Greetings Teens of the Mighty Mid-Western Region!

I am Cole Reed, your Regional Teen President for the 2024-2025 program year, and I hail from the Incredible Indianapolis Chapter It is my honor to welcome you to the 71st Annual Mid-Western Region Teen Leadership Conference at Western Michigan University in the captivating city of Kalamazoo! Throughout this program year, I have truly seen the power of leadership, innovation, and decisiveness My fellow Regional Teen Officers and I have been hard at work to ensure a conference that features something for every teen, ensuring everyone finds TLC to be an enjoyable experience never to forget

Through this year’s theme of “Empowerment Through Unity: Stronger Together”, we are especially reminded that in today’s America, it is more important than ever for us as young African Americans to stand together. In a time marked by division and uncertainty, our strength lies in our unity, where we will lift each other, support one another, and push forward as one. The challenges we face are real, but so is our resilience. Whether in school, sports, service, leadership, or within Jack and Jill, we show up, strive, and shine as a powerful community united. When we come together, we are unstoppable. So, as you move through this Teen Leadership Conference, embrace every moment, every connection, and every opportunity to rise together.

Welcome to the 71st Annual Mid-Western Region Teen Leadership Conference!

I am Payton Kitchen and I’m honored to serve as your Regional Teen Vice President for the 2024-2025 program year I hail from the illustrious Ypsilanti chapter and I am overjoyed to welcome you to the many exciting plans we’ve put together for the 2025 Teen Leadership Conference at Western Michigan University

Over this program year, I’ve worked to prepare a dynamic programming itinerary that includes a first-class journey to new heights and leaves a dynamic legacy behind. I set out to ensure we’d soar and have the legislative involvement needed for the current times. Bringing together teens' ideas and input has been a rewarding experience, and I hope that each of you feels as though you have been heard, your opinions valued, and that your input has had an impact. I implore you to have the best time at the 2025 Teen Leadership Conference. We have so much in store for you!

This year's theme is “Empowerment Through Unity: Stronger Together.” I earnestly believe that we are empowered when we work with one another to stretch our minds, increase our abilities to learn new things, and foster each other's strengths. I can't wait to see how the JJMWR teens express this year’s theme. Coming together allows us to be our best, and I’m excited to witness the dynamic engagement between teens across the region because when we unite together, we’re unstoppable

Greetings Mighty Mid-Western Region!

My name is Gregory Mitchell, and I am your Regional Teen Treasurer for the 2024-2025 program year I hail from the superb Five Star South Suburban Chicago Chapter, and it is both an honor and a pleasure to welcome you to the 71st Mid-Western Region Teen Leadership Conference at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo!

This year has been an incredible journey for all of us, especially for the other officers and me The Regional Teen Leaders and Regional Executive Board have worked tirelessly to make this Teen Leadership Conference not just memorable, but exceptional. It’s been a labor of love, and we’re so proud to share the results of our hard work with all of you.

First, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the mothers in the region Without your support, none of this would be possible You constantly inspire us to be the best leaders we can be and provide invaluable guidance in so many areas of life The presence of the hundreds of teens in attendance is a testament to your commitment to nurturing future Black leaders

I also want to thank the fathers involved in the Father’s Auxiliary and the Jack Pack You play a vital role in ensuring the safety of the teens and mothers at TLC, and you handle this responsibility with dedication and care I hope you enjoy the special Fathers’ Breakfast we’ve planned for you on Father’s Day

Lastly, I want to extend my appreciation to all the teens across the region Your support of the Regional Teen Leaders and your energy, creativity, and motivation inspire us to keep raising the bar to create the best experiences possible. Thank you for your continued encouragement and participation. We can’t wait to see all the incredible things each of you will accomplish in the years ahead!

Since the beginning of this program year, we’ve been committed to making this TLC one of the best yet Our goal has been to bring our theme, “Empowerment Through Unity: Stronger Together”, to life by celebrating the unique strengths and talents each of you brings to the table. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is truly extraordinary; it’s a space where we grow as leaders, build lifelong friendships, and celebrate black excellence. It is with heartfelt excitement that I welcome you to the 71st Annual Mid-Western Region Teen Leadership Conference! My name is Nia Wilson, and I am a proud member of the two-time Five-Star Motor City Chapter I’m truly honored to serve as your Regional Teen Secretary for the 2024–2025 program year. The countdown is over, and the moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here!

This year’s theme, “Empowerment Through Unity: Stronger Together”, speaks volumes It’s not just a message, it’s a movement It reminds us that real strength is found when we uplift one another when we choose connection over competition, and when we show up for ourselves and our communities with purpose and pride

Over the past nine months, the Regional Teen Executive Board has worked with passion, commitment, and collaboration to bring this vision to life From workshops and special events to inspiring speakers and powerful teen-led moments, every part of this conference has been designed with YOU in mind We hope you walk away from this experience feeling more confident, connected, and empowered than ever

Jack and Jill has been more than just an organization for me, it’s been a space where I’ve grown in ways I never imagined. I am Sydney Fletcher, your 2024-2025 Regional Teen Foundation Chair. I hail from the Amazing Ann Arbor Chapter, which has been dream-driven and elevating the experience for 47 years.

We hold the power to shape what lies ahead With vision, passion, and unwavering drive, we are more than capable of leading meaningful change Let’s keep our momentum strong as we work together to leave a powerful and lasting impact

Our strength is rooted in the values we uphold: family, knowledge, leadership, and unity. These guiding principles are the fuel behind the progress we strive to create, both in our communities and across the globe.

At the 2025 Teen Leadership Conference, themed “Empowerment Through Unity: Stronger Together”, we reflect on the trailblazers who opened doors before us. Their courage set the stage but now, it’s our turn to lead. This position has given me the chance to connect with teens across the region, and I’m honored to be part of the progress we’re making side by side.

When I chose to run for Regional Teen Foundation Chair, it was driven by a deep commitment to service Giving back has always been close to my heart Jack and Jill thrive on that same spirit I truly believe in the magic that happens when we come together with purpose. We are thrilled to express a sincere and warm welcome to the 71st Annual Teen Leadership Conference Our commitment to the growth, empowerment, and inspiration of our teen leaders is evidenced by the execution of this year’s theme, “Empowerment through Unity – Stronger Together”. You will witness several changes that we hope will have you excited about your time here in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Each of our 2024-2025 Regional Teen Officers have kept us challenged with their brilliant ideas and consistent perseverance We are profoundly proud of how we have seen them develop as leaders, collaborate as peers, and connect as friends We are positive that the example of our Regional Teen Officers will be an inspiration to the other teens within our region to want to both lead and excel It has been an honor to work with these phenomenal individuals as they have engaged and provided input on each and every detail of this conference.

