The JA Classic has earned a well-deserved reputation as the premier golf event in Central New England. From the moment you arrive at the beautiful Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, Connecticut, you and your guests will see that the JA Classic is a different kind of day.

It begins when you pull in the driveway at Tumble Brook Country Club and are promptly welcomed by our staff. Once again this year you will have the opportunity to shop from the comfort of your own home ahead of the tournament. Browse the product catalog and leisurely make your selections from Adidas, Taylor Made, Titleist, and others! Upon arrival you will recieve your items and have the opportunity to choose an additional complimentary Vineyard Vines gift. You will then be treated to a sumptuous breakfast on the Patio. Following breakfast, test your skills at the putting contest or warm up on the driving range. Shotgun tee-off is at 10 o’clock.

Bid on auction items throughout the day and enjoy on-course amenities including a cigar bar, on-course barbecue, and beverage bars. After your day of golf, join us back on the patio for the awards ceremony and reception.

From the very first tournament twenty-four years ago, the JA Classic has been legendary for its high level of customer service, the prestigious group of golfers and the overall quality of the golfing experience. Though we’ve had to make a few adjustments due to COVID-19, our goal remains the same – providing you with a day of golf you’ll never forget!

Choose between Best Ball or Scramble

Junior Achievement believes the key to resolving educational and wealth disparities is directly linking resources to need. Specific to JA, this centers on addressing gaps in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship by connecting students to the local business community.

New this year for the first time, the JA Classic is offering the choice between the traditional four ball, best-ball tournament and a scramble. Foursomes will make their selection upon registration.

In partnership with our volunteers, JA provides robust support for students navigating the employment landscape in fields and industries previously unknown or seen as unattainable to them.

With over 30 proven programs for K-12 students across Connecticut, JA has become a trusted partner for educators by increasing access to impactful programming and better life outcomes.

To make for a more user-friendly and seamless registration process, we are also introducing online foursome registration through the Golf Genius platform.

The tournament will be directed by the professional golf staff of Tumble Brook Country Club. Awards will be presented in low gross and low net categories for both best ball and scramble. In addition, there are longest-drive, closest-to-thepin and putting contests – for both men and women.

Mulligan Packages will be available for $50 which include three mulligans, five drawing tickets, putting contest entry, and chipping contest entry.
