Carter Painter is a graduate of Copley High School in Copley, Ohio and the son of Chris and Daphine Painter. Carter has been a member of Jack and Jill for ten years and has served as Teen President. Carter is a gymnast and dancer who became the 2021 Regional Champion in dance representing Creative Motions Dance Studio. Carter designs and sells cell phone cases for his business Cases by Carter. He’s had over 10 million views on social media and over 150,000 supporters. Carter will major in business with a minor in dance at Kent State University.

Dillon Weems is a graduate of St. Vincent - St. Mary High School in Akron, OH and is the son of Latoria and Eugene Weems. He has been a member of the Akron Chapter for 7 years. Dillon has given back to his community by donating masks to a local homeless shelter, donating hair care products to a women’s shelter and donating toys to Toys for Tots. He has also volunteered at the food bank. Dillon has decided to attend The Ohio State University where he will major in Computer Science and Engineering.

Mashod Evans Jr is a senior at Huron High School in Ann Arbor, MI and is the son of Reverend and Mrs. Mashod & Leslie Evans. Mashod is active in his church and serves as President of the Young Peoples and Children’s Division at Bethel AME Church. He is active in school activities including the Marching Band and Orchestra. Mashod’s volunteer activities are extensive, most significantly, annual service trips to Belize City, Belize. He is looking forward to attending Hampton University in the Fall where he will major in Business Management or Music Performance.

Bryce Mayo hails from the Central Kentucky Chapter as a senior at Lafayette High School, and a Contemporary Dance major at the School for the Creative and Performing Arts. Bryce is proud to hold a 5.0 GPA, and be ranked number 3 in her class of over 500 students. Bryce has also been a member of the competitive dance team at Diana Evans School of Dance since 2017, and is also proud to be a founding member of Lexington’s first African American Ballet Troupe. When Bryce isn’t dancing, she is a member of several clubs and community groups, two of which being Lafayette Head Council and her chapter of Jack and Jill of America, serving as Vice President and President, respectively. Other organizations Bryce is a member of include Math, Science, French, and the National honor societies, as well as Lafayette’s Beta Club and Black Student Union. Some of Bryce’s biggest achievements are being an alumna of both the Governor’s School for the Arts (2021), and the Governor’s Scholars Program (2022). After graduation, Bryce plans on attending college as a psychology major, studying on a pre-medicine track to become a psychiatrist.

Makari Danné Murphy is a senior at Bryan Station High School in Lexington, Kentucky and is the daughter of Daniel and Melissa Murphy. She has been a member of the Central Kentucky Chapter for eight years. Makari has been active in her community through delivering meals to elders at church, making greeting cards for nursing home residents and veterans. Makari plans to attend the University of Kentucky where she will major in Social Work, her future plans are to become a licensed clinical social worker and therapist. Makari wants to be a therapist specializing in therapy for children and adolescents.

Xavier Routt is a senior in the Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High School in Lexington, Kentucky. He is the son of Thalethia and Randall Routt and brother to Gabrielle Routt. He has been a member of the Central KY Chapter for five years. Through Jack and Jill and other organizations, Xavier gives back to his community and understands the value of service. Xavier plans on attending a four-year institution to major in mechanical engineering with a minor in digital photography. His ultimate career goal is to own an auto shop specializing in luxury cars, like BMWs, etc.

Hillary Paige Thompson is a senior in the Biomedical Science Academy at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington, KY and is the daughter of Myron and Yvette Thompson. She has been a member of the Central KY Chapter for nine years. She holds a 4.6 weighted GPA while taking numerous college-level and Advanced Placement courses. Hillary is a part-time employee at Bed, Bath & Beyond, while also completing a medical internship with Bluegrass Orthopedics. Throughout high school, she has earned numerous awards and recognitions for outstanding scholarly achievement such as being named an Advanced Placement Scholar and being a part of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Beta Club to name a few. Hillary was a 2022 participant in the Jills Take Spelman Leadership Institute at Spelman College. Her career goals are to earn a BS in Biomedical Engineering and a Ph.D. and M.D. in the field of medicine, specializing in Dermatology. Hillary has not made her final decision as to where she will attend college in the fall.

Warren Kelvin Wilson, III is a senior at Lafayette High School in Lexington, KY. He is the son of Warren and Alicia Wilson. He is a member of the Central Kentucky chapter of Jack and Jill. Warren is in the pre-engineering program, captain of the baseball team and a member of the football team, Kappa Klub and Brotherhood. He is still undecided on where he will attend college; however, he plans to major in agricultural engineering. Warren’s college goals include playing baseball and participating in study abroad opportunities. This summer Warren plans to publish his first youth sports recovery devotional.

Folasade Adeoye is a senior at De La Salle Institute in Chicago, and is the daughter of Martins and Shawn Adeoye. She has been a Chicago Chapter member for fifteen years. Sade is currently Teen Service Chair with over 150 completed community service hours. She has 400+ hours in production experience as a theater member. She is President of the De La Salle Thespian Society, Brother J. Rush National Honor Society chapter secretary, Gems Black Student Alliance founder, and Author of the Children’s Book Sunny’s Purpose. Sade is undecided, but hopes to major in Business and English or Creative Writing.

Nicholaus J.O. Asiyanbi is a senior at Kenwood Academy in Chicago, IL and is the son of Charles and Lynn Asiyanbi. He has been a member of The Chicago Chapter for eleven years. Nicholaus is a former Teen Treasurer and has completed more than 100 service hours. He is captain of the Kenwood Varsity Baseball Team, a member of the National Honor Society, a University of Iowa Tippie Gateway School of Business Scholar (Summer 2022), manages his own profitable investment portfolio and is a member of St. Mark UMC. Nicholaus is undecided in the institution he will matriculate to yet aspires to pursue a double major in Finance and Industrial Engineering, with hopes to excel in Investment Banking.

Asim Heru Trent Baraka is a senior at The Chicago Academy for the Arts, and is the son of Maryka Trent Baraka. He has been a Chicago Chapter member for two years, and was a Greater Champaign-Urbana Chapter member in the Central Region for four years. Asim is his school’s Black Student Union leader, and devotes time to performing arts preprofessional training. In 2022, Asim was an August Wilson Monologue Competition finalist at Goodman Theatre, and won first place at the TLC Oratorical Competition. Asim plans to major in musical theater to pursue a multi-hyphenate entertainment industry career.

Deric Bomar II is a senior at Oak Park River Forest High School in Oak Park, Illinois and is the son of Deric and Valarie Bomar. He has been a member of The Chicago Chapter for thirteen years. Deric has a brother Dylan who is also a member of The Chicago Chapter. Deric has participated in several Jack and Jill community service projects as well as service projects outside of Jack and Jill. He enjoys traveling, hanging out with his friends, and simply having fun. Deric participated in basketball and football teams as a Freshman, but opted not to continue his sports activities. Notwithstanding, Deric is a fierce competitor with a winning attitude. Deric intends to pursue his dream of being an entrepreneur and owning his own business upon graduation.

Christopher Childers is a graduating senior at Jones College Prep (JCP) in Chicago, Illinois and is the son of Chris and Danita Childers. He has been a member of the Chicago Chapter of Jack and Jill for fifteen years and served as Teen Treasurer from 2020-2021. Christopher is a member of the JCP Student Government Association and serves as student body vice president. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the National English Honor Society, the Varsity Basketball team, the Black Student Union and Best Buddies. Christopher plans to attend the University of Illinois UrbanaChampaign where he has been awarded the President’s Award and the Gies College of Business scholarship. He plans to pursue a degree in finance.

Michael Collins Jr. is a senior at St. Rita of Cascia High School in Chicago, Illinois and is the son of Mr. Michael and Dr. Irsenia Norfleet-Collins. He has been a member of the Chicago Chapter for twelve years. His athletic involvement during his four years included football, basketball and track. When not competing athletically, he was involved in his high school’s ministry as well as serving as a volunteer within his community. Collegiately, he will major in political science and aspires to become a federal judge.

Lauren Robinson is a graduate of Jones College Prep in Chicago, IL and is the daughter of Dr. Sam Robinson and Mrs. Carla Robinson. She has been a member of the Chicago Chapter for fifteen years and served as the Teen Legislative Chair and Foundation Chair. In her school, Lauren served as Chapter Secretary of the National Honor Society and participated in musical theater, varsity golf, and a capella. Lauren has placed nationally in entrepreneurship and public speaking competitions. She co-authored a book and has spoken extensively on STEM entrepreneurship. Lauren is a member and volunteer at Trinity United Church of Christ.

Lauren thoroughly enjoys singing a range of genres including classical, gospel, R&B, and musical theater. Having a passion for research, Lauren has participated in biomedical research at top university labs, and recently completed her own independent research on circadian rhythm and breast milk antibodies.