Our amazing Regional Teen Officers have been tireless and selfless with their time and their talents as they worked together to provide exceptional experiences for the teens of our region and impactful service for our communities The Legacy, the dream of our RTP Cole Reed, an inaugural event to provide increased social time for the teens of the Mid-West Region and The impact that the work of our leaders will stretch far beyond this program year As we experience the 2025 Teen Leadership Conference together, we invite you all to take some moments in time to reflect on the positive, unique, and creative ways that the commitment to our organizational mission is demonstrated.

Our Regional Executive Board, under the extraordinary leadership of our Regional Director, Cynthia Miree Coppin, has been both supportive and encouraging for each of our Regional Teen Officers For this, we are grateful beyond what words will ever express This TLC will be an extraordinary experience for all of us, and none of this would be possible without the partnership, reliability, and sacrifices of our Regional Executive Board

There is nothing like the energy, joy, and passion that fills the air when we gather for this incredible event. Seeing all of your smiling faces, ready to lead, learn, serve, and connect, reminds us why this conference is so special.

Regional Teen Leaders, Regional Team members, and our dedicated hosts, the Michigan Center of Excellence (COE) have worked tirelessly over the last several months planning TLC Thank you to everyone for their commitment to making this year’s conference a success and ensuring it appropriately reflects the vision of the 2024-2025 RTO and other Teen Leaders. Your hard work and dedication set the foundation for an empowering experience that will leave a lasting impact.

Our theme this year, “Empowerment through Unity: Stronger Together, ” was chosen by teens at last year’s TLC At the time, we couldn’t have predicted just how profoundly it would resonate with the challenges we face today In today’s world, unity is not just important, it is essential. Now more than ever, we must lift each other up, stand together, and be bold in our pursuit of justice and equal access to resources for all children. This conference is more than just an event; it is a demonstration of the power of young leaders to drive meaningful change

THE MID-WESTERN REGION WAS THE SITE OF THE FIRST TEEN COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT, WHICH WAS HELD AT THE 1998 TEEN CONFERENCE HOSTED BY THE WESTERN COOK COUNTY CHAPTER. THIS CONCEPT WAS PRESENTED TO THE FOUNDATION AT ITS 1998 BOARD MEETING BY MID-WESTERN MEMBER-ATLARGE ALICE LEIGH PEOPLES.

Mikayla Eccleston

Mikayla is a senior at Greenhills in Ann Arbor, Michigan She is the daughter of Anthony Eccleston and Migdalia Musler She has been a member of the Ann Arbor Jack and Jill Chapter for 15 years. In Jack and Jill, Mikayla currently serves as the chapter's Vice President and was previously a Teen Treasurer and Foundation Chair. In school, Mikayla is a co-leader of the Black Students Alliance Association. She participated in the public speaking team for all four years in a variety of events, and worked in her school's service department, providing volunteer opportunities for students in her community. Outside of school, Mikayla served on Kroger's first National Zero Hunger Zero Waste Youth Advisory Council for two consecutive years. She also worked as a research assistant for two different projects at the University of Michigan, volunteers at her local animal humane society shelter, and is a trained peer educator for reproductive justice and teen dating violence. Mikayla is passionate about addressing public health disparities and will major in Biology, Health, and Society, pursuing a pre-med track.

Brock Merritt

Brock is a senior at Greenhills school in Ann Arbor, MI, is the son of Brandy and Leonard Merritt, and big brother to Logan. A proud JJ "lifer," he cherishes his joyful, early years with the Southwestern Michigan and Oakland County Chapters. Supported by family and encouraged by JJ Moms, Dads, and Associates, Brock has always felt uplifted by our community. His JJ journey included becoming a published third grade author by winning a national writing contest, traveling to Black Wall Street, On The Hill in D.C., USTA in Martha's Vineyard, COPA in NYC, and a cruise to Spain, France & Italy. His JJ experiences, from regional/national conferences to Morehouse Jacks in the House, have helped shape who he is today. As Teen President of the Amazing Ann Arbor Chapter, Brock leads with dedication and pride. Fluent in Spanish, he is also a tutor, lifeguard, Biology Club President, Black Student Alliance President, Model UN Delegate, three-sport varsity athlete, and a medical mission volunteer in Belize. He accepted a biomedical engineering summer internship at Duke University. Brock will begin college this fall and plans to attend medical school, honoring his JJ legacy to lead with heart and serve with purpose.

Donvan Fullwood

Donovan Fullwood is a senior at Lafayette High School in Lexington, Kentucky, and is the son of Archie and Sonia Fullwood He has been a member of the Central Kentucky Chapter for 15 years, serving in the roles of Foundation Chair, Parliamentarian, and Recording Secretary He serves the community through volunteering as a member of the National Honors Society, and he is a member of the Varsity baseball team He plans to attend either Embry Riddle University or Eastern Kentucky University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Aviation, and he will go on to become a commercial or private pilot

Brooklyn Rayne Mayo is a senior dance major at SCAPA Lafayette High School in Lexington, KY. She is the daughter of Brian and LaToi Mayo, Esquire. She has been a member of the Central Kentucky Chapter of Jack and Jill for 7 years. She is currently the President of the Teen Revolution group of her Chapter and has served as the former Vice President and Recording Secretary. She is a Governor Schools of Arts past program participant, a 2024 Delta Debutante and a founding member of the African American Ballet Troupe, a local community service organization dedicated to exposing African American children to performing arts on stage. Brooklyn intends to attend a four-year small liberal arts college away from home; however, she is undecided about her major and current career choice. She has a passion for the arts and performing on stage while giving back to her community, so she plans to continue her pursuit of the arts in combination with her future academic endeavors with an objective to improve the lives of all children in her community.

Dylan Bomar is a senior at Oak Park River Forest High School in Oak Park, Illinois and is the son of Deric and Valarie Bomar. He has been a member of the Chicago Chapter for 16 years. Dylan enjoys giving back to his community particularly in the area of hunger and has approximately 80 volunteer hours at his local food pantry. Dylan was a shooting guard his Freshman year and specialized in hurdles his Sophomore year where he transitioned to track and field. Dylan intends to obtain a B.S. in nursing and is currently pursuing his nursing assistant certification. He is passionate about ending the disparity of quality healthcare in the black community. Kailee Brown is a senior at Morgan Park Academy in Chicago, Illinois, and the daughter of Leroy and Miyoshi Brown. A dedicated member of the Chicago Chapter for six years, she has volunteered with the Black Boy Literacy Campaign. Kailee actively contributes as a committee member of The Arts Council and Diversity Council and serves as president of The Culinary Club. She has applied to several HBCUs, aiming to major in Architecture and Sociology. Kailee is passionate about using her education to make a positive impact in her community and beyond.

