College of Health Sciences: School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, School of Public Health College of Education: School of Information and Communication Studies, School of Education and Leadership Prior to departure, review your academic plan with your academic advisor and study abroad office. CIEE recommends that you have approximately 6-10 courses pre-approved by your home institution. CIEE also recommends that you do not necessarily expect to fulfill major requirements while abroad. If you need syllabi or detailed course descriptions, please email registrar@ciee.org (with the course code and title). Unfortunately, it can be quite challenging to obtain syllabi from UG. Professors are hesitant to share them, and in some cases, do not have syllabi or only share them when a course begins. Please be prepared for this possibility.
