BUSINESS CASE THE CHALLENGE In 2005, Banco Primus was born through the hand of 3 entrepreneurs with a large experience in the Portuguese Financial Industry: Pedro Líbano Monteiro, João Cunha Rosa and Gonçalo Conceição. It was vital to have the right team from the beginning. Therefore, Jason Associates was invited to support Banco Primus build the bank’s team, recruiting all the management positions (about 11 different roles), as well as other critical positions (about 10 others).

Founded in 2005 in Lisbon, Portugal, Banco Primus specializes in innovative financing solutions for individuals and entrepreneurs, such as debt restructuring and capital raising.

After 3 years, due to their success, Banco Primus as been bought by Crédit Foncier (85%). Crédit Foncier is market leader in house loans in France and part of Groupe Caisse d’ Epargne (one of the biggest banks in France).
