Blue Curtain Project.
Knox McClendon (Co-Costume Designer/ Coordinator) is a costume designer based
in Kansas City. They hold a Theatre Design BFA from the University of Kansas and are currently the Costume Shop Manager at Washburn University. They have worked at many theaters around Kansas, and are especially passionate about inclusive costume design. This is their first show at TIP, and it has been such a fun process. They hope you enjoy the show!
Hew McKoy (Choreographer) is so excited to be back at their happy place! Wow, while Hew has performed on the Theatre in the Park Stage before, this is the first time they have the opportunity to help tell the story through choreography at TIP! You might have seen them as Patrick in SpongeBob the Musical or Willard in Footloose the musical! Hew would like to thank all the amazing people in their life who has supported their art over the years! They hope you enjoy this sweet show!
Bradley Meyer (Scenic Designer) is a freelance theatre designer, director, and professional educator originally from Des Moines, IA. A lifelong learner, Bradley holds several degrees in education and studied scenic design in the graduate program at UMKC. Edward Poston (Accompanist) is a native of Clearfield, Utah, and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Organ Performance and Organ & Church Music, respectively. Edward has served in many religious denominations as organist and music director in several US states. He is finishing up a Doctorate of Musical Arts at the University of Kansas in Organ & Church Music. Mr. Poston is a burgeoning hymnologist. He previously performed at TIP in 2021 & 2022. He’s glad to be back!
Brady Rose (Sound Designer) has been the resident Sound Designer for Theatre in the Park since 2021, designing all indoor shows and designing and mixing all outdoor shows. Some highlights of his TIP career include Footloose, The SpongeBob Musical, Newsies, and many others. While not working for TIP, Brady is an
Audio Engineer and Production Manager for HMXLive, a unit of Harvest Productions. Sagie Snir (Asst. Stage Manager) is so thrilled to be working on their second production at TIP. Sagie has previously been seen working on productions such as Curious Incident and Hairspray at The White theater at The J as a sound mixer. You might have also seen them at the J backstage swimming around running crew for Little Mermaid. They would also like to thank their biggest supporters their parents and best friend Syd!
Stacey Stofferahn Uthe (Vocal Director) Thrilled to return to TIP on the “other side” as Vocal Music Director for CATCF. Stacey’s first TIP role was Marian in Music Man in 2002, and her first experience as a villain was Velma in Hairspray in 2013! Stacey’s career as a professional opera singer spans 25 years and counting, and is now an Assistant Professor of Voice at MWSU. She lives in KC with husband, Reed Uthe, and 4 cuddly cats. Enjoy!
Josh Taylor (Lighting Designer) moved to Kansas City last summer to join UMKC Conservatory as Lighting Design Faculty. His TIP debut was Steel Magnolias in February. Career highlights include lighting jazz concerts at the Kennedy Center, programming Halloween at the White House, and serving as Production Electrician for the MLB Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony at Glimmerglass Opera each summer.

Jenn Ward (Props Designer) Hailing from a long line of kleptomaniacs, Jennifer has a knack for procuring anything anyone needs for a show. Renowned for crafting “chocolate” that tastes like absolute denial, she’s perfected the art of making epoxy resin lollipops that are sure to crack a tooth. When not knee deep in hot glue and glitter, she is at home with her partner-in-crime Scott, and her bandits Niko and Isaiah, planning their next crime spree.