Carly Crudup is a senior at Whitney M. Young High School in Chicago, Illinois, and she is the daughter of Drs. Carlos and Samara Crudup. She has been a member of the Chicago Chapter for 14 years. This year she held the position of Co-Sargent in Arms. Carly plans to major in animal science (with an emphasis in animal behavior ) or marine biology and minor in art. A gifted artist, Carly expresses her creativity through painting and has contributed to numerous mural projects throughout the City of Chicago and beyond, especially in underserved areas. These murals aim to inspire, reflecting Carly's desire to use her talents for uplifting her community. Caitlin Robinson is a senior at Jones College Prep High School in Chicago, Illinois. She is the daughter of Dr. Sam Robinson and Mrs. Carla Robinson and has been a member of the Chicago Chapter for 16 years. A performing arts enthusiast, Caitlin is active in Jones theater and improv and has attended several selective acting programs. She is a member of the National Honor Society and was named an American Heart Association Teen of Impact. Caitlin plans to pursue a degree in nursing while also studying acting and later continue her education to become a physician associate.

Rachel Starghill is a senior at Sycamore High School in Montgomery, Ohio and the daughter of Robert and Rhonda Starghill Rachel has been a member of the Cincinnati Chapter of Jack and Jill for 4 years In that time, she has served as a Regional Teen Committee Chair, Chapter President, Chapter Vice President, Chapter Treasurer and Super Saturday Co-Chair Outside of Jack and Jill, Rachel is an active participant in DECA; she was as an Executive Vice President for Ohio DECA, Sycamore's Chapter President and placed in the top 10 in the nation for her DECA competitions for three straight years Rachel is also an officer in her school's Chinese Club, a member of the National Honor Society, and works part-time at the local library Rachel plans to attend a four-year university where she will major in speech and language sciences or business and will minor in Mandarin Chinese

Andrew Stephen Williams is a senior at Mt. Carmel High School in Chicago, IL. He is the son of DeAndre Williams, M.D. and Patricia Robinson, M.D. He has been a member of the Chicago Chapter since group 1. His leadership roles in the teen group include serving as the parliamentarian and on the nominating committee. At Mr. Carmel, Drew served as a peer leader and was on the varsity basketball team, where he competed in the IL state finals. He plays the cello and was a member of the Hyde Park Youth Symphony. Drew is committed to community service and has raised funds for cancer research. He plans to attend the University of Arizona, Eller's School of Management and major in finance. JACK

Jonathan Parrish Whitlock is a senior at William Mason High School in Mason, Ohio, and he is the son of Sherry and James Whitlock II. Jonathan has been a member of the Cincinnati Chapter for 10 years and has thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Jonathan has held the positions of Parliamentarian, Community Service Chair, Sergeant at Arms and Super Saturday Symposium committee member. His community involvement includes Midwest Region Black Family Reunion Celebration and volunteering as an iSpace summer camp counselor. At Mason High School Jonathan was a varsity football coaching assistant and a member of the wrestling team. He also participated in Young Life, Black Student Union and the Culinary Club. Jonathan is currently a member of the Zion Global Ministries Legacy program for young men and a Children's Church Assistant. Jonathan has decided to attend University of Cincinnati where he will major in Sports Administration with the aspiration of becoming a Sports Agent.

Alexander Miles Belton is the son of Marc and Alicia Belton and is a senior at Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has been a member of the City of Lakes Chapter for fourteen years, where he has served as Teen Chair of the Fundraising Committee. He has served in the Minnehaha Academy Leadership Institute for three years and as CoCaptain of the Alpine Racing Ski team for two years. He has played and lettered in varsity baseball and band for four years. An avid jazz saxophone musician, Alexander received a superior rating as part of the Minnesota State Band Ensemble. Alexander has decided to attend Loyola Marymount University where he will major in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing.

Jayda Joy McAdams-Gill is the daughter of Jill McAdams and Keith Gill and a 2025 graduating senior from Mounds View High School. Jayda is a National Honor Society member that enjoys participating in Youth In Government, DECA and Black Student Union activities. She is a four-time state champion in competitive marching band and color guard, a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a co-captain on the JV Tennis team and she also enjoys singing in musical theatre productions.

Jayda served her final two years in Jack & Jill of America as the Teen Vice President and TLC delegate for the City of Lakes Chapter. She loves to cook, create multi-media art, watch anime and hang out with friends. Jayda will attend the college of her choice in the fall where she intends to study Clinical Psychology and Art so she can help young people manage their mental health and behavioral needs in the future. Jayda would like to thank her mom and all of the chapter moms in the City of Lakes Chapter that helped her grow into the confident female leader that she has become today.

Miles Newton is a senior at Breck School in Golden Valley, Minnesota and is the son of Milt Newton and Shalaun Newton. Miles has been a member of the City of Lakes Chapter for ten years and Prince George's County Chapter for four. He co-leads the Breck Lighthouse, a mentorship group for Black middle school boys. Through the Breck Community Partners Program, he volunteers weekly at various nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities. He's also a four-year letterman, two-year co-captain and starter for the Breck Boys Varsity Basketball Team, winning the 2024 MSHSL 2A State Championship and this year, Third Place. A two-time recipient of the State All-Tournament Team Award and IMAC AllConference Honorable. 2025 IMAC Player of the Year and achieved 1,000 high school career points. Two years on AAU Circuit Teams: Nike EYBL and Puma NXTPRO. In addition, Miles is a former competitive swimmer, holds a State record and became a certified lifeguard in 2022. He is being recruited for basketball and his college decision has not been made. He plans to major in Sports Management and pursue the NBA.

