My plan on gun control is to encourage congress to take action as soon as possible. Guns need to be regulated in this country. You always hear news about shootings in Chicago and people just take it as a normal thing when it shouldn’t. It can turn into a bigger battlefield than it already is if these guns keep getting sold to the wrong people. Kids are being taught how to hide from school shooters before they even learn to read. I have been to so many funerals of victims from shootings and hugged so many mothers, I felt their pain. There were 22 people in El Paso, Texas that lost their life due to a person with bad intentions having a gun. In my life I have prosecuted several people for crimes and I know what this criminal would get for his terrible actions. The way I am going to regulate guns is that every gun salesperson do a mandatory background check on every weapon sold. I will give congress 100 days for a law like this to be passed. If such a task isn’t completed within those 100 days, I will make an executive order making background checks mandatory. I will also stop the importing of weapons into the United States.
