Supposed to be just another work day, but the 28 of us seized the opportunity to explore and learn about the key to successful business from a humble businessman and had ourselves fueled with tremendous inspiration and new heights.
On August 19,2022, JCI Bandar Klang co-hosted with Kelab Belia Kajang Prima to conduct a s-hours corporate visit at one of the largest Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) companies in l\4alaysia and Southeast Asia, Proguard Technologies. This initiative gathered 28 participants to connect with one another and with some of the key stakeholders from the company.
The corporate visit was led by the founder, Dato'Lee Ngai l\4un and his team. lt started off with touring around the company's (Proguard Technology) production floor, then the warehouse, management office, R&D room and lastly, the entertainment floor. All 28 participants witnessed all the stages of producing various safety products - from how its prototypes are first being tested to manufacturing them from raw materials, assembling parts, quality controlling, packing and warehousing. Along the tour, the participants actively asked questions for more learning. The founder shared a lot of his insights and recommendations on business, the lessons he learnt throughout his founding experience, his business model, mindset, management style, his hardships and how he overcame them. Ending the tour with a casual business networking session, the founder also presented a deck of the company s management structure, business overviews, meaningful CSR projects and more.
The EBC Corporate Visit to Proguard Technologies, an initiative by JCI Bandar Klang was a valuable experience to all. The visit not only helps the participants (including JCI members) to learn, but to expose themselves into understanding the key to building success. The initiative plays an important role in making learning and spreading good values a lifelong mission.

"Boyl Stop it, I am busy with my work." or maybe this "Why can not you just listen to what I said?"
Have you heard or raised your voice to your kids due to some small matter? Sometimes, is due to working stress or some issue that affected our emotion without us knowing. And we tend to raise our voice to our kids, where they did not understand what is going on.
JCI Bandar Klang hosted a parents and kids event with co-host partner Jenjarom Kidoasis Education Centre. We invited professional clinical psychotherapist, l\4iss Sindy, to be our speaker of the day. The objective of this program is to let parents know more about how to use love and care more about their children's spiritual feelings. Also a better way to understand their kids without throwing temper at the little children.
While the parents are learning from the speaker, N4s Sindy, the kids were having fun colouring their own tote bags.
We know that, sometimes children love to play around and without realising they are verbally or physically bully thier friends. So, besides colouring session, we delivered and educated the children of loving each other as a friend where our flagship project Buddy Not Bully is emphasing on. But how we did it?
By using simple method, which the kids are drawing their friend something good and positive as a gift.
All kids used their imagination and creativity to make the best drawing for their friend and they share what picture of themself before sending to their friend.
It is such a meaningful event and the parents learned alot from our speaker. A "Little More Care" actually can make a huge dlfferent.

Have you ever thought of in 2 hours, we managed to collect 593KG of rubbish?
On 13-08-2022, JCI Bandar Klang had organised a plogging event with l\4r Low Kwee Siang, l\4ajlis Pembandaran Klang Councillor of N45A.
What does plogging means?
Actually plogging is a combination of jogging and plocka upp, in Swedish it means "to pick up,".
Therefore, plogging entails jogging and quickly stopping to pick up trash while you go. And it has been started in year of 2016.
JCI Bandar Klang implement this awesome idea to educate the public on picking up rubbish when we see it during jogging or walking, to keep Klang a better and cleaner city.
Beside, in conjunction of moving forward to the direction of making Klang a healthy and prosperous city.
To keep our community healthy and active, we had invited aerobic instructor to lead the aerobic exercise for nearly t hour. Where we believe nowadays, people are spending less time on exercise due to busy and tight schedule.
Specially thanks to JCI Bandar Setia, Selangor Kim l\4ooi Association and Persatuan Keturunan Lee Daerah Klang working together to make this event so successful. We managed to gathered 200 warriors to join our event and collected 593KG of rubbish which consist of recycle and non- recyclable rubbish.
Participants from all age group.ioined this event and contributed to make Klang a cleaner and better town.
We are looking forward for more plogging event with the local community in future.

Do you know in year 2020, it was reported 49,000 people in l\4alaysia were estimated by New Strait Times newspaper, about to be newly-diagnosed with cancer.
We always say prevention is better than cure. JCI Bandar Klang was one of the supporting partner to run the "Screen To Be Sure" by Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
The objective of this event is to raise awareness and introduce a cancer screening to the community as it is the most effective method to prevent cancer.
During the event, radio FN4 deejay and local artist were at the event to take part in this awareness event. Besides, the organiser had done a cancer warriors fashion show and also a cancer survivor forum session with Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur doctors. lt is a very meaningful event because this motivate and encourage the cancer patients to stay positive and they are not alone in the road battling against cancer
JCI Bandar Klang appreciated to be supporting partner for this meaningful event. And we hope the public take the initiative to have a cancer screening for part of cancer prevention.