Kali Mariah Boyd, daughter of Derek Funderburk, Crystal Boyd Funderburk and Ali Boyd, is a senior at Walsh Jesuit High School. During high school, Kali participated in Show/Chamber/A Cappella Choir, Center Stage Theater, Students Across Culture, Philanthropy Club, Kairos, and Wellness Club. Kali has attended music and art learning conventions and participated in University of Akron’s Women in S.T.E.M. program. Kali has acquired a four-year, paid internship with the Federal Reserve Bank of America. In her free time, she tutors elementary school kids in Akron. She loves art, music, learning about different cultures, and helping people in any way she possibly can. Although Kali has only been an active member of Jack & Jill since 2022, she has gained so many opportunities since joining. Kali is currently serving as Chapter President and previously served as Corresponding Secretary of the Cleveland Teen Chapter. Carson Porter Burrows, son of Mr. Grady Burrows and Dr. Melissa Burrows, is a senior at Hawken High School. A creative thinker, Carson enjoys exploring new ideas and developing innovative solutions. He aspires to become a graphic designer, using his artistic abilities to make an impact. Beyond academics, Carson has been involved in various extracurricular activities. Philip Mays Colvin, son of Reverend Doctor Jawanza Karriem Colvin and Allison Jaynes Colvin, is a senior at University School in Hunting Valley, OH. Philip has been a member of Jack and Jill, Cleveland Chapter since 2014. He’s held the position of Chaplain and currently serves as Vice President. Philip is a stellar student, athlete, and leader. He has achieved high academic success by excelling in his AP courses. His love for sports and fitness led him to participate in triathlons, AAU track and field, earn varsity letters in both cross country and track and field and currently serve as captain of his track team. His leadership skills extend into the workforce as a shift manager for the past 3 years. While balancing his academic, athletics and work, Philip enjoys playing his guitar and acting in his high school’s theater performances. Philip is an advocate and mentor, and has fulfilled countless hours of community service at his church, and the Cleveland Food Bank. Philip is a world traveler having been to Morocco, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, and the Caribbean. Chandler Elijah Cummings, son of Lisa and Kyo Cummings, is a senior at University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio. He serves on the executive board of The Pembroke Society, an African American affinity group, and co-heads the Financial Literacy Club. He manages the track team and has competed as a sprinter in both indoor and outdoor seasons. As an Anderson Scholar in Entrepreneurship, Chandler has engaged in business-focused coursework, speaker events, and internships. He has also gained professional experience through internships at Third Space Action Lab and Brennan Industries, where he led an inventory project to improve production efficiency. He plans to major in finance and pursue a career in asset management. Outside of school, Chandler is the lead drummer at Ebenezer Assembly of Christ and actively volunteers in his community, participating in food drives and outreach programs. Ava served as the Detroit Chapter Teen Recording Secretary and was elected to the Regional Nominating Committee at the 2024-2025 Mid-Western Teen Leadership Conference. She is also a member of The Co-Ette Club Inc. and served as the Fall Recording Secretary, member of the Junior Board of Directors, and Membership Chair. Kolin Kenneth Siebert is a senior at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School in Detroit, Michigan, and he is the son of Kenneth Siebert and Kimberly Shorter-Siebert, Esq. He has been a Detroit Chapter of Jack and Jill member for 11 years. Kolin embraced leadership with Jack and Jill by serving as the Teen Legislative Chair for the 2024-2025 club year. Some of his fondest experiences include the yearly teen camping trips, Teen Leadership Conference (TLC), and serving on the Teen Executive Board. Kolin takes great pride in his achievements, such as earning a varsity letter in Football. He was active in high school, running track, wrestling, sports broadcasting, and being a car club member. In addition to sports, he has played the trumpet in the Symphonic, Marching, and Jazz bands. She is the founder of Positive Vibes, an award-winning skin care business she started with her mom to encourage self-care. Myles Williams is a senior at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School in Detroit, Michigan. He is the son of Tyree and Randi Williams. He has been a member of the Detroit Jack and Jill Chapter for 7 years. In school, he served as the Co-President of B.A.S.E. (Black Awareness Society for Education), member of the Business Club and the Music Appreciation Club as well as HS and AAU basketball teams. He was pinned as the UJD Senior with the most volunteer service hours for the Class of 2025. In 2023, Myles started his real estate investment business, The Insiders Club, LLC, and started his barber business. He is a participant in INROADS, Inc. CollegeLinks and the outgoing Jack and Jill Detroit Chapter Teen Treasurer and Immediate Past Teen Parliamentarian. Myles was presented to polite society in the Jack and Jill Detroit Chapter’s M.O.T.O.W.N. Beautillion in March 2025. He was awarded the “Brotherhood Award”, which was super special as it was a vote of his fellow Beautillion Beaus. Serene Hameed, a senior at Laurel School and is the daughter of Akil and Felicia Hameed. A dedicated leader, she has been a member of Jack and Jill for seven years and currently serves as the 2024-2025 Mid-Western Regional Teen Communication Co-Chair and Teen Chapter President. She previously held roles as Chapter Vice President and Secretary. At Laurel, Serene is the Vice President of Student Government and Co-President of the Black Student Union, demonstrating her commitment to advocacy and leadership. Beyond academics, she is a Pre-Professional Elite Competitive Dancer, excelling in all genres. Her passion for the arts extends to photography, where she has built her own business. Madisen Washington, daughter of Mark and Ardina Washington, is a bilingual senior at City High School in Grand Rapids, MI, and a 10-year member of Jack and Jill of America, serving two terms as Teen President. She led meetings, organized service projects and fundraisers, and helped raise over $10,000 for local organizations. As Student Government President and Student Ambassador Event Coordinator, she planned events and fundraisers to support student engagement and raised thousands. She helped start her school’s first mock trial team, served as Vice President, and placed second at Regionals. She also competed in Speech & Debate and was a panelist for the National Education Association. Madisen earned All-Conference honors in varsity volleyball and track, was a 3x AAU Junior Olympian, and served as team captain. Karrington Cosey is a senior at Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan. She is the daughter of Tiffany King and Kevin Cosey. Karrington currently serves as the Teen Vice President of the Jack and Jill of America, Greater Lansing Chapter, where she has been an active member for three years. She is also involved in the Les Meres et. Debutantes Club and Girl Scouts, where she has led initiatives such as food drives, school supply donations, and the development of a community garden. In addition to these roles, she volunteers at local shelters and participates in events that give back to the community. As an ABC Scholar, he participates in a variety of sports and clubs at Winchester High School. Donald has been a track athlete for all 4 years, a wrestler for 1 year, and a volleyball player for 2 years. Jada led her high school cheer team to state titles her Freshman and Senior years. Jada has been an active and highly engaged student at her high school. She was selected to lead orientation sessions for incoming students and she was voted by her peers to be a grade-level representative on student council for her sophomore, junior and senior years. Additionally, Jada participated in her school's dance marathon and raised funds to support the event's philanthropic mission. She has been a member of the Indianapolis Jack and Jill Chapter for 11 years. Karrington is an active member of the Brebeuf Black Student Union and serves as a senior mentor, orientation leader, and led one of the 2025 sophomore retreats. A dynamic leader, Cole serves as the Mid-Western Regional Teen President and previously served as Regional Teen Treasurer, Regional Teen Committee CoChair for Strategic Planning, and Teen Foundation Chair. Cole was an AP Scholar with Distinction at Park Tudor School in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he excelled both in academics and extracurricular activities. He participated in the 2025 Beautillion Militaire Scholarship program sponsored by the 100 Black Men of Indianapolis and was selected as a Center for Leadership Development Scholar. Cole plans to pursue a degree in International Business with a minor in Computer Science.