Lauren plans to major in biomedical engineering and pursue a career in Immunoengineering research where she hopes to develop solutions for allergies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions affected by the immune system. Lauren was admitted to the University of Chicago molecular engineering program and the Johns Hopkins biomedical engineering program.

Kennedy Nicole Ross is the daughter of Kenneth and Nicole Ross. Kennedy is a senior at Lindblom Math and Science Academy where she is a member of the National Honor Society and has a 4.6 GPA. Kennedy is the captain of the track team, Vice President of the Black Student Union, Student Council Vice-President, Logistics Chair of Students with A Purpose and Captain of the Lindblom Dance Ensemble. She is also the current President of the Chicago Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is the current city champion for the 100M Hurdles and is a Junior Olympic All American, ranked 6th in the country for 100M Hurdles. Kennedy is a lifelong member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, where she has participated in the dance ministry, youth group and choir. Kennedy plans to attend Howard University, where she will major in Forensic Psychology, with a career goal of joining the FBI or pursuing a career in politics.

Myles Stewart is a senior at DePaul College Prep in Chicago, Illinois and the son of Paul and Kristian Stewart. A member of The Chicago Chapter for fourteen years, he has served as Teen Nominating Committee Chair and completed over 100 hours of community service. He’s a Varsity Men’s Basketball Captain, Student Council Representative, Black Student Union Executive Officer, and Student Ambassador. Myles is a National College Board African American Recognition awardee, National Honor Society member, and Northwestern University Health Professions Recruitment & Exposure Program graduate. Myles will attend Vassar College, continuing his academic & athletic career, and major in Sociology/Pre-Med.

Layla Stubbs is a senior at Kenwood Academy High School in Chicago, IL and is the daughter of Wonda Montgomery and Larry Stubbs. She has been a member of the Jack and Jill Chicago Chapter for six years. Layla is Teen Historian and has over 100 community service hours. Layla is a choreographer, a member of the National Honor Society, Black Is Gold, the Kenwood Dance Project and a service club called Really Rich Cares. Layla plans to attend Spelman College where she will major in Computer Science and her goal is to work for Google as a software engineer.

Matthew M. Woodfolk II is a senior at Wolcott College Preparatory in Chicago, Illinois and the son of Matthew and Anita Woodfolk. He has been a member of the Chicago Chapter for seven years. Matthew is Teen Chaplain, Nominating Co-chair and has completed over 150 community service hours. He is the president of his Black Student Union, member of National Honor Society, head manager of the Wolcott varsity basketball team, and former secretary and treasurer of student government. Matthew is currently undecided but plans to attend an HBCU, where he will major in international business with a minor in religion.

Kyle Fitzgerald is a senior at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio and is the son of Brian and Marcy Fitzgerald. He has been a member of Jack and Jill for fifteen years and has served as the Teen Foundation Chair. Kyle played varsity football at St. Xavier and currently serves as a Bomber Pilot/freshman mentor. He will attend Florida A&M University and major in business administration. Kyle will also be a member of the football team at Florida A&M.

Sydney Frost is a senior at Indian Hill High School and is the daughter of Damon and Karyn Frost. She has been a member of the Cincinnati Chapter for eight years and served as the Recording Secretary for two. Sydney has a passion for the Arts and is heavily involved in Musical Theater Arts at school. She has received many accolades, including Ohio All State Choir and other leadership awards. She enjoys introducing younger kids to the arts and has volunteered as a counselor every summer while she was in high school. She currently serves as Head of Outreach for an Arts focused non-profit organization (Power of Music) that she helped create in high school.

Joshua Fussell is a senior at Lakota West High School in West Chester, OH and is the son of Jerry Fussell and Tammy Fussell. Joshua has been a member of the Cincinnati Chapter for seven years, as well as the Northwest Arkansas Chapter as a charter family. Joshua has served on the chapter’s teen executive board for several years and is currently the chaplain. As a student-athlete, Joshua has lettered in football, basketball, and track with academic honors, including 1st team conference and state football recognition. He enjoys volunteering at his church as part of the youth ministry. Joshua will attend Northwestern University on a football scholarship and pursue a career in sports management.

Sarah Christina Hall is a senior at Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati, OH and is the daughter of Darin Hall, and Agnes Godwin Hall. She has been a member of Jack and Jill in both the Atlanta, and Cincinnati Chapters for fourteen years. At Walnut Hills, she is a member of the Chamber Choir and Vocal Ensemble. She has decided to attend Clark Atlanta University where she will major in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in film.

Reagan Heard is a senior at Summit Country Day school in Cincinnati, Ohio and is the daughter of Melvyn and Nicole Heard. She has been a member of the Cincinnati Chapter for twelve years. Reagan volunteers at “Tutor Teens” and tutors a member of the National Honor Society through her school, packs and delivers meals and birthday gifts for elderly locally through Meals on Wheels, and this past summer worked with Cincinnati Pride week. She has not decided on a University as of yet plans to major in forensic science and pre-law future plan is to be a defense lawyer.

Donovan K. Kemp is the son of Dr. Helen and Mr. Darius Kemp. Donovan was presented to society at the 2023 Grand Ball for the Dayton Chapter’s Beautillion Militaire on Saturday, March 18, 2023. The Princeton High School student plans to attend Miami University (OH) majoring in STEM, particularly interested in Astronomy.

Jason Lee Isaiah Lavender is a senior at Lakota West High School and is the son of Wayne and Cheryl Lavender. Jason has been a member of the Cincinnati Chapter for eight years and was installed in the Northwest Arkansas Chapter as one of the Charter Families. He served as the Historian / Photographer in the Senior Teen Group. Jason is a Varsity Basketball Player, competes in Engineering Robotics competitions and is an Honor student. Jason has a college offer to play basketball and will attend the college of his choice. Jason’s future plans are to become a Mechanical Engineer.

Gabrielle Nelson is a senior at Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati, OH and is the daughter of Bryan and Sylvia Nelson. She has been a member of the Cincinnati Chapter for seven years. Gabrielle has served as a volunteer at the Cincinnati Museum center and as a tutor for students in the community. She has decided to attend Howard University where she will major in Chemical Engineering and play on the Howard University Women’s Lacrosse team.

Timothy Adams Jr. is a senior at Brebeuf Jesuit College Preparatory School in Indianapolis, Indiana and is the son of Mr. Timothy Adams Sr. and Mrs. Mande Adams. He has been a member of the Circle City Chapter for ten years. He plans to attend college in the fall of 2023. With over seven years of student leadership experience, he plans to continue to lead and advocate and hopes to have a career in corporate law or investment banking.

Terryn Green is a senior at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana and is the daughter of Dr. Terry and Mrs. LaCusia Green. Terryn has been a member of Circle City’s Jack and Jill Chapter for three years and has served as Treasurer and Vice President. Terryn serves as Vice President of her school’s Black Student Union and Aspiring Health Care Students clubs. She is an advocate for anti-drug and tobacco use through VOICE Indiana. She also serves as Captain of the Spell Bowl and Academic Teams and as a participant on both the Principal Advisory Council and the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee. Terryn has been a Girl Scouts participant since kindergarten. She aspires to be a pediatric neurosurgeon and will major in neuroscience.

Joseph Emeke Jideonwo is a senior at Cathedral High School, a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School located in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is the son of Mr. Valentine and Mrs. Arvetta Jideonwo and brother to Master Jacob Chike Jideonwo. He has been a member of the Circle City Chapter for ten years, serving as Parliamentarian of the Teen Chapter. Joseph serves on the Indianapolis Mayor’s Youth Leadership Council, President of Alpha Esquires of Indianapolis, National Honor Society, Minority Engineering Program of Indianapolis and plays the Euphonium in the Cathedral Pride of the Irish Band.

Joseph has earned a cumulative 3.9 GPA and is a College Board National African American Scholar. Joseph was presented to society at the 37th Beautillion Militaire Scholarship Program sponsored by 100 Black Men of Indianapolis, Inc. on April 15, 2023. Named a Distinction Morrill Scholar, Joseph will attend The Ohio State University where he will major in Computer Science and Engineering and gain expertise in software engineering through the design of accessible technology applications for people with disabilities to improve their lives. Joseph’s life’s motto is “In life, don’t try to be better than others, stay humble, and instead try to be better than yourself”.

Trinity Kendrick is a senior at Fishers High School in Fishers, Indiana and is the daughter of Li’Toia Sanders-Kendrick and Antonio Kendrick. She has been a member of the Circle City Chapter of Jack and Jill for four years. Trinity has been involved in the Black Student Union where she served on the executive board her entire high school career, she has been a part of Tiger Fever serving as a mentor for incoming students, as well as serving on the student advisory board to the superintendent. She has also served as a volunteer with numerous community involvement events such as Wheeler Mission and the Julian Center. She has decided to attend Fisk University where she will major in Business and Art with a minor in Spanish, as she plans to further her education in obtaining an MBA to pursue a career in International Business.

