How did you hear about our program/pharmacy services?

Through the kindness of a pharmacist.

How has it made a difference in your treatment?

I was coming to the pharmacy every week to pay out of pocket for this medication, sometimes $900 at a time. I had been selling off furniture and even one of our vehicles! I broke down in tears one day at the pharmacy because I was just out of money and out of hope. Then a miracle happened and I was put in touch with your program. I had lost 60 pounds fighting this disease and I was losing, badly. Since starting the medication in April I have had a dramatic turnaround, it has truly been a life saver. I have a ways to go but I am starting to live life again and not be stuck in my bed for days on end. So yes, you could say it has made a difference (laughs)!

What would you like to tell others about the benefits?

This program is a gift, your people there are a gift, everything that has been given to me from your pharmacy has been a gift from God. I was dying, literally, dying from this disease and was ready to just give in. I can’t put a price on the power of hope and being able to see your children and grandchildren grow. The benefit is getting your life back!

How did you hear about our program/pharmacy services?

I have struggled with Lyme Disease and the neurological conditions that go along with long term exposure since I was in my mid-twenties. My medical team has helped me get in touch with patient assistance programs due to the overwhelming cost of my treatments.

How has it made a difference in your treatment?

I can tell you that when you are in very poor health even little things seem like big things. I am in such constant discomfort that I sleep very little and some nights not at all. I was feeling like I was losing my grip on reality and that I was just existing while life was passing me by. That is a very bad feeling and one that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Fortunately, my neurologist put me on the medication that you guys send me and it has made a dramatic difference. It isn’t perfect but it is a huge improvement and that is enough for me to get some sanity back!

What would you like to tell others about the benefits?

I want others to know that you don’t have to suffer in silence, there are good people out there that really want to help and aren’t just trying to take advantage of you in your sickened state. These programs have been nothing short of a miracle for me. Your pharmacy and staff have gone over and above for me on several occasions, calling to get a prescription for me or calling me when it has shipped and then again the next day to make sure I received it. They have even been nice when I waited until I was out of medication to call in to ask for more, which I know I shouldn’t do (laughs)! Thank you and God bless for all the good work you are doing for me and others like me!

At the beginning of August we ran out of samples at Knipper and I have been planning with them on how to make this whole process run smoothly and to get samples out the door immediately once they arrived at Knipper. They are rockstars!!!! I can’t emphasize it enough over email! I couldn’t have asked for any better partnership, they were so responsive and right on top of things. We got almost 700 orders next day air within 4 days (and a long weekend) out the door from Knipper. This is all thanks to them and their efforts and the full team behind the scenes getting all these samples out! We are in such a highly sensitive sample market that this was so important to get these out the door as quickly as we would.

Open Enrollment

Healthcare Benefit Open Enrollment for employees will begin on 12/6 and end on 12/19. Open Enrollment Benefits meetings will be held virtually and on site at locations with a distribution center. Please make an effort to attend. Understanding your benefits offerings is an important part of your total compensation with Knipper Health. It is always important to review your current enrollment, dependent coverage, and beneficiaries as you determine what coverage you would like for 2023.

Please join us!

Retirement Plans such as 401k and Roth enrollment are always open. The end of the year is a good time to consider enrolling or to manage your contribution rate if you’re already in the plan. Also, beneficiaries may need to change, please be sure to review!

How did you hear about our program/pharmacy services?

It was from my regular pharmacy, I was looking at a $750 copay and there was no way I would be able to afford it. We are both retired teachers and with the prices these days that social security check doesn’t stretch far enough to cover something like this! The pharmacy recommended I call the drug maker and see if there was any help they could give me, and I was given your phone number.

How has it made a difference in your treatment?

I was recently diagnosed with a recurring colitis of some sort and have just been feeling awful. I finally got a treatment plan from my doctor only to get the bad news that it was going to be $750 per treatment. Let’s just say I wouldn’t be getting the medicine I need if I didn’t have access to the help you all have been able to provide for me!

What would you like to tell others about the benefits?

I have been telling anyone who will listen to get in touch with your group because I have just felt so well taken care of! Each and every person I talked to has been wonderful, the greatest service I have ever experienced! You are all patient, kind, and beyond helpful! I wish I could clone your outstanding staff/customer service because it sure isn’t like that everywhere else! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