Debutante Kennedy Dayna Bolton, a senior at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School in Chicago, maintains a 5.11 GPA and is the daughter of Dana and Ola Bolton. A dedicated leader, she is committed to leadership, service, and equity. She currently serves as President of the Lake Shore Chapter, marking the culmination of her 13-year membership. Simone Farid is a senior at The Chicago High School of the Arts in Chicago, Illinois and she is the daughter of Michelle Pierre-Farid and Wali Farid. Simone has been a member of Jack and Jill since 2013, when she joined the Cleveland Chapter, and then in 2018, she transferred to the Lake Shore Chapter in Chicago. Simone has been in the theater conservatory and has performed in numerous shows but her most memorable is playing the mother of Mathew Shepherd in the Laramie Project. Also being lead in “What Once Was” as the character Dylan. Simone has also directed her first play, “Alice in Wonderland." Simone is a member of Zeta Phi Beta auxiliary - Archonettes. She has been the president of the Amicettes and has been awarded for Leadership and Sincerity. She has participated in numerous community service events such as writing to Veterans, creating homeless care bags, and creating a commercial for St. Jude's Children’s Hospital. Milan Hill, daughter of Tina and Camron McGarity, is a dedicated senior at Jones College Preparatory in Chicago, Illinois. She has been a member of Magnificent Mile since 2023, serving as both chapter president and service chair. Passionate about STEM, Milan served as the varsity Robot Tour team captain within the Science Olympiad club, where she secured first place at regionals for two consecutive years and fifth place at state. As president of Women in STEM, she organized suturing and engineering workshops, along with speaker panels, inspiring young women to pursue STEM. Beyond STEM, Milan served as a class representative within the student government for two years. She has been awarded an AP Scholar with Honors, completed 10 AP courses, and maintained a 4.9 GPA. Greer Key Waller, daughter of Valerie Barker Waller and Steven Waller, is a senior and honors with distinction student at St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, Illinois. She has been in the Magnificent Mile Chapter since its chartering in 2020. Impactfully serving as Teen Secretary and then Vice President, Greer received the Chapter’s Outstanding Leadership Award and earned Outstanding Volunteer Service Awards three years in a row. Greer is a National Honor Society and French National Honor Society inductee, National Merit Commended Student, and AP Scholar with Honor Award recipient. A multi-sport athlete and team captain, Greer is a three-time varsity letterman and State champion in cross country, where she was named to the All-Conference Academic Team. Greer’s other high school extracurricular activities included leadership and membership roles in Ethics Bowl, Fashion Club, Catholic Youth Climate Summit, French Club, Arrupe Mentor Corps, and BOSS. Jeremiah I. Johnson attends the Bullis School and is the son of Jasmine M. Johnson. Prior to Bullis, he attended Marquette University High School. He competed in Varsity Basketball at both schools, helping both teams win their first State Championship in school history, making Jeremiah a 2x back-to-back State Champion in TWO different States. He's been a member of the Milwaukee Chapter since 2017 and has served as Chaplain. Jeremiah was selected as the first Aquatics Ambassador for Milwaukee County helping to address the disparities of the rate at which children of color drown by teaching water safety classes and also became a Certified Lifeguard. Jeremiah also serves as the 6th District Youth Councilman for the City of Milwaukee and was awarded the inaugural Emerging Leader by the City of Milwaukee in 2023. Lauren Brooke Dodd is a senior at Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Milton and Kendra Dodd. A dedicated Minneapolis Chapter member for twelve years, Lauren has served as Chapter Vice President (2 years) and Treasurer. Elise Michele Hardy is a senior honors student at East Ridge High School in Woodbury, Minnesota and is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Cordell and Amelia Hardy. She has been a member of the Minneapolis Chapter of Jack and Jill, Inc. for 11 years. Elise has served as the Teen Nominating Committee chair and is the Recording Secretary. She is a member of INROADS and volunteers at her church. Elise is an accomplished model and dancer who has been performing for 14 years. Haleigh Cameron is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew and Janissa Cameron. She is a senior at Mercy High School and is a member of Mercy Varsity Swim and Dive, Junior Classical League, and Quiz Bowl. Outside of School, Haleigh is the President of The Co-Ette Club Inc., served as President of the Motor City Chapter Teens, and Vice President of the Southfield AKATeens. Haleigh has been a member of the Motor City Chapter for fifteen years. The highlight of her membership was attending the 2023 On the Hill Legislative Summit where she met Vice President Kamala Harris. Throughout high school, she earned numerous recognitions: JJOA Youth Service Gold Recognition Award, The Spirit of Detroit Award for Community Service, AKATeen Miss Congeniality and Community Service Recognition Awards, National College Board PSAT African American Recognition, Google Code Next Detroit team member, Mercy National Honor Society Member, Wolverine Pathways Scholarship recipient and a 2023 Detroit Cotillion Society Debutante. Micah Solomon Wimberley is the son of Kerwin and Zaundra Wimberley of Detroit, Michigan. He has been a member of the Jack and Jill Motor City Chapter for eleven years. He currently serves as the Teen Sergeant-at-Arms. Micah loves his family and friends; he enjoyed his time in the organization because several of his Jack and Jill friends and their moms became like family/aunties to him. Micah will graduate from the University of Detroit Jesuit High School in Detroit in the spring. He was an active member of his high school basketball team, travel basketball team, the Bulldogs and B.A.S.E. He truly embraces the spirit of a “man for others” and a gentleman. Hayden Howard attends Detroit Country Day School and is the son of Reeshemah and Hills Howard III. At school, Hayden is Co-President of the Communications Club, Vice President of the Electric Car Club, and a member of the track and field team. Previously, he was Vice President of the Film Board, a state forensics competitor, and a cross-country athlete. Hayden, a yearly magna cum laude student, achieved a Scholar Athlete Award this year. He was elected President of Pontiac Kappa League twice after being Vice President. He participates in Midnight Golf. Hayden has been in the North Oakland/Macomb Chapter for 12 years. Jarad has excelled academically and was recognized by Rochester Community Schools as a 2025 Scholar of Achievement. Jamian is also deeply involved in the Kappa League chapter of Evanston, where he has held several leadership positions and currently serves as the teen president. While he has not yet made a final decision on his college choice, Jamian plans to attend an HBCU with a strong computer science program, his intended major.