Michael Edgerton is a senior at East Ridge High School in Woodbury, MN, and is the son of David and Michelle Edgerton. He has been a member of the City of Lakes Chapter for six years and is currently serving as the Teen President. Michael is lettered in band and theatre and is a member of his high school’s top choir. He has performed in many honor ensembles including the All-State Jazz band and the Suburban East Conference orchestra. He is the president of the diversity club, and a member of the Black Student Union, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Michael plans to major in acting/theatre arts in college.

Noah Farmer is a senior at Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the son of Reverend Kevin and Mrs. Lynn Farmer. He has been a member of the City of Lakes since the chapter was chartered in 2012. He was appointed Legislative chair in 2020. Noah enjoys sports including snowboarding and golf, is a member of the National Honor Society and was voted homecoming king in the fall of 2022.

Noah is an initiate in the Rites of Passage program hosted by the Minneapolis chapter. Noah plans to study Business and Photography in college.

Sydney McDaniel is a senior at Breck School in Golden Valley, MN and is the daughter of Tarnika McDaniel. She has been a City of Lakes Chapter member for eight years, serving on the Teen Executive Board as Editor, Treasurer and currently as Vice President. Sydney is a volunteer at Agape Oasis Child Development Center and coleader of OASIS and Cove - Breck black affinity groups. She received All Metro and All Conference mention in volleyball. Sydney currently serves as the senior class Vice President and member of the Breck Integrity Council. Her achievements include: Head of School List and is a member of The Cum Laude Society. She will major in Biology with plans to become an OB/GYN.

Viza Simone Freeman is a senior at Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights, Ohio, and is the daughter of Viza Denise Freeman. She has been a member of the Cleveland Chapter for nine years. She is an avid member of the performing arts department at Hathaway Brown School. Viza has been in multiple school productions, dance concerts, and choir showcases. She sits on the executive board of the black student union at her school as well. She enjoys photography, writing, crocheting, cooking, and giving back to her community during her free time. Viza volunteers at her local food bank, book bank, and with the organization MedWish. She has not decided what institution she will attend in the fall, but she plans to pursue English and theatre during her undergraduate career.

Daelynn Arschel Haywood is a senior at Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio, and is the daughter of Morris and Sonja Haywood. She has been a member of the Cleveland Chapter for fifteen years. Daelynn is a scholar and athlete that strives for excellence in all aspects of her life. She has been a nationally ranked swimmer since age six. She has been a talented writer winning awards since grade school. Daelynn plans to swim in college, at the University of North Carolina Asheville, and major in English.

Kendall Cherie Long is the daughter of Edward II and Tanisha Long. Kendall has been a member of the Cleveland Chapter from the age of three. She has been deeply involved with chapter programming, service projects, and leadership development throughout her Jack and Jill experience. Kendall’s greatest appreciation of Jack and Jill is the friendship and her supportive village. Kendall is a past chapter teen Vice President and President. She currently serves as Regional Teen Community Impact Committee Co-Chair.

Kendall is a graduate of Gilmour Academy where she remained an AP honors student since the 5th grade. While at Gilmour, she was a National Honor Society Member, President of the Black Student Alliance, Civic Engagement Facilitator, Feminist Club, and a School Ambassador. She completed Gilmour’s rigorous Catalyst Program with a faculty member of Case Western Reserve University, working on authentic research projects aligned with biochemistry and genetic research. As a four-year varsity cheerleader for basketball and football Kendall received the Lancer Award for outstanding leadership twice.

Kendall spends summers as a camp counselor and job shadowing in biological research. Kendall plans to attend Howard University where she will pursue a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry.

Kyndall Joy Mack, daughter of Mr. Quintero Mack and Mrs. Christine Fowler-Mack, is a senior at Hathaway Brown School. She is a loving big sister to her younger brother, Kyle. During her high school career, she has worked hard to maintain academic honors status. Kyndall participates in several clubs including Gold Key, Black Cultural Awareness, Red Cross Club and Book Club. Kyndall is a scholar-athlete and played varsity basketball for four years. She will graduate with a Global Scholars and Visual Arts designation. She is an avid reader and loves to travel, always interested in meeting new people and exploring different cultures.

Kyndall has been a member of the Cleveland Chapter for six years. She has served on the executive board for three years and has served as the Parliamentarian, Corresponding Secretary and Treasurer.

Kyndall is a member of Arlington Church of God and has been involved in the youth activities of the National Association of the Church of God. Kyndall will attend college in the Fall of 2023. At the time of this submission, she was still deciding between offers!

She desires to become a successful woman in business and marketing, eventually owning her own business.

Madison Marie Maynard is a senior at Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, Ohio and is the daughter of Terry and Charlene Maynard. Madison is an AP student and a member of the National Honor Society and Head of School recipient. She is an active student and leader at school. She is a member of Honor Counsel, Civic Engagement Club, Black Student Association, Student Ambassador, Lancers for Liberty, and is the cocreator of the Feminism Club. She has played Varsity A tennis since freshman year.

Madison is extremely active in her community and is a leader outside of school. She is the President of the Jack and Jill of America Inc., Cleveland Chapter Teen Group. She has also served as Corresponding Secretary and Vice President. She is the founder of two non-profit organizations including the Minorities Together Movement: a social action organization. She organized and executed rallies and marches to address the systemic injustices in this country. She has been a presenter and guest speaker at many local events including being interviewed by WKSU the local NPR station. Christopher Waters is the son of James L. Waters and Frances Cudjoe Waters. Christopher is a senior honor student in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme at Shaker Heights High School in Shaker Heights, Ohio.

Christopher serves as a member of the Student Group on Race Relations (SGORR), plays on the state-ranked E-Sports team, participates in the MAC Scholars program, and is a member of the Track and Field team.

Christopher served as Vice President of the Junior Teens of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Dallas Chapter, before relocating with his family to the Cleveland area. He has enjoyed his experiences in both chapters. Upon graduation, he plans to attend either Howard or Morehouse before heading to law school.

Danielle is a senior at Columbus School for Girls in Bexley, Ohio, and is the daughter of Rhonda Talford Knight, PhD and Damon Lamar Knight. She has been a member of Jack and Jill since 2012. Danielle spends her spare time as a member of the theater department and swim team and plays club rugby in the spring. She also enjoys working with children and aligns her passion for swimming by teaching swim lessons at the YMCA. Danielle will attend University of Law in London England. She plans to reside in England and specialize in juvenile law after her studies.

Carter Minor, a graduating senior at New Albany High School in New Albany, OH, is the son of Kimberly and Marc B. Minor, Esq. He’s been a member of Jack & Jill for twelve years and currently serves as Teen President of the Midwest Region. Carter has been involved in the performing arts since he was five when he started dance study at Alvin Ailey in NYC. He is now an accomplished performer and Equity member with several professional lead role credits. In school, Carter is treasurer of the National Honor Society, co-founder and President of the Black Student Association, and recipient of the Princeton Recognition for Inclusion, Equity, and Community Service. He is a member of the National Thespian Society and enjoys performing in school productions, Honors and Acapella Chorus, and speaking at many community events, including this year conducting live and streamed interviews with noted author Deepak Chopra, FOX News Anchor Bret Bair, Harvard Professor Khalil Muhammad, and National Urban League President Marc Morial. He looks forward to attending college and has yet to decide among several acceptances. However, he knows he wants to impact the world, majoring in theater, political science, or journalism.

Kyndall Coker is a senior at Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio and is the daughter of Dwayne and Lisa Coker. She has been a member of the Jack and Jill Dayton Chapter for four years. Kyndall has served as the Teen Treasurer and Foundation Chair for the Dayton Jack and Jill chapter, served on her high school’s Student Service Board where she organized community service events, and was a member of her high school’s tennis and track & field teams. Kyndall aspires to be a physician and is excited to begin her undergraduate journey at Spelman College in Atlanta, GA where she will major in Health Sciences on the Pre-Medical track.

Anika is the daughter of Keith and Alisa Vukasinovich. She is a senior at Chaminade Julienne High School. She is a Letterman for Soccer and Lacrosse and was captain of her soccer team and plays in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) for Ohio Galaxies Futbol Club. She participates in Montgomery County Female Leadership Academy in their Mentor-Mentee program where she was paired with an administrator of Montgomery County Juvenile Courts. She has done most of her service with Y.L.A.G. (Young Ladies Aspiring Greatness) she works with her peers to participate in community activities and combat social injustices. Through Jack and Jill Anika has participated in community service events, fundraising, and completing leadership modules/workshops. As the two-term teen president of the Dayton Chapter she has organized, planned, and coordinated events with mother members. She is also currently serving her second term on the Midwestern Regional Teen Strategic Planning Committee Soccer, Lacrosse, Students-In-Action, Junior Retreat Leader, Junior Council on World Affairs, being a major CJ sports fan, dances, and lasting friendships. Anika plans to attend University of Alabama in the fall where she will major in Business Finance with a minor in English.

