Today, there are more and more people who are choosing to start their own business and become their own bosses.

It is in my eyes a very bold and beautiful decision which could potentially help you lead a very blissful and prosperous lifestyle. The modern woman finally has the choice of being at home more while still working and earning a great income! I don’t think there has ever been a better time for us to be alive than now and if you are a woman reading this, if starting a home business has been on your mind and you’ve found it quite appealing yet still don’t know if to really go for it, I wish to encourage you forward because I know it could easily be one of the best decisions of your life.

Currently a great number of both men and women are fed up of their 9 – 5 jobs and are seeing home business ventures as a great way of enabling them to quit “the job I hate!”

Here’s the thing though, if that is the only reason you want to start a home based digital business, you’ll probably get discouraged sooner rather than later because it’s actually one of the worst motivators to have as your reason for starting something new. You might wonder why I would say this if I am here to show you how to get started with a home business but I promise you, understanding and gaining the right approach before you jump in, could very well mark the difference between your thriving lifestyle and yet another struggling repeat of what you’ve had in the past.

To avoid that trap that many continue to fall into, I will share with you a few things before revealing some of the major steps to take before starting a home based digital business that actually works.

Few Reasons why many don’t succeed in this area:

One the main reasons is that they just don’t garner enough courage and discipline to start moving in the direction of setting up a good home based business. They just don’t commit to the process of being an entrepreneur and the details that it entails.

You see, it’s not just about having the money to start, especially not in the emerging digital economy, there’s more to it than just having funds or the idea in your head. Did you know that companies like Apple, Mary Kay Cosmetics and Ford Motor Company were all started as a home based business? I was amazed to discover how many of the big successful business that I know and admire today actually started from home. And you know what that means for you? That you can do it too! As long as you get your butt moving in the right direction and just keep going.

Another reason is because as mentioned before, most people are getting into entrepreneurship and home based digital businesses as an “easy way out” kind of approach or even worse – for the money. So let me make like easy for you and save you a lot of wasted time and energy… If you want an easy way out, a home based digital business is not for you . If you want a get rich quick scheme, entrepreneurship or a good and credible home based digital business is also not for you.

Those shenanigans you find all over the web telling you about a quick buck or a million dollars in your account in three months are just as useless as the yoyo diets and 14-day belly fat destroyer diets people try and sell you..

Please stop falling for that crap ( and usually I don’t even curse but this time it’s essential). It will waste your time and energy and train your brain into negativity long term.

Now let me help you with some of the key steps you need to start taking in order to research and start an awesome home based digital business.

What steps must you take to get started with a home based digital business?

Aside from the legal issues which you can easily find out based on your local government regulations etc for registering yourself and so on, the main steps are:

❁Asking the big question: I know a lot of people think this is secondary and can be skipped over, but I promise you – it’s crucial to this journey you’re choosing to take. What’s the big question?

Is this really my desire? Do I really desire to have a home based digital business? Is that where my heart is settled?

Take some time to go over this deeply and with much vulnerability because you want to make sure it’s a true desire.

❁Find Out Your Big Why: Of course when you’ve answered the big question, this second part comes naturally and it’s imperative that you spend some intimate time with yourself figuring out the “why” that’s driving this decision. Most human beings are

driven by fear or greed in life – both perfect recipes for disaster. So far we can see all across the globe how success that isn’t based on a good foundation painfully collapses. I don’t want that to be your life story or your childs’. But you need to be the role model they can look up to so spend some time really gaining clarity on your big why.

Because I hate what I do now, because I hate my job, because I need money, because I need fame might all be justified reasons but they suck and will only land you on the usual rat race that humanity has been stuck in for decades. It’s time you create holistic success that ever increases and beautifies your world in every conceivable way. When you’ve found your big why, now you have the drive it takes to get started with that home business idea.

❁Evict Those Limiting Beliefs and Doubts: The first thing you want to understand is that anyone can do this… And yes, I am talking to you You can do this! But not with that current mindset that doubts and feels insecure. some people come to me and say, “ I just don’t think I can do it” , or some people say “it’s so hard” or “some say my idea isn’t profitable” etc. Let me tell you what I tell my daughter: “Those who say it can’t be done only do so to try and protect you because in their ignorance or misalignment, they weren’t able to do it.”

You see everyone measures what is possible based on their level of awareness and the kind of mindset they’ve got running their life. Besides,these people who try and make you wrong or unrealistic are only demonstrating their own limiting beliefs. So let me state it again – you can do this and the only reason the beliefs, fears and obstacles will try and hold you back is because you haven’t invested you time, energy and even money in the remodelling and retraining of your mind. In case you didn’t know, your mindset is the determining factor in this or any kind of success.

❁Loose the “I can’t” Attitude and get the “I can” Attitude: That says it all I think. Those who look for get rich quick schemes and stuff like that only do so because they secretly carry the belief of inadequacy. When you don’t trust in your own abilities, when you don’t have enough confidence that you can figure stuff out no matter what, your chances of having the I can attitude and actually seeing things through are very slim. If you ask any successful individual, they’ll often tell you that they just believe and walk with an unshakeable “I can” wherever they go. What about you?

❁Be prepared to put in the work necessary: This is crucial to know. Having a home based digital business doesn’t mean that you just switch on your computer press some keys on it and money just mysteriously shows up yes I know silly marketers make you think that, and I honestly think most of them mean well. They just think that’s what you want to hear and all they care about is making that sale. But the truth is, we live in a law based universe. Everything works by law including the beating of your heart…. So your income and thriving business is also working by certain laws one of them being the law of cause and effect. For now just understand that the rewards of having a home based digital business lifestyle are so many and totally awesome but there is work that goes into that first. The same way water will boil once you put on the fire, your digital business will thrive as long as you’re switching on the fire – if you get my little metaphor

❁Figure out your primary point of expression:

Coming from your answer to “the big question” that we started with as well as your big why, you now have an idea of how and what you want to express in this world. You’ve figured out your gift, now your ready to share it and put it to good use, great! Focus in one specific area where you enjoy being of service and as I said before, all this comes effortlessly if you’ve honed down your desire and big why. I don’t suggest you try to please and serve everyone, that’s just going to drain you but there’s a specific group of people that would just love you for who you are and the genuine service or product that you offer. Find those ones, how will you know? Trust me, you’ll know just don’t try to complicate it like most people do.

❁Team up and surround yourself with the right education and community: Realize that surrounding yourself with people who uplift you, help you grow, support what you do and encourage you during your process is essential especially for us because becoming entrepreneurs means you get to enhance your discipline, organisation skills and master juggling different things at the same time. As women, our lives include taking care of a home, children, spouses and lovers, pets and so on. There’s a lot and to be honest we are simply awesome these work?