Richard Audley Phillips Jr (“Brady”) is a senior at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts

The son of Dr Richard Phillips and Kijsa Phillips, he has been an active member of the North Shore Chapter of Jack and Jill since 2014. At Andover, Brady serves as a faculty-selected residential proctor, a peer Spanish tutor, and a leader in the Brotherhood organization, which uplifts and empowers Black and Latino male students on campus. He also mentors younger students through the AF-LAT-AM mentoring program and volunteers as an ESL instructor at a community center in the greater Boston area. Brady is passionate about language, culture, and economics. Spending time abroad in Spain with the Tovo Academy, Brady furthered his understanding of and connection with the Spanish language and culture. A 2024 Yale Young Global Scholars alum, he completed a capstone project on Global Wealth and Inequality, sparking a deeper interest in global finance and equity. Annah Stevenson is a graduating senior at Evanston Township High School in Evanston, IL, and the daughter of Terrance and Regina Stevenson. She has been a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. since 2018 and a member of the North Shore Chapter since 2021. She is active in leadership programs, the ETHS Symphony Orchestra, the National Honor Society and is the current North Shore Teen President. Annah has served as a youth worker with Youth and Opportunity United, where she was inspired to pursue a career in youth growth and development. She plans to pursue her PhD in human ecology with a concentration on youth development and social innovation throughout college. Gabriel Ajani Thompson is a senior at Evanston Township High School in Evanston, IL, and is the son of Dr. Ama Rivers Thompson and Sean Thompson. He has been a member of the North Shore Chapter since 2013. Gabriel is a member of the National Honor Society and participates in the Boule Scholars program. He is also the president of his school’s Art Club, a member of the Ultimate Frisbee Team, and a technology intern. Additionally, Gabriel is an active member of the Evanston Art Center Teen Board. Joshua Myles Campbell, the youngest son of Dr. Sabrina and Mr. Jon Campbell, Sr., is a senior at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He has been a member of the Oakland County Chapter for 13 years. A distinguished scholar-athlete and National Honor Society member, Joshua has received multiple collegiate baseball offers and is recognized as a 2025 MLB Draft Prospect for prep outfielders. As a member of the IMG National Team, he has earned several notable accolades, including being a 2023 MaxPreps National Champion (IMG Player), a Perfect Game National Showcase Player, DIBAT Best Left Field (Puerto Rico), and the recipient of the IMG Academy Baseball Gold Glove Award. He has been in Jack and Jill Oakland County Chapter member for 8 years. John has led multiple organizations from the Model United Nations team to his school’s literary magazine. He is also a prominent athlete, playing 3 years of Varsity tennis and winning the Regional title his senior year.He also took the initiative to create the U of D Real Estate Club, which provides students with opportunities to meet professionals in the industry, learn about the field, and educate themselves on the housing market. He is also committed to service volunteering throughout high school, most significantly at Sinai Grace Hospital during his senior year. She has been a member of the Oakland County chapter for 9 years and before that, she was a member of the Missouri City-Sugar Land chapter for 2 years. Mackenzie has served Oakland County as the teen legislative chair and teen recording secretary. Mackenzie is a compassionate and thoughtful young lady whose life is deeply guided by her strong faith in God. Her love for reading the Bible shapes her perspective and actions, and she consistently seeks to grow in her understanding of scripture. She is a dedicated faith leader at school, and plays an active role in fostering a supportive and spiritually uplifting environment for her peers. He previously served as Recording Secretary and Sophomore Representative. He has fully enjoyed his Jack and Jill experience at the chapter, regional, and national level, having participated in the National Youth Trip in Birmingham, Teen Leadership Conference all four years, On the Hill, National Convention, and the National Cultural Trip to Greece. Christian is also the Historian of the Southfield Kappa League. Christian excels academically, taking Advanced Placement courses. He was a Scholar Athlete on the Groves Wrestling Team. Gabrielle is a stellar athlete and exceptional student who excels in her AP courses. She is a member of the AKA Teens and enjoys community service projects which focus on serving children. As Co-Captain of the Varsity Competitive Cheer team this year, she helped lead her team to an undefeated season, which culminated in winning the District, Regional, and State Championships. Samuel is a member of The National Honor Society, and National Chinese Honor Society, serves as Student Ambassador, and provides meals and clothing to homeless men in the Pontiac area. This year he was chosen to serve as a leader/mentor during the annual Kairos Religious retreat, an exceptional honor. Samuel is the ultimate Scholar-Athlete. Jade Vasser is a Senior at Southfield Christian School in Southfield, Michigan and is the daughter of Jerome and Chelsea Vasser. A 12-year member of the Oakland County Chapter, where Layah has served as the Teen Chapter Editor, Foundation Chair, and Teen Chaplain at the 2024 Midwestern TLC. Layah maintains a 4.5 weighted GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society, founder and chapter president of the Southfield Christian Chapter of HOSA, Junior Board member of the Co-Ette club, runs varsity cross country and track, played girls basketball, and participated in competitive dance. Layah received the Spirit of Detroit Award for community service last year. Layah was the youngest employee ever hired as a math tutor at Mathnasium at the age of 15. She also worked as a caddie for two years and at Dairy Queen over the summer. Layah participated in a six-week research program with the Biomedical Career Advancement Program (BCAP) at Wayne State University, where she studied and gave a presentation on Vista Immunology. Morgan Dorothy Johnson Kimmons is the daughter of Gyata and Leslie Kimmons and the younger sister to Layla Kimmons. Morgan has been a member of Jack and Jill, South Suburban Chicago Chapter for 7 years. She attended Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School and has had continued involvement in her school and community. Much of her extracurricular activities involved playing varsity women’s golf, serving as her high school yearbook’s photographer and editor, and being a member of the DECA organization. Morgan has served as Parliamentarian and Vice President in JJSSCC’s teen group and has been committed to the service of others and to her community. Morgan has volunteered numerous hours to community organizations such as: the Ford Heights Boys and Girls Club, South Suburban PADS shelter, Respond Now homeless services, and Hazel Crest 2020 Census. Senior Olivia Angelita Bridges, known as Via, is a senior at Ottawa Hills High School in Ottawa Hills, Ohio She is the daughter of Jonathan and Angelita Bridges and has been a member of the Toledo Chapter for 15 years She currently serves as the Toledo Chapter Teen Parliamentarian and was honored to serve as the Mid-Western Region's Teen Parliamentarian for the 2024 Teen Leadership Conference. She served a two-year term on the Youth Advisory Board for the City of Toledo Parks and Recreation, serving as the board's President during her final year. Via loves the performing arts and was very active in theater and Ottawa Hills Choralier's, the high school honors choir. Nola Fleming is a senior at Naperville Central High School in Naperville, IL, and the daughter of Nicholas and Nicole Fleming. She has been a dedicated member of the West burban Chicago Chapter for eight years, serving as Historian, Recording Secretary, and ntoring Chair. Beyond academics, Nola is deeply involved in her church community, ticipating in the Youth Group and volunteering with the Sign and Praise Choir to uplift d inspire others. A passionate violinist for nine years, she has spent the last two years forming with the Youth Symphony of DuPage, refining her musical artistry and aborative skills. Nola's leadership extends into the workplace, where she began rking at a local candy shop and earned a management position within two years. Her ong work ethic, initiative, and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment reflect her dication and drive. She will continue her education at Aurora University in Aurora, IL, joring in Psychology with a minor in Music. With aspirations of becoming a Child Psychologist, Nola hopes to use her passion for psychology and music to inspire and support young minds.