Gabrielle Beacham is a senior at DuPont Manual High School in Louisville, KY, and is the daughter of Drs. Timothy and Tracilia Beacham. She has been a member of the Derby City Chapter of Jack and Jill for four years, where she has served as the Legislative Chair and the Teen President. She has received several highly competitive academic and musical awards. She was selected to participate in the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program, the Louisville Academy (a highly selective University of Louisville dual-credit program), the Harvard Scholar program, and the University of Chicago Summer Scholar program. Her numerous community involvement activities include life membership in the NAACP, middle school band tutoring, and volunteering for the Kentucky Science Center. As a life member of the NAACP, she has spoken at several of their local activities including their 2022 Juneteenth Celebration. As a dedicated oboist, she is a co-principal oboist in Louisville Youth Orchestra’s Symphony Orchestra and has been awarded spots in the Kentucky All-State band. She achieved these accomplishments while working part-time at Chick-Fil-A and life-guarding full-time during the summer. As of today, Gabrielle has not decided on which college she is attending but she will major in Biology and Music.

Brandon Hughes is a senior at Ballard High School in Louisville, KY, and is the son of Kevin and Maria Hughes. He has been a member of Derby City for nine years and held positions ranging from financial secretary to President. In his community, he worked with his school district to improve accessibility to students’ Bill of Rights and led fundraising initiatives. After High School, he has decided to major in Finance and intends to work in private equity/wealth management.

Ashton Hunter Natsis, is a senior at DuPont Manual High School in Louisville, KY. He is in the High School University Magnet. He is the son of Drs. James and Kenya Natsis. His magnet program has provided him with the opportunity to earn college credits from the University of Louisville. He speaks fluent French and has attended Alliance Francais as well as French Emerson School in Canada. He’s active both within the school and community. He has been a member of Derby City Jack and Jill for twelve years. He served as Treasurer in the Teen Group (2021-2022) and (2022-2023). He plays basketball, runs track, and is in French and Beta Club. He is a member of Kappa League. He has his Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and attends Brown Memorial CME Church. Throughout the year he serves the community by providing food to individuals in homeless shelters. He lives by the biblical verse: I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Philippians 4:11-13. In the fall, he will attend Clark Atlanta University and major in International Business in French. His goal is to become an entrepreneur.

Travis Smith is a senior at DuPont Manual High School, in Louisville, KY. He is the son of Mr. Travis and Dr. Felicia Smith and brother to Jasmine and Austyn Smith. Travis has been a member of the Derby City Jack and Jill Chapter for eight years, serving two terms as Financial Secretary. Travis’ passion for the game of soccer has led him to volunteer for a non-profit organization that introduces soccer and all of its benefits to youth in disadvantaged communities. Travis has received an athletic scholarship to play Division 1 soccer for Wake Forest University, where he will pursue a career in business or medicine.

Dennis has been a member of the Detroit Chapter for more than ten years and is completing his second term as Teen Parliamentarian. He is Vice-President of the Black Student Alliance and a member of the Varsity Tennis and Track & Field teams. Jason Brown is a senior honor roll student at University of Detroit Jesuit High School in Detroit Michigan. He is the son of Jason D. Brown and Vikki Hardy Brown. As a member of the Detroit Chapter for twelve years, he has served as the Lead Teen for the local service partnership with C.O.T.S and spearheaded the award-winning Cereal Drive. Jason serves as Captain of his high school varsity football team, President of the Sports Broadcasting Club, and was a Teen Ambassador for the State of Michigan’s Vaccination campaign. Jason will be attending University of Michigan in the fall where he will study Journalism and Sports Broadcasting.

Lexi Clark is a senior at Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills, Michigan, and is the daughter of Dr. Renita Barge Clark and the late L. Stanley Clark. Lexi has been a member of the Detroit Chapter for sixteen years, since she was age two. Lexi is the Detroit Chapter Teen President, past Legislative Chair and served on the Regional Nominating Committee. Lexi is a Varsity Track and Field Captain, Summa Cum Laude, President of DCDS Film Production and CEO of two non-profits. Lexi will attend New York University Tisch as a Film major to become a Film Director.

She has been a member of the Detroit Chapter for thirteen years. Payton volunteers with Motor City Steam, Coalition on Temporary Housing. Nelson “Nelly” Gordon is a senior at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Livonia, Michigan. Nelson is the son of Noceeba Southern Letts and Justin C. Letts. Nelson has been a member of Jack and Jill of America since 2007, while being a dedicated scholar-athlete with a high achieving academic record. Throughout his high school career, Nelson challenged himself in the classroom, in wrestling matches, and on the football field. He is a member of DECA who plans a career in business with a focus on sports management. Nelson has committed to Morehouse College as a Maroon Tiger football player.

Caleb Knuth is a senior to University of Detroit Jesuit High School in Detroit Michigan. He is the eldest son of Bryon and Monife Knuth. Caleb has been a member of the Detroit Chapter for six years. Caleb earned varsity letters in both lacrosse and football. This past season he was a team captain, Defensive player of the year, All-Catholic, All-Regional and All-Star Senior. Also a Teen Ambassador to the COVID relief in Michigan and appeared on the Today Show discussing Teen Mental Health. Caleb’s record for the Medley relay still stands for the Detroit Golf Club swim team. Caleb will study Business Administration at Tennessee State University in the fall.

Maxwell Motley is the son of Ms. Bridgette Motley and the late Dr. Reginald J. Motley. A member of the Detroit Chapter for thirteen years, he currently serves as Treasurer for the Teen Group. Maxwell is a senior at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy. In addition to Varsity Football and Track and Field, Maxwell is a National Chess Champion and captain of the Chess Team. Maxwell earned four City Council Spirit of Detroit Awards and participated in B.A.S.E, Detroit Kappa League, and the Midnight Golf Program. Mariama Stewart is a senior at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. She is the daughter of Neil and Michelle Stewart. In addition to being a member of the Detroit Chapter for twelve years, Mariama services the community through Co-Ettes and the National Honor Society, including over 100 hours of volunteer work at the Motor City STEAM Foundation. She has also been a competitive dancer for 8 years and is cocaptain of the Cass Tech Dance Workshop team. She plans to attend Spelman College and major in Biology on a pre-dental track to become an orthodontist.

Kylii has been a member of the Detroit Chapter for nine years. She is currently the Teen Vice-President of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Detroit Chapter and the Assistant Treasurer of Co-Ette Club Incorporated. Additionally, she is a member of the DECA Business program and CoCaptain of Cass’ Varsity Softball Team. Kylii hopes to attend an HBCU where she will major in Psychology, and own a practice helping teens with their mental health.

Hailee Wilson is a senior at Salem High School in Canton, MI. She is the daughter of Hardy and Lisa Wilson. She has been a member of the Detroit Chapter for three years. Hailee has organized several literacy focused community service projects with her local Girl Scout Troop. She is actively involved in the Black Student Union and helped organize events that bring awareness to social justice issues in the community. Hailee will study human resource management this fall.

Savannah Louise Yopp is a senior at Cranbrook High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and is the daughter of the late Tanya Heidelberg-Yopp and Roger Yopp. She has been a member of the Detroit Chapter of Jack and Jill for fifteen years. Savannah is a member of the Co-Ette Club, Inc., a member of the 2022 Debutante Club, and a volunteer with the Motor City Steam Organization. She is also an accomplished awardwinning ballerina. She plans to attend Howard University’s Business School, but is also considering pursuing her love for the arts.

Kalynn is a senior at Grand Blanc High School in Grand Blanc, Michigan and is the daughter of Frank & Stephanie Grandberry. She has been a member of the Flint chapter for nine years where she’s served as Teen Foundation/Legislative Chair, Correspondence Secretary, Vice President and currently Teen Chapter President. In school, Kalynn is a member of multiple cultural clubs, along with the Girls Glee, Women’s Ensemble, Chorale and Unaccompanied Minors, an audition a capella group. She’s also a member of the student government and the National Honor Society. Kalynn’s weighing her collegiate options and plans to major in Biology to become a Gynecologist.

She has been a member of the Forest City Chapter for three years. She has participated in softball, key club, newspaper, violin, and figure skating throughout high school. She has helped in the community at the Boys and Girls club, food banks, and at a local homeless shelter over the years. She will attend the University of Illinois in Chicago in the fall. She will be double majoring in computer science and marketing. Her plans include exploring interest in working abroad.

