Oh Hey! I'm Julia Claire (you can call me JC, most people do). My heart has always been pulled towards helping others in anyway I can. One of the ways I've found to best serve the people placed in my life is through photography-- giving them the ability to remember and hold onto life's most precious moments. I believe that when we struggle (and we all do), having something beautiful and positive to hold onto gives us hope for a better future and grounds us to remember that we can find worthwhile moments in the midst anything that life can throw our way. Memories captured through photography are memories we can reference and remember for the rest of our lives. I've studied and experimented with all things photography for over 5 years and love learning & trying new things, from abstract-styled shoots to your kid's birthday party to untraditional weddings + elopements. I have experience in all types of shoots , so if you've got an idea you think might be too "out there", lay it on me and I bet we can make something work ! I can't wait to meet you & have the opportunity to capture important, memorable moments of your life!

SENIOR SESSIONS
Every senior is different, with different hobbies, accomplishments, plans, dreams, etc. That's why I believe that each senior shoot should help to tell a story of who you are and what represents your journey. I love incorporating different aspects of a senior's life into their photoshoot. If you are passionate about your sport, we'll meet on the field for some action pictures! If you want to bring your dog or your best friend, the more the merrier! These pictures are meant to be looked back on in the future and remind you of the journey you took that will get you to where you are meant to be. I will work with you to plan the perfect shoot, including locations, outfits, times, etc. At the session, I will use different poses and prompts to help get the perfect shots. If you want more of a candid look to your photos (which I adore), bring someone who can make you laugh!

DETERMINING YOUR NEEDS & EXPECTATIONS Every senior is different and has different wishes for their senior pictures. Some seniors want to keep their shoot short and simple with no outfit changes and sticking to one location, while others want to switch up their look throughout the shoot and go to a few different photo-worthy spots (which allows for more photos!). Therefore, I offer different packages that meet different needs. There is a flat fee (which I call the Session Fee) that includes 25 edited images, planning session(s) for your shoot, the reservation of your time (to ensure that I do not book another shoot at the same time), an online gallery of your images that can be downloaded, and print/download rights. When I am done editing the images, I will send them all to you through an online gallery with my watermark on them. After you select the 25 images that you love the most, I will send them to you without the watermark and they will be ready for download and printing! If you wish to upgrade your package and get more photos from the ones that I send at first, we can discuss the different upgrades that I offer.

QUESTION 1-- CONTACT Q: What is the best way to contact you? A: Texting or calling me (812-374-3629) is definitely the quickest way to get ahold of me. You can also email me at info@jclairephotography.com. If I don't answer right away, I will get back with you ASAP.
QUESTION 2-- ASSISTANTS Q: Will you have an assistant? A: I sometimes hire assistants for larger sessions (such as events or weddings), but do not need them for senior sessions. However, a parent/sibling/friend who comes with you for your shoot is always a great addition as they can help you feel more comfortable and make you laugh for genuine, memorable photos. :)
QUESTION 3-- PAYMENT Q: When are payments due? A: I require a 30% retainer fee at the time of signing to reserve your wedding date. I can work with you to set up a payment for the remaining fees. You can also pay the amount in full, if you prefer. All payment(s) are due 2 weeks prior to your session date.
QUESTION 4-- DESIRED SHOTS Q: Can you ensure that you will get each shot from my list? A: My senior sessions include a personal planning session where we will discuss specific and important shots that you are hoping for. Though I cannot 100% guarantee I will be able to get each desired shot (since unexpected schedule changes and other obstacles often arise), I will do my best to get ensure that we get each of your important and valued image ideas.