Alyce Richmond is a senior at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, Illinois and is the aughter of Angelique and Jerry Richmond. She has been a member of the West Suburban hicago Chapter for 13 years. Alyce has been on the teen executive board for 3 years erving as the Foundation Chair as a sophomore, Historian as a junior, and Legislative iaison this previous year. Outside of Jack and Jill, Alyce serves as the President of Neuqua Valley’s largest club, Interact, serving people in the Naperville community. She has also oached recreational gymnastics for the last three years. She has decided to attend Rice University where she will double major in English and Health Science with a minor in Medical Humanities on the pre-med track. Alyce is passionate about helping people of olor attain equal access to healthcare and ultimately intends to pursue a career in pediatric neurology. JACK

ydney Williams is the daughter of Andrea and Michael Williams, II. She attends olingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, Illinois. She has been a member of the West uburban Chicago chapter of Jack and Jill for 10 years. She currently serves as Recording ecretary. She also has served as Parliamentarian and Corresponding Secretary. She has een an Honors & AP student for 4 years. She is involved in the following community and eadership roles: National Honor Society member, BHS Peer Mediator, BHS Student Advisory school and Senior Representative, BHS Soccer Manager, Extended Hands and eet. She plans to attend Alabama State University where she will major in Biology to ecome a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Alexandria Bromwell is a senior at Timothy Christian High School (TCHS) in Elmhurst, Illinois, and is the daughter of Howard and Kelly Bromwell. With a decade of involvement in the Western Cook County Chapter (WCCC), she has served on the Teen Executive Board for two years, taking on roles such as Chaplain, Mindfulness Chair, and contributing to the Wardrobe and Blanket committees. Beyond her work with WCCC, she has been an active member of the Monarch Awards Foundation Teen Esteem program for four years, and the Chicago Chapter of NBMBAA Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) where she has expanded her network and gained a deeper understanding of political processes and advocacy. At TCHS, she has been a Varsity Track and Field athlete for three years and has held leadership positions in Bridge Builders and Yearbook Club. Outside of school, she volunteers at soup kitchens and cares for senior citizens, demonstrating her commitment to service and community. With a strong foundation in leadership, community involvement, and service, Alexandria intends to major in Atmospheric Science in the fall at either Mizzou, Oklahoma, or Penn State.

Keith Jenkins is a senior at Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, Illinois He is the son of Keith and Deidra Jenkins He has been a member of the Western Cook County Chapter for eight years and served as Teen Legislative Chair, and subsequently Teen Nominating Committee Chair Keith is a leader in the Brothers from the Mount focused on creating a space for young men of color to feel included, and he is a high honors roll student He has been an active student athlete playing competitive baseball for over 10 years and a starting player on the junior varsity and varsity high school basketball team Keith is an engaged member of the Lions of Judah ministry, designed to assist teens in developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ His influence and leadership in the ministry have had a positive impact among his peers Keith will be attending the college of his choice in the fall of 2025, majoring in Business Administration Keith has matured into a deeply reflective young man and we are incredibly proud of his accomplishments

Kayla Noelle Jones is a senior at George Westinghouse College Prep High School in Chicago, Illinois, and the daughter of Allen Jones and Nancy Marseille Jones. She has been a member of the Western Cook County Chapter for 16 years and currently serves as the Teen Vice President. Previously, she held the position of Secretary and now chairs the chapter's step team. She has served as the chair of courtesy and protocol, programming, style, budget, and finance committees. Kayla is an honor roll student and serves as the historian for the Girls with a Vision Club. Additionally, she has been a member of the cheerleading team for two years and served as co-captain this year. For 14 years, Kayla has been a dancer with Stairway of the Stars, specializing in tap, jazz, and ballet. She is also the immediate past Companion Advisor (President) of the Rosebud Grand Circle and has previously served as Associate Companion Advisor, Secretary, and Treasurer. Kayla has been dedicated to community service, volunteering annually at Olive Branch Mission, Brainerd Senior Center, Vital Bridges, and Ronald McDonald House. This fall, Kayla will major in nursing and plans to pursue graduate studies in obstetrics and gynecological medicine.

Mack is a graduating senior at IC Catholic Prep in Elmhurst, Illinois. She is the esteemed daughter of Terrance and Micole Mack. Taryn has been an integral member of the Western Cook County Chapter of Jack and Jill for twelve years, serving as Teen President, Vice President, and Nominating Chair. Her dedication to the organization is shown by her involvement in various committees, including Program, Budget/Finance, Skit, Step, and Attire. On a regional level, she served as a Delegate, Alternate Delegate, and was a member of the MWR Choir. Taryn actively participates in her school, consistently, achieving high honor roll success all four years. In her school community, she has participated in basketball, volleyball, and track and was a member of the Lady Knights Dance Team. Demonstrating leadership, she has taken on roles such as Kairos Peer Leader, Knight Ambassador, and manager for both basketball and football teams. Additionally, Taryn's club affiliations include Spanish Club, Theatre Club, Ecology Club, Business Club, Newspaper Club, Liturgical Ministry, and Choir. CJ Morrison is a senior at Oak Park and River Forest High School in Oak Park, Illinois. He is the nephew of Rani Morrison Williams and Enrico Williams and the son of Jennifer Morrison. He has been a member of Western Cook County Chapter for 6 years. In addition to serving as Sergeant at Arms in the Western Cook County Chapter Teen Group, CJ also served as the OPRFHS boys basketball manager and has enjoyed volunteering at the Greater Chicago Food Depository and with WCCC teens serving the unhoused at St Stephens AME Church annually. CJ has decided to attend Grand Valley State University where he will major in Sports Management with the goal of working for a professional sports team or media company.