Jadyn Primes is a senior at Jefferson High School in Rockford, Illinois and is the son of Deonta and Kenyatta Muhammad. He is a new member of the Forest City, IL Chapter enjoying membership for the past year. Jadyn volunteers at the Rockford Rescue Mission servicing in the kitchen and is a member of the Teen Leadership Program of UKUU. He also volunteers as an active speaker/advocate for the Teens of Juneteenth and serves on the Rockford Park District Team. He has decided to attend Jackson State University where he will major in Criminal Justice and continue on to law school to become a defense attorney.

Kamal Sprouse is a senior at Munster High School in Munster, IN. He is the son of Dr. Ahmad and Nakia Sprouse. Kamal has been a member of the Gary/Northwest Indiana chapter for seven years. As a teen, Kamal has served in multiple roles as an officer. He has served twice as the Teen Group Treasurer and currently serves as the President of the teen group. Kamal is a member of DECA, a student-centered organization whose program of leadership and personal development is designed for students with a career interest in marketing, management, hospitality, finance, entrepreneurship, and or business administration, and also a member of the Munster High School track team. Despite his full load through Jack and Jill and school extracurricular activities, Kamal also works part-time at Chipotle. This fall, Kamal will be attending Kentucky State University where he plans to major in Computer Science.

Alexxandria S. Braddock is a senior at Heritage High School in Saginaw, MI; the daughter of Willie and Kinesha Braddock Mason. She has been a member of the Great Lakes Bay Region Chapter of Jack and Jill since 2018 and serves as teen president. She’s a 4-year varsity basketball player, 2 years as captain and a 3-year varsity track member, proudly earning a college academic and athletic scholarship from Concordia University majoring in Accounting & Finance. Nia is a member of the National Honor Society, Varsity Track and Field, Varsity Cheerleading, and is a nationally ranked Junior. Olympics AllAmerican in Shot Put. Nia is also active in her church youth group where she serves as a teen mentor. Nia will be attending Spelman College and plans to study International Business Administration.

Bryce has been an active member of Jack & Jill of America - Greater Lansing Chapter for the last seven years. During this time, he has served in numerous leadership positions including, Sergeantat-Arms, Treasurer, Vice President and proudly serves as the current Teen President. During his matriculation at Okemos High School, Bryce has been engaged in numerous extracurricular activities including choir, baseball, basketball, Kappa League, and Black Student Union, just to name a few. He is a self-taught pianist and social media influencer with almost 200,000 TikTok followers. Bryce is a member of Mt. Zion All Nations Bible Church in Dewitt, Michigan, where he regularly worships with his family. After graduation, Bryce will attend Hampton University to pursue a degree in Marketing.

Debutante, was in the 2022 Circle City Classic Coronation Class, is a Peer Mentor at Cathedral High School, was the Legislative Liaison for the Teen Group in 2021, and serves as the Parliamentarian in 2022. Philip serves on the Jack and Jill Apex Teen Eboard. He is a member of New Era Church and their Ignite Teen Ministry. Philip participates in football, hockey, lacrosse, and the DECA team. Philip serves as vice president of the Alpha Esquires of Indianapolis, an affiliated youth group of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Philip is undecided on his college/university choice. He will major in business/law.

Malia Alexandra Lomax is a senior at North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana and is the daughter of Robert and MeKeeba Lomax. Her mother has been a member of the Indianapolis Chapter for fifteen years. Malia is a member of New Life Worship Center Church and has also been committed to serving the community in many roles, including as an executive board member of the Indianapolis Chapter teen group. She plans to attend Tennessee State University where she will major in Biology/ Dentistry. Upon graduation, from college, she plans to attend Meharry Medical College to pursue a career in Dentistry.

Lincoln has served his community in a variety of ways, including food pantry donations, youth sports camps, and mentoring. Samantha Suggs is a senior at Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana and is the daughter of Annette Suggs and Denis Suggs. She has been a member of the Indianapolis Chapter for sixteen years. Samantha served as MWR Teen Vice President (2022-2023), Indianapolis Teen President (2021-2022), and Teen Secretary (2020-2021); Carmel High Ambassador Show Choir, Select Sound Acapella Ensemble, GKOM Council Member, Black Student Alliance, and a piano student. She will attend Georgetown University where she will in major in Psychology with a minor in Public Policy. She plans to obtain dual JD and MBA degrees and work in corporate America.

She has been a member of the Indianapolis Chapter for nine years and served as teen chapter secretary for the 20212022 program year. When he is not serving as the Vice President of his chapter, Sean dedicates his free time to running track, managing a school spirit social media page, and working as a host at a restaurant on the weekends. Gabrielle Bolton is a senior at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School in Chicago, IL and is the daughter of Dana & Ola Bolton. She has been a member of the Lake Shore Chapter of Jack and Jill of America for thirteen years. She has served as the Service Chair as well as the Nominating Chair for her chapter. Her college decision is still being determined. She plans to major in Psychology and become a Psychologist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the future.

Morgan Charles is a lifelong Chicago resident and current Senior at Kenwood Academy High School as well as the all-class Student Council President. She is the oldest daughter of Robert and Veta Charles and older sister to Payton Charles. She currently serves as the legislative chair of the Chicago Lake Shore Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., which she has been a part of for fourteen years. The University of Southern California was her number one choice for college. She was recently accepted and WILL be attending USC in the fall! She plans to major in Data analytics with a focus in pop culture.

Bryce Mitchell is a Senior at Kenwood Academy in Chicago, Illinois and is the son of Melody Pierce and Robert Mitchell. He has been a member of the Lake Shore Chapter for fifteen years, where he has served as the Technology Chair. Bryce is a starting defenseman for the Varsity Lacrosse team, a member of the drumline and concert band, a member of the Kappa League Leadership Institute, and a mentor for Let’s Mentor, Inc. Wesley Williams is a Senior at Jones College Preparatory High School. His parents are Lafayette Wesley Williams, III and Dr. Karen Johnson. Wesley has been a member of Lake Shore Chapter for ten years. He has served as Parliamentarian, Legislative Chair, and currently serves as the Editor. He has maintained high honors in high school. His academic interests include pre- medicine, criminal psychology, English and religious studies. Outside of his academic endeavors, he is heavily involved in competitive club soccer, Good Sense Kids Club (founding member), and riding his bike that he designed and put together from scratch.

Maeve Callahan-Murphy is a senior at Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville, KY. She is the daughter of Dr. Tamara Callahan and Dr. Michael Murphy. She has been a member of the Louisville, KY Chapter of Jack and Jill for four years and served as recording secretary.

Maeve earned a varsity letter in bowling at Sacred Heart Academy, participated in Kentucky Youth Assembly (KTA), and has been a cantor in her church for multiple years. She was also an honors student and received multiple leadership awards.

One of Maeve’s most meaningful activities was as a volunteer with Hand-in-Hand Ministries helping build homes for those in need in Belize. She has volunteered with Dare to Care Food Bank and Links Incorporated Linked for Success Program.

Maeve is grateful to have earned a substantial Dean’s Scholarship from Loyola University Chicago. She plans to pursue a major in Psychology and Nursing with the goal of becoming a nurse practitioner in child psychology. She also plans to continue to pursue her love of the arts through painting and singing.

He is a Charter Member of the Magnificent Mile Chapter, which was incorporated in 2020. Chasen is the current President of the Teen Group and previously served as Vice President and Recording Secretary. Chasen is proud of his straight-A status, which has earned him membership in the National Honor Society. In his free-time, Chasen plays water polo. He has been accepted to several universities but is undecided at this time. He plans to major in Economics this fall.

He has been a member of the Magnificent Mile Chapter for three years. Michael is a young entrepreneur and is very excited about fintech. He has been accepted to several colleges but is undecided at this time. However, he will major in Computer Science this fall.

Caitlin Josephine Johnson is a senior at the DeLaSalle Institute in Chicago, Illinois. She is the daughter of Evelyn Holmes and the late Allan Johnson. Caitlin has been a member of the Magnificent Mile Chapter since its chartering in 2020. While in the teen group, she has served as the Corresponding Secretary. Caitlin is currently a member of the National Honor Society and serves as its Faculty Liaison. She is a student athlete, involved in community based activities, and writes for the school newspaper. Caitlin plans to attend college in the fall and major in Broadcast Journalism.

