What does it mean to be a JADE’s Manager? As a Manager, you will work on a JADE project or area, aiming to develop and improve the European JE network. You will work under the guidance of the ExBo member responsible for your department, being part of JADE team and involved in JADE’s daily challenges. Anton is always very precise in his work, planning and working on a methodical approach. He always tries to look for new challenges to maximize the impact he can bring to the team.
Florian is a team worker, always finding a way to make everyone comfortable and included. Besides that, he is a strategic thinker.

As a Project Manager for Events, you will work on the organisation of the JADE Spring Conference 2020. You will live in the JADE Headquarters in Brussels, working side-by-side with the JADE Team. Leading the organisation of the most important European Junior Enterprise Network event will be both challenging and rewarding. You will work on different fields, from logistics to IT or participants management, developing many different skills. Are you good at planning, organising, managing and coordinating? Then this position is for you.

> Organise an international well recognised event with more than 400 people > Coordinate a staff team of 14 people > Key contact with venues’ providers and suppliers > Bridge between JADE team and JSC participants > Represent JADE towards different stakeholders > Manage the event’s budget

Communication Manager 2019 While seeing my academic life coming to an end and knowing that soon I was going to have to leave my National Confederation and my Junior Enterprise, I was sure that I wasn’t ready to leave this incredible Network behind quite yet! I wanted to commit to it one last time before moving on to the “grown ups” life. So I took the challenge to join five amazing people in Brussels for a year to work to improve and develop our Network. Positions aside, this was the year where I felt I learned and grew the most, met so many different people from different backgrounds and cultures, and for sure, will take this experience in my heart for the rest of my life!

3. Where to Work
Brussels or Remotely?

Working in Brussels Brussels is an old European city with lovely parks and secret little streets. You can find a wide variety of cultural activities and many international people. The HQ in Brussels, the capital of Europe, helps JADE to be closer to the European Institutions and some other international Headquarters of companies, which support our Network. The geographic location makes travelling around Europe really convenient. As a Manager, some positions come with moving to Brussels, work and live in JADE HQ. The house has one floor with the office and the rest of the floors are set up for living. During the stay in JADE HQ, the Team members have to share the space with other people, who also work and live there (ExBo and other Managers).

How to finance this experience? Your activities in JADE are recognised as an internship abroad and in many countries you can apply therefore for different grants, e.g. Erasmus+. #5 __ Managers training weekend in Brussels. (mandatory attendance)
__ What is the Managers Training weekend?
6th-8th of September
You will attend both general training sessions on the way JADE works and on specific topics related to your future functions as Manager. Moreover, you will have the opportunity of meeting the other Managers and to be integrated in JADE team.