Saniyah As-Salaam is a senior at Kenwood Academy High School in Chicago, IL and she is daughter of Mrs. Veronica and Dr. Sahlih As-Salaam. She has been a member of the Western Cook County Chapter for 9 years. Saniyah is an honor student ranking #7 in her class and volunteers with the National Honor Society, the Electa Chapter No 10, Order of the Eastern Stars in addition to other organizations completing 100+ hours of community service. Saniyah has served in several roles within Jack and Jill of America, Inc. inclusive of Mid-West Regional Teen Communications Committee Co-Chair, Mid-West Regional Teen Nominating Committee Member, Teen Leadership Conference Choir, Teen Leadership Conference – Solo Praise Dancer, Chapter Courtesy Chair, Chapter Editor, Chapter Nominating Committee Chair, and presently Chapter Treasurer. Saniyah is a member of multiple clubs and sports such as the National Honor Society, Varsity Cross-Country Captain, Varsity Track and Field, Varsity Poms, Freshman Mentors, DevUp STEM Program IIT, and Concert Choir where she held positions as student affairs coordinator and presently as secretary. McKinley Carter Boatright is a senior at Gwendolyn Brooks High School in Chicago, Illinois. He is the son of Eugene Boatright & Ciere Boatright. He has been a member of the Windy City chapter for 7 years. McKinley is a dedicated leader in the classroom, on the baseball field, and in Jack & Jill of America. McKinley is the world's best son and coolest big brother. He is a standout player on his school’s varsity baseball team. In addition to his athletic achievements, McKinley is a leader in Windy City. He has served as corresponding secretary, service chair and is currently Windy City’s Teen President. He is an avid volunteer and committed to serving the community. McKinley is an honor student maintaining an impressive GPA while balancing academics and extracurricular activities. McKinley recently participated in a commercial summer real estate program at Harvard University; this program fueled his interest in Business and Finance. Emery was a senior at Whitney Young High School in Chicago, IL, and he is the son of LaTisha and Efrem Williams and Brother of Past Teen Havilland Williams. He has been a member of the Windy City Chapter for 10 years. Emery was Sergeant-at-Arms in the Teen Club of Windy City Jack and Jill Chapter for 2 years. He has also been a member of NSBE Jr. for four years. Emery has decided to attend Morehouse College, where he will major in Computer Engineering and Coding.

Alexander ("Alex") Wright is a senior at St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, Illinois and is the son of Ann Marie Wright and the Honorable James A. Wright. He has been a member of the Windy City Chapter for 16 years. Alex has served as Foundation Chair, Technology Chair, and Chaplain for the Windy City Teen Club. In High School, Alex is a member of the National Honor Society, a 4-year member of the Cross-Country and Track teams, and is Vice President of the Step Team. Alex is a 2nd Degree Black Belt, a member of Kappa League, and is a founding member of the BBBC Investment Club where he has covered the Technology sector for the past 7 years. Alex has decided to attend Morehouse College where he will major in Chemistry.

Paige Nevels is a proud graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center (MCCTC), where she also earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials In the fall, she will begin her next chapter at Spring Arbor University, pursuing a degree in Business Administration Classical ballet has played a central role in Paige’s life, instilling in her a deep sense of dedication, creativity, and resilience In addition to her academic and artistic achievements, Paige is releasing a documentary titled The Story of a Brown Ballerina in late summer The film chronicles the powerful journey she shares with her sister as African-American ballerinas navigating the world of dance as classical ballerinas over the past 14 years Outside of school and dance, Paige is an active volunteer in the youth department and audiovisual ministry at her home church, where her father serves as senior pastor She is deeply grateful for the support of her family, friends, and teachers, and looks forward to the future with faith and excitement

Payton Kitchen is a senior at Canton High School in Canton, Michigan, and the daughter of Fredric and Tallette Kitchen She has been a Ypsilanti Jack and Jill Chapter member for 10 years Payton has served as a Regional Teen Committee Co-Chairs of both Strategic Planning and Programming Committees and currently serves as JJMWR Regional Teen Vice-President She serves as President of her school's Black Student Union and Vice President of The Sorrelles Club Her work with the Wayne County Commissioner Youth Council, where she has written multiple resolutions, one becoming law in the State of Michigan, is attributed to her passion to make a difference in the world She has decided to major in International Business with a minor in Political Science at Howard University and will lead efforts in international policy through an international non-profit to continue serving the community.

Antwan McMullan, Jr., son of Antwan McMullan Sr. and Shanta McMullan, Esq., is a 2025 graduate of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School in Detroit, Michigan. Known by his peers as “AJ”, he has been an active member of the Jack and Jill Ypsilanti Chapter for 10 years, where he has served the teen group as Sergeant-at-Arms, Social Chair, and, most recently, Teen President. He is also President of the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster Chapter of Kappa League. AJ is a scholar-athlete, maintaining First Academic Honors designation while playing running back on the varsity football team, and running the 100m, 200m, and 400m events on the varsity track and field team. He was elected by his peers to be a class representative on his school’s Student Senate and is also a member of the U of D Jesuit Black Awareness Society for Education and the Detroit Midnight Golf Program AJ has been accepted at multiple universities and plans to select an HBCU to continue his studies, majoring in Computer Science and Business

Benjamin Milton is a senior at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is the son of Lyonel and Mia Milton Currently, the Teen Vice President, Benjamin, has been a member of the Ypsilanti Chapter for eight years. Benjamin is a member of the Pioneer Rising Scholars Program and the Action Team, a multi-year NAACP Freedom Fund Scholar and plays for Ann Arbor Rec and Ed basketball team. Ben participates in the University of Michigan College of Engineering’s NAF Future Ready Scholars and the Ross School of Business MReach programs and has been accepted to attend several universities. After graduation, Benjamin plans to pursue his Bachelors degree in the fall.
