My heart has always been pulled towards helping others in anyway I can One of the ways I've found to best serve the people placed in my life is through photography giving them the ability to remember and hold onto life's most precious moments I believe that when we struggle (and we all do), having something beautiful and positive to hold onto gives us hope for a better future and grounds us to remember that we can find worthwhile moments in the midst anything that life can throw our way Memories captured through photography are memories we can reference and remember for the rest of our lives.

I've studied and experimented with all things photography for over 5 years and love learning & trying new things, from abstract styled shoots to your kid's birthday party to untraditional weddings + elopements. I have experience in all types of shoots , so if you've got an idea you think might be too "out there", lay it on me and I bet we can make something work !

While we want to avoid everyone wearing the exact same outfit/items of clothing, putting some thought into what everyone will wear can make a big difference in the outcome of the photos Sticking with a general color scheme/vibe for the outfits is a great idea.
Disclaimer: I would never tell anyone how to parent. That being said, a little bribing goes a looong way for a photoshoot Trust me, I've seen it Telling kids that you'll take them for ice cream or they can have 15 extra minutes of TV time brings some of the biggest smiles for photos that we could hope for
I will gladly help with the outfit planning if you'd like, you can always text me your ideas and I'll let you know what I think! prep tips
Lastly, having someone in the background (behind me) helping to make kiddos laugh or feel more comfortable is always beneficial If there is a family member or friend present at the shoot that isn't in the shot, asking them to help out with the pictures that the kids are in is always a great idea!
We'll make the photoshoot as fun and light as possible, helping your children to enjoy the session rather than get anxious or unsure of the situation. There will be times I may tell everyone to ignore me or tickle each other or some type of prompt to bring candid, real moments; which can help to ease any tension as well If your children are old enough, explain to them what we will be doing so they aren't confused as to what is happening.
MEETING YOUR NEEDS & EXPECTATIONS
Every family is different and has different needs and wishes for their sessions. Some families want to keep their shoot short and simple with only group pictures while others value having photos of all individual families, children/siblings, couples, different pairs, etc. Therefore, I offer different packages that meet fulfill different needs.

Additional images (package upgrades) require a fee as I spend many hours editing each album to ensure that your photos are of high quality and match what you have seen of my work When I am done editing the images, I will send them all to you through an online gallery with my watermark on them. After you select the 20 (of more) images that you love the most, I will send them to you without the watermark and they will be ready for download and printing!
There is a flat fee (which I call the Session Fee) that includes 20 edited images, a planning session for your shoot, the reservation of your session (to ensure that I do not book another shoot at the same agreed upon time and date), an online gallery of your images that can be downloaded, and print/download rights If you wish to upgrade and get more photos from the ones that I send for you to look through, you can choose an upgrade package and receive additional photos

A: I sometimes hire assistants for larger sessions (such as events or weddings), but do not need them for family/lifestyle sessions However, a parent/sibling/friend who comes with you for your shoot is always a great addition as they can help you feel more comfortable and make you laugh for genuine, memorable photos :) QUESTION 3 PAYMENT Q: When are payments due? A: I require a 30% retainer fee at the time of signing the contract to reserve your session date I can work with you to set up a payment for the remaining fees You can also pay the amount in full at the time of signing, if you prefer The entire Session Fee ($300) is due 1 week prior to your session date If you choose an upgrade package, the additional payment is due before any images are delivered without the watermark QUESTION 4 DESIRED SHOTS Q: Can you ensure that you will get each shot from my list? A: All of my sessions include a personal planning session where we will discuss specific and important shots that you are hoping for. Though I cannot 100% guarantee I will be able to get each desired shot (since unexpected schedule changes and other obstacles often arise), I will do my best to get ensure that we get each of your important and valued image ideas
