Fischbacher 1819’s wallpaper collections are inspired by the colours, patterns and textures of our luxurious furnishing fabrics. Designed with the utmost care, our wallpapers offer a large variety of designs that give every room a distinctive identity. With textile, non-woven and vinyl wallpapers, Fischbacher 1819 offers a variety of qualities, from matt paper to three-dimensional vinyl embossing and shimmering metallic textile surfaces.
Our vinyl wallpapers combine aesthetics with high functionality. The embossed vinyl on a non-woven base is hard-wearing, colourfast and guarantees excellent stability. The wallpapers from Fischbacher 1819 are characterised by their lightfastness, scratch resistance and easy maintenance. If necessary, the wallpaper can be removed without leaving any residue. We offer special sizes on request in order to achieve optimum adaptation to the available space.

The NEWTOPIA wallpaper represents a jungle-like landscape pictured in precise detail. The pattern shows a dreamy imaginary world with motifs borrowed from the digital archives of the Rijksmuseum and New York Public Library. The fantasy image shows a landscape reaching for the sky and simultaneously reflected in a lake.

Kotori
KOTORI means ‘little bird’. Many of the individual elements which feature in KOTORI –such as the birds and flowers – traditionally have special meanings in Japan. The most famous of these is the crane, which symbolises a long and happy life. The floral motifs which appear in KOTORI – such as the lotus flower, cherry blossom and pine branches – are also positive symbols of good luck and prosperity.

The floral print design of SO AVANTGARDENING forms a bridge between different artists from different eras. Drawings and paintings from the archives of the Rijksmuseum and the New York Public Library served as sources of creative inspiration. The Fischbacher 1819 design studio captured the key integral elements of these artworks, composed them anew, and used a digital, photographic collage to narrate a fascinating story on fabric and wallcovering. The intense, colourful pattern repeat is displayed on a background of cream and dark blue. The graphically stylised peacock-feather elements evoke the Art Deco era. There is an enchanted garden that draws you into a voyage of discovery.

The PALMERIA design takes up elements of NEWTOPIA. The design represents a blend of various treetops that form the canopy of a dense jungle. PALMERIA is available in green and grey. The pattern is executed in a digital print on a high-quality vinylcoated non-woven base. The design is available in 212 cm width and 280 cm height, divided into two lengths, as a standard.

Kiondo
The aesthetics of traditional basket bags are reflected in the KIONDO design, but interpreted in a much more abstract way. On the wall, the graphic pattern also evokes associations with Art Deco style elements. The shiny satin weave of the textile that was the inspiration for the wallpaper has been transferred into a metallic print which contrasts with the matt background.

Kwazulu
The rich vegetation of the South African KwaZulu-Natal province inspired the intricate jungle design KWAZULU, which was drawn by hand in the company’s design studio. Its pared-down monochrome look makes a calm, clear statement.

The hand-painted design SALONGA creates an imaginative jungle and turns the viewer into an explorer. The panel stretches over a width of 348 cm and a height of 300 cm. It can be used endlessly or adorn the wall like a large painting.
The colour of the luxurious textile wallpaper changes with the light conditions, sometimes appearing matt, sometimes with a metallic glint. Developed in two colourways, the large-scale motif appears playful and sophisticated in equal measure.