He is a member of the National Honor Society, The National Science Honor Society, Vice President of the Milwaukee Chapter of The NAACP Youth Council, member of The Milwaukee Chapter of The ACLU and has a paid position as a City of Milwaukee Election Inspector. George has earned awards and medals for his athletic abilities in track and field, football, and wrestling, all while maintaining a GPA at or above 3.8. George spent all 4 years of high school as an International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate and recently earned The IB Diploma for his studies. She has committed to the honors college at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where she will major in criminal justice with a minor in French. He has been a member of the Minneapolis Chapter since 2005 and is the current Foundation Chair. Brian is in the National Honor society and involved in Football and Track and Field. Brian was awarded the MWC Academic award, Defense MVP award and several Student Leadership awards. Brian is also the founder of his school’s Chinese Language club and volunteers for his church. Brian will attend the University of Wisconsin Madison and major in Finance.

She has been a member of the Minneapolis Chapter for five years and has served as Teen Nomination Chair, Editor and is currently the Legislative Chair of the Teen Group. Camille played varsity volleyball and track throughout high school and has worked as a summer intern for Abbott Laboratories for the past 2 summers. In the fall, Camille will major in aerospace engineering and aspires to work for NASA in the future.

Zinn Lawrence Amos is a senior at Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox, IL and is the son of Walter and Karen Amos. Zinn is elated to be a member and Teen President of the newly established Monarch Cities Chapter. He is President of the National Honor Society and Founder of the Medical Club at his high school, and he has a 4.22 GPA.

Zinn is passionate about serving his church and local community. Zinn volunteers numerous hours at his church, serving as an usher and as a Broadcast Technician for the Grace and Truth Media Ministry, and he serves his local community through public service programs in Monarch Cities and as a member of Top Teens of America, Skyline Metropolitan Chapter. Zinn is also committed to tutoring African American youth in Math and Science via the tutoring business he started, Amos Tutoring Service.

God has blessed Zinn with four full-ride and four full-tuition merit-based scholarships. He is evaluating his college acceptance options but has narrowed his choices to The University of Chicago and Wake Forest University, where he will double major in Biology and African American Studies. Zinn’s career aspiration is to become an Orthopedic Surgeon.

His favorite activities have been those serving the local community, such as Gleaners Food Bank and the Community Turkey Give Away. Blake has participated in youth football for fourteen years and plays on the Varsity Football team. He’s a member of the usher board and mime ministries at church. Donovan is a nationally ranked chess player and is Captain of the Woodhaven Warriors wrestling team. He is the owner of Gutter Gladiators Gutter Cleaning Service. He is a Godly man who serves his community through Jack and Jill, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s Project Manhood and Word of Faith Christian Center. Donovan plans to attend Purdue University and major in Aerospace Engineering.

Joshua Johnson is the son of Sean Johnson and The Honorable Adrienne HinnantJohnson. He is currently a senior at Cass Technical High School with a focus in the Business Curriculum.

Joshua has been a member of the Cass Tech Track and Field Team for the past year and the Tennis Team and the Junior ROTC Raiders program for the entirety of his high school career. During his summers, Joshua has been employed as an intern with the Grow Detroit Youth Talent Internship Program as well as spending his most recent summer studying international business in a study abroad program in Berlin, Germany.

Joshua has been a member of Jack and Jill of America, Motor City Chapter for thirteen years and currently serves as the legislative chair for the teen group. Through Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Joshua has been able to participate in various acts of service with The Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Gleaners Food Bank, The Children’s Center as well as many other community organizations.

Miles Elijah Lee is a senior at Renaissance High School in Detroit, Michigan. He is the son of Andre T. Lee and Claire Mason Lee, Esq. He has been a member of the Motor City Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., for 9 years. He has served as the teen Parliamentarian and currently serves as the teen Chaplain. Miles has been actively involved with several community service projects with organizations like SDM2, Focus Hope, Empowerment Church, The Thanksgiving Project and the Coalition on Temporary Shelter (COTS).

Miles is a competitive swimmer and has been a member of the Razor Aquatics Swim Club for six years, has served as team captain and has received competition medals on the state, regional and Junior Olympic levels. He also has been a member of the Rosedale Park Soccer League for over ten years and a varsity member on both the soccer and swim teams at Renaissance High School. Additionally, Miles is an accomplished trumpet player and has performed with the high school’s symphonic, jazz and orchestra bands. Miles is a member of the Midnight Golf Program and plans to attend college and major in zoology.

Colby John Oliver is the son of Mr. Corey & Mrs. Marci Oliver. He has been a member of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated – Motor City Chapter for five years, during which time he has served as Sergeant-At-Arms, Treasurer, and Recording Secretary. As a graduating senior at Renaissance High School in Detroit, MI, Colby serves as the Captain of the Varsity Men’s Baseball Team. He was named to the Detroit All-City Baseball Team in 2021. Colby is an active participant in the Southfield Kappa League where he has served as Treasurer and as the Chair of the Communications Committee. At Grace Community United Methodist Church, Colby served as a Church Acolyte and is currently a member of the Communications Team. He also serves his community by volunteering with the SDM2 Project Education, Focus: HOPE, and the Children’s Defense Fund. Dierra L. Surles is a graduating senior attending Cass Technical High School. The eldest of two daughters, Dierra is extremely focused, creative and kind-hearted. She is incredibly active in her community and participates in several programs including the Wayne County Commission Youth Commission where she serves as Chair, Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, Ivylettes, Detroit Food Academy, Math Corps, and Girls who Code to name a few. She is an avid volunteer having launched her own book and canned food drives as well as volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House of Southeastern Michigan. She loves STEAM related activities and plans to be either an Environmental or Agricultural Engineer upon college graduation.

Collin Taft Batts is a senior at Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills, Michigan and is the son of Dawn and Derek Batts. Collin’s community service has focused on addressing food insecurity especially for the elderly population and equity in education for the youth. Nick Eaton is a senior at Lake Orion High School in Lake Orion, Michigan. He is the son of Darrin and Rita Eaton. He has been a member of the North Oakland/Macomb chapter for 5 years. Nick has been a community servant since elementary school. He is a volunteer teacher at the Lake Orion Early Childhood Center, served food to the homeless community; coached youth football; gathered food for Meals on Wheels senior citizens; read to elementary school students. He is deciding between Northwestern University, University of Michigan and Boston College; where he’ll major in pre-medicine. He plans to become a Plastic Surgeon.

James Patterson Jr. is a senior at Lake Orion High School in Lake Orion, Michigan and is the son of James Patterson Sr and Dr. Edwina Patterson. He has been a member of the North Oakland/Macomb chapter for ten years, where he served as a Legislative Chair. He is a Scholar Athlete, in the National Honor Society, President/Founder of the Black Student Union, on the School’s Choir Executive Council, Varsity Football Captain and member of Alpha Esquires. He passionately supports homeless community service initiatives. James enjoys reading philosophy and writing poetry. James’ book The Black Student Immersion, Whispers of Black Students in White Majority High Schools, was inspired by his feature as an artist in Jack and Jill’s, The Super Chronicles. James’s message for his peer group is, pick up a “BANNED” book and read; Wokeness is only vilified because WE are the ones that will be awakened to truth! He has decided to attend the prestigious Amherst College where he will triple major in Law Jurisprudence and Social Thought, Economics and Philosophy as well as be a member of the football team. James Jr aspires to become a lawyer specializing in Constitutional/Political Law, and a Federal Judge.

Makayla Pittman is a senior at West Bloomfield High School in West Bloomfield, Michigan. She is the daughter of Corey and Kineta Pittman and big sister to Corey II (16), Madison (8), and Kameryn (5). Makayla has been a member of the North Oakland/Macomb Chapter for 8 years, serving various leadership roles within the Teen Auxiliary Group, with the last 2 years being the Chapter Teen President. She is also a leader within her community and school, developing fundraising events, serving on student leadership and advisor for the last 4 years, all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Cameron’s been a member of the Rochester Alliance of Theatrical Students for 5+ years. Undecided about where he’ll attend college, Cameron is excited to pursue a career in Film and Television. Cameron is grateful for the leadership and speaking opportunities in NOM as it inspired his decision to be an actor.

Angelique Holmes is a senior at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL and the daughter of Robert and Kinyana Holmes. She has been a member of the North Shore Chapter since 2007. She is an active member of Stevenson High School Color Guard which placed 28th out of 96 teams at the World Championships. She plans to study forensic science and criminology at Loyola University and aspires to be a forensic scientist.

Noelle Lanton is a senior at Elgin Academy in Elgin, IL and is the daughter of Robert and Colette Lanton. She has been a member of North Shore Chapter since 2009. She has been a member of the Varsity Tennis Team since freshman year and has served as captain since sophomore year. She won the 2022 State Championship with an undefeated season of 30-0. Donovan is the captain of the Varsity Basketball team and volunteers his time as a youth counselor for area youth basketball camps. He will be attending Hampton University in the fall where he will major in business administration in pursuit of his MBA.

Olivia Stevenson is a senior at Evanston Township High School in Evanston, IL, and the daughter of Terrance and Regina Stevenson. She has been a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. since 2018 and a member of the North Shore Chapter since 2021. Olivia has been active on Varsity and High School Cheer teams, is in the National Honors Society, and is on the Senior Class Board. She also mentors youth, reads to children in schools, helps families in need, and leads sports groups. Olivia plans to be a Sports Agent and will be pursuing a degree in business and sports management at North Carolina A&T University. Her goal is to advocate, impact, influence, and open doors for black talent across this country.

McRae has been in Jack and Jill since 2014 with the last six years in the Oakland County Chapter. He has been a member of the Southfield Kappa League and has served as Chair of the Community Service Committee. McRae has played AAU basketball for the Michigan One Team. Currently, McRae is the Lead Building Assistant at The Hawk Recreation Center. McRae has been accepted to numerous colleges and plans to major in Logistics or Computer Science.

Montana Michelle Jones is a senior at Cranbrook Kingswood High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and is the daughter of Drs. Lamont and Teniesha Jones. She has been a member of the Oakland County Chapter for six years. She is the Founder of “Shoot for the Moon, Land Amongst the Star, Advocacy through the Arts”. She is also president of the African American (4A) Club and Glee Club. She has performed as the lead role in Alice in Wonderland, Spongebob the Musical, and Shrek. Derek William Oglesby, the eldest son of Derek and Naomi Oglesby, is a senior at Bloomfield Hills High School. He is the current teen Treasurer of the Oakland County Chapter, a member of the National Honor Society, Alpha Esquires and Forensics Club, having earned a state semi-finalist title. Derek plays varsity soccer, having earned AllState Honors and his team’s Most Valuable Player. He is a Co-President of the Black Student Alliance and a national finalist of the LEADership, Education and Development Program. Derek plans to attend Howard University where he will study Finance or International Business.

Zoë Blossom Patterson, daughter of Tiberia and Tracee Patterson, attends Oakland Early College in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Zoë became a member of Oakland County in 2019 and served as Teen Parliamentarian/Sergeant-at-Arms. She is a national Detroit City Chess champion, the 1st Student Council President at Niji-iro Japanese School, President of the Southfield Alumnae Delta G.E.M.S., and 2022 recipient of a “Black Girls Who Rock Entrepreneur Award.” Zoë became a business owner at 10 yrs. old, as a Deejay and upon graduation will be certified in Japanese, hold an Associate in Arts Communication, and teach deejaying overseas as an American Cultural Ambassador.

Lyric Sheyenne-Soleil Eveans is a senior at Sun Prairie East High School and is the daughter of Bennie Eveans and Yolanda Tolson-Eveans. She has been a member of Jack and Jill South Central Wisconsin Chapter since 2016 she has served as the Teen Chapter legislative chair and is currently the outgoing Teen President. She has concluded her final year of service to Jack and Jill as a member of the Mid-Western Regional Teen Nominating Committee. Lyric has been active in high school working, being a member of the BSU, Yearbook Club, and has been a varsity hurdler in Track and Field. She has been a member of the South Central Wisconsin Jack and Jill Chapter for five years, where she is the current Chapter Teen Vice-President and past Chapter Teen Treasurer. Marie is a member of the National Honor Society and Black Student Union, Captain of her varsity basketball team, and a multi-year recipient of the BEAM (Black Excellence Achievement Matters) and MLK Outstanding Young Person Awards. She also runs her own online math tutoring service. Marie will attend a four-year University where she will major in kinesiology or pre-med, as she aspires to work in sports medicine.

Layla Paige Kimmons is the daughter of Gyata and Leslie Kimmons and a big sister to Morgan Kimmons. Layla has been a Jack and Jill, South Suburban Chicago Chapter member for five years. She attended Homewood-Flossmoor high school and has had continued involvement in her school and community. Much of her extracurricular activities involved playing basketball and providing tutoring services in multiple subjects. Layla has served as Chaplain and Vice President in JJSSCC’s teen group and has been committed to the service of others and to her community. Layla has volunteered numerous hours to community organizations such as the Ford Heights Boys and Girls Club, South Suburban PADS shelter, Respond Now homeless services, and Hazel Crest 2020 Census, and served as a Teen Volunteer at the Chicago Field Museum. Layla has an adventurous heart and a curious spirit. She is interested in ancient and diverse cultural histories and foreign political affairs. Layla plans to travel the world and looks forward to traveling in college through study-abroad opportunities. Layla has plans to major in political science and minor in international studies. Layla will proudly attend Hampton University in the fall as a fourth generation legacy of academic excellence.

Patrice St. Jean is a senior at Homewood-Flossmoor High School and the daughter of Drs. Peter and Zahrain St. Jean. Patrice has been a member of the South Suburban Chicago Chapter for eight years and has served as the Teen Group Corresponding Secretary and Legislative Chair.

She is a member of the National Honors Society. Patrice participates in the Anti-Drug Operation Snowball Program as a group leader for younger students and as a Student Ambassador for transfer students. Patrice has won several local and statewide awards for her Graphic Design Artwork including the 2021 Award and 2022 Nomination for the Congressional Arts Award from Illinois Congresswoman Robin Kelly.

Patrice has also served as an Executive Producer for her high school’s television station and the Radio Manager of WHFH 88.5 FM. Along with her managerial positions, Patrice has been a host for her radio shows “Spice of Life” and “Pat Ka Pale” since her Sophomore year. In 2023, Patrice won first Place in a Radio Interview Category by the Woman’s Press Association and she helped curate her high school’s first student-led Black Excellence Showcase.

Nya Simone Stokes is a senior at Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, Illinois, and is the daughter of Paul and Deadra Stokes. Nya has been a member of the South Suburban Chicago Chapter for sixteen years. She served as the Class Treasurer for the Graduating Class of 2023 at Lincoln-Way East during both her Sophomore and Junior year at school. She currently serves as Teen Chapter President and has served as Teen Chapter Treasurer and Parliamentarian. Nya is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and Pi Sigma Pi, a Social Science Honor Society. Nya also serves as an Ambassador at Lincoln-Way East where she assists freshmen and transfer students new to the school. She was selected as one of 150 Senior scholars to participate in the Morgan Stanley Jumpstart 2022 -2023 Internship program. In the Fall of 2023, Nya will attend Delaware State University, located in Dover, Delaware, on a Full Tuition Scholarship. Nya plans to major in Finance with a concentration in Banking.

Faith Iyanna Wilson is a senior at Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, IL. Faith is the daughter of George and Nikki Wilson. Faith has been a South Suburban Chicago Chapter member since 2016 and has served as TLC Chair since 2019. Faith has been a member of the Black Student Union throughout her time at Marian and a student ambassador for incoming freshmen. Faith is currently participating in the 2023 Miss Shades of Pink Cotillion Scholarship Cotillion for the Phi Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Faith has been accepted to and will attend Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL on a partial merit scholarship. She plans to major in Criminal Justice to become a lawyer and eventually a judge.

Ernest A. Woods, III, is a senior at Homewood-Flossmoor High School in Flossmoor, Illinois, and is the son of Ernest Jr and Mariba Woods. He has been in the South Suburban Chicago Chapter for five years. Ernest has served as the Foundation Chair, and Nominating Committee Chair and is currently the Parliamentarian for the Teen Group. He is a member of the National Honor Society, on the Homewood-Flossmoor Swim Team, and captain of the Lacrosse Team. Ernest is also the Vice-President of the Skyline Chapter of Top Teens of America. He is a graphic artist and owns a photography business in his spare time. Ernest is also very active in his community, participating in food drives, volunteering with after-school youth programs, and as a summer camp counselor. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue Engineering at North Carolina A&T State University.

Kendall has volunteered as a Girl Scout Day Camp Counselor and organizer for four years and other non-for profit organizations. He volunteers in his community as an Ambassador for Books 4 Buddies, a non-profit organization committed to improving and increasing literacy for boys in the Greater Toledo Area. Jasmine is a High Honor Roll student, and she is involved in a variety of activities including National Arts Honor Society and the DuPage County ACT-SO program, where she’s competed since her freshman year and has earned several medals in Architecture, Engineering and Drawing. She recently won a gold medal in Engineering and Drawing through ACTSO and will be competing in the National ACT-SO Competition in Boston, MA in July. Jasmine will major in Architecture in the Fall 2023 and will be attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign School of Architecture.

Zachariah Morton is a senior at Wheaton Warrenville South in Wheaton, IL, and son of Trevin and Simone Morton. He’s been a member of the West Suburban Chicago Chapter since 2011. Zachariah is a member of the National Honor Society and captain of the boys varsity tennis team. He’s a member of the Principal and Dean Student Advisory boards. Zachariah was named All-Conference, All-Academic each year and was a State Finalist. He plans to study civil engineering and has been accepted to several schools including Michigan State, Purdue, Ohio State, Howard and University of Missouri, but hasn’t made a decision.

At Neuqua, Ayana has become a leader for AfricanAmerican underclassmen and received honor awards for both equity and leadership. Outside of school, she loves drawing and photography. Auri Allyse Watson is a senior at Bolingbrook High School (BHS) in Bolingbrook, IL and is the daughter of Dr. Shuntae and Patrick Williams. Auri is an active member of Victory Cathedral Worship Center, Generation V Youth group. She has been a member of the West Suburban Chicago Chapter of Jack and Jill for six years where she served as President and Recording Secretary of the Trailblazer Grade Group. Auri has proudly participated in the DuPage County Jr. ACTS-O (Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics) and BHS Jr. STARS (Strong, Thriving, Abundant, and Radiant girls who shine bright). Beyond her commitment to service, she is a Debutante for the Chicago Chapter of the Links, Incorporated 60th Annual Cotillion. For over ten years, Auri has emerged as a loyal member of the Track and Cross-Country team and member of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). She will attend Tennessee State University where she will combine her interest in the practice of psychology and the law. Blake Donalson, son of Marvis Donalson and Barry Donalson, has a love for musical theater and a passion for animals. As a twelve-year member of Western Cook County Chapter, he has served as Parliamentarian, and Regional Teen Nominating Committee member. Blake, a Dean’s List student and graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School, shined brightly as a member of the OPRFHS Show Choir, Acapella Choir, Lead in Sister Act, Mama Mia, and cast member of 2022-23 Illinois All State Theatre production. Blake will pursue a career in animal science after attending college and Veterinary Medical School.

She is a nearly 13-year member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Lake Spivey (GA) and Western Cook County (IL) chapters. She serves on the Teen Executive Board, is currently Sergeant-at-Arms, and was previously Editor and Treasurer. Sheridan is graduating with the highest honors, Honors with Distinction. She holds memberships in the National Honor Society, Honors Chamber and Bel Canto choirs, and is an Illinois Division II state-ranked vocal competitor. She founded and is President of Fenwick’s first Women in STEM club, is Vice President of the Black Student Union, Student-Faculty Liaison for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Club, a Shield Mentor to the freshmen class, a Student Ambassador, a Delegate for Model United Nations, and played school and club volleyball. Marley has volunteered and worked at Senior care facilities, served as a lead Camp Counselor for special needs children and run her own youth basketball clinic. She has decided to attend Spelman College where she will major in Kinesiology (Health Sciences) with a concentration in Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation. She would ultimately like to work for a top tier hospital rehabilitation facility or a professional sports team, in addition to creating designs and doing something in fashion.

Miss Olivia Thompson is the daughter of Drs. Trevonne and Nicole Thompson. She is a homeschooled senior who started college at 16 and has earned a 4.0 GPA throughout her high school career. She has been a member of the Western Cook County Chapter of Jack and Jill for twelve years, where she served as Chaplain, Vice President, and President. Olivia has been a fellow on a U.S. congressional campaign, participated in varsity rowing for four years, and has trained and performed as an ariel artist. She is the events and activities coordinator for The Youth Committee for Change and was an avid member of Model UN. She has received $280,000 in scholarship funds and plans to major in Political Science and Film. Olivia will be attending a top university in the fall.

Cameren Alexis Truelove, daughter of Ms. Leslie Truelove and Mr. Richard Truelove is a senior at Oak Park and River Forest High School, in Oak Park, Il. She has been a member of the Western Cook County Chapter for ten years; and is a past Teen Parliamentarian and Foundation Chair. Cameren is a multifaceted Honor student -- awards include, Illinois State Scholar, Spanish Honor Society inductee, College Board African American Scholar, and 2023 Illinois All-State Musical cast member. She also studied Spanish in a 4-week Spanish Immersion summer program in Barcelona, Spain. Cameren enjoys singing, dancing, and performing in musicals. During her high school career, she’s sung with True Colors, an all People of Color acapella group, and with the schools Honors Chorus; she serves as Show Choir Spirit Captain; and has performed in five musicals, including the Illinois All-State performance of Shrek the Musical. She also has expanded her theater experience by serving as Production Assistant for a community theatre production. In the fall, Cameren will attend DePaul University, School of Cinematic Arts in Chicago, and will pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Television. She intends to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Mario Davis Jr. is a senior at Lincoln Park High School in Chicago, IL and is the son of Mario Davis, Sr. and Leslie Davis. Mario has been an active member of the Windy City Chapter for ten years. Mario served as Teen President in the past program year and in prior years he served as Teen Treasurer and Teen Technology Chair. Mario enjoys giving back through community service and fundraising. He earned the President’s National Service Volunteer Award and has raised over $5,000 in support of our annual Double Good fundraiser. Mario is a founding member of the Good $ense Investment Club, a contributor to On the Money Magazine, and has spoken publicly on the topic of financial literacy and investing. Mario is a JP Morgan Chase Fellow and a Chicago Scholars Scholar. Mario plans to major in Business with a concentration in Finance.

Bryce Griffin is a senior at Marist High School in Chicago, IL and is the son of Dr. D. Darrell and Chereese Griffin. He has been a member of the Windy City Chapter for fifteen years. He is an active member in his church and a leader at his school where he was chosen as a Student Ambassador and a Peer Leader. In Jack and Jill, Bryce currently holds the position of Parliamentarian. Bryce has decided to attend Morehouse College where he will major in Business Administration and one day work in Sports Management.

Keeland Jordan is a graduate of Leo Catholic High School in Chicago, IL and is the son of Eddie Jordan and Kourtnee Palamore. Keeland has been a member of the Windy City Chapter for fourteen years. He currently serves as Sergeant at Arms for the Teen Club. His favorite Jack and Jill memories are the beach party at TLC 2019 in Chicago and learning to ski/snowboard at Winter Escape. He is a member of Top Teens of America, Evergreen Park Chapter and the Chicago Park District Teen Leadership Connection. During his senior year, Keeland earned the role of captain of the Varsity basketball team. In 2022, Keeland was instrumental in helping his team win the Chicago Catholic League Basketball Championship with a record of 25-5. Keeland enjoys helping others. He is a member of the National Honors Society, through which he tutors students at St. Sabina school. He is a proud Lifeguard for Chicago’s beaches and pools. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging with friends and family. He plans to attend an HBCU in the fall to study Psychology.

Reagan Nevels is a senior at Fitch High School in Austintown Ohio and is the daughter of Emmitt and Kacie Nevels. She has been a member of the Youngstown Chapter for nine years. She has served countless community service hours within soup kitchens, dance volunteer work in charter schools, toy/food drives, and more. She has also traveled the country inspiring people of all ages, that no matter how young or old they are, they still have the opportunity to make their dreams their reality. She has shared this message on stages with people such as Bishop T.D. Jakes, Lisa Nichols, and Iyanla Vanzant. Reagan is an award winning, two time published author. She conveys the importance of living your life to your fullest potential regardless of your present circumstances in her books “Vision Collision” and “Why Wait? Your Time is Now!” She has decided to attend Spring Arbor University in Michigan where she will receive her bachelors and masters degrees in business administration and real estate. Reagan has a will to make all of her dreams her reality, show people how they can do it too, and trust in the will of God to help her do so.

Gabrielle Antoinette Allen is a senior at Salem High School in Canton, Michigan. She is the daughter of Jené and André Allen. She has been a member of the Ypsilanti chapter for nine years. Gabrielle previously served as legislative co-chair and later served as legislative chair. She currently serves as co-chair of the community service committee. A dedicated 3-sport athlete, she’s active in gymnastics, track, and cheer. She recently created a racial injustice symposium to educate fellow students at her high school. Gabrielle plans to study criminal justice in college and aspires to become a criminal defense lawyer.

Tyler Lamar Bond is a senior at Salem High School in Canton, Michigan, and is the son of Tyrun and Gwendolyn Bond. He is a member of the Ypsilanti Chapter for six years. Tyler has previously served the Teen Group as the Foundation Chair and is currently the Parliamentarian. Tyler is a member of the Detroit Chapter Kappa League where he currently serves as Historian. At Salem, he was on the Varsity football team and a member of the Black Student Union. Tyler plans to study pre-law in college.

Lawrence Millben IV is a senior at Salem High School in Canton, Michigan, and is the son of Lawrence and LaTonya Millben. He has been a member of the Ypsilanti Chapter for eight years. Lawrence is a member of the AAYI Kappa League and has a passion for music production and art. He plans to attend college and study Music Business/ Management and Music Production.
