Today we dock in Thessaloniki, where Paul preached during his second missionary journey and was received by Jason (Acts 17:1–9). Excursion Included: From here, we drive to the ancient city of Philippi, the very place where the gospel first reached European soil. If time allows, we begin at the riverside Baptistery of Lydia, honoring the first recorded convert in Europe, whom Paul baptized along with members of her household (Acts 16:13–15). We continue to the archaeological site of Philippi, where we explore the ruins of the Forum, early Christian Basilicas, the Theater, and the traditional site believed to be the “Prison of Paul” (Acts 16:16–40). Afterward, we return to Thessaloniki with possible free time to enjoy the seaside promenade, visit the White Tower, or explore the city’s local shops and cafés. This evening, we return to our ship for dinner & overnight.

Day 5: Day at Sea (Reflection & Relaxation)

As we sail toward the shores of Turkey, we enjoy a full day at sea for rest, reflection, and leisure. This ship has something for everyone—whether you’re seeking a quiet lounge to read, evening comedy shows and entertainment, or a well-stocked fitness center complete with a jogging track. Guests can take a refreshing dip in the indoor or outdoor pool, or explore the sundeck to take in picturesque views as we hug the Greek coastline. For those feeling hungry, Mediterranean cuisine awaits at the buffet or poolside grill. It’s the perfect day to slow down and savor the journey. Dinner & overnight on the ship.

Day 6: Istanbul

We arrive in Istanbul, once known as Byzantium and later Constantinople—a city central to early Christian development and church history. Excursion Included: Our first day begins with a scenic drive over the Golden Horn to the city’s Old Town. We visit the ancient Hippodrome of Constantinople, a central gathering space during the Byzantine and Ottoman eras. At the Blue Mosque, we admire its six minarets and intricate tilework, followed by a visit to the grand Topkapi Palace, once home to generations of Ottoman sultans. Inside, we stroll through ornate courtyards and view its remarkable treasures—including the famed Topkapi Dagger and a glittering collection of ancient artifacts. We conclude with time at the Istanbul Archaeology Museum, housing relics from the city’s deep Byzantine and Roman-Christian history, before returning to our ship for dinner and overnight. (Overnight stay in Istanbul)

Day 7: Istanbul (Continued)

Today, we continue exploring Istanbul! Excursion Included: We begin the morning with a visit to the iconic Hagia Sophia, originally constructed in 360 A.D. as a Greek Orthodox Basilica and later transformed into a mosque, museum, and now mosque once more. Here, we marvel at its soaring dome, ancient mosaics, and layers of sacred history. Our next stop is the bustling Grand Bazaar, one of the

world’s oldest covered markets, where we navigate through thousands of shops filled with local goods—from jewelry and carpets to spices and handcrafted treasures. We conclude with a demonstration on traditional Turkish carpet weaving before returning to the ship. In the evening, we return to our ship for dinner & overnight.

Day 8: Day at Sea

Today offers another full day at sea. We encourage quiet time for journaling, spiritual reflection, or enjoying the peaceful rhythm of the journey. Whether relaxing at the pool or participating in optional group fellowship, this is a day to recharge. Dinner & overnight on the ship.

Day 9: Ephesus (Kusadasi)

In the morning, we dock in Kusadasi. Excursion Included: Our day begins with a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, believed by many to be where Mary spent her final years. We continue to the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the Seven Churches of Revelation (Revelation 2:1–7) and a place where Paul ministered extensively (Acts 19). Here we’ll explore the open-air museum and walk along marble roads lined with monumental ruins—such as the Library of Celsus, the Fountain of Trajan, and the Great Theater where Paul boldly preached. We visit the Church of the Virgin Mary and the ruins of St. John’s Basilica before enjoying a local Aegean lunch featuring traditional biblical-era foods. Our day concludes with a cultural stop at a carpet weaving demonstration and free time to explore the port town of Kusadasi before returning to the ship.

Day 10: Santorini

Today we arrive in Santorini, one of Greece’s most photographed islands. Excursion Not Included: This is a day at leisure to soak in the beauty of Santorini at your own pace! Due to the nature of the port, we’ll arrive by tender boat and transfer ashore. From there, guests may ascend the cliffside to Fira via cable car or follow the snaking path by donkey—both available locally (not included). Once at the top, you’ll have the freedom to explore the island’s iconic whitewashed villages, capture postcardworthy views of the Mediterranean, and admire the famous blue domes of Oia. Santorini is also known for its unique lava-rock jewelry, perfect for those looking to bring home a one-of-a-kind keepsake. No set agenda—today is about you!

Day 11: Rhodes

Today is a free day to indulge in the charming port of Rhodes, home to one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval towns. Excursion Not Included: You may choose to explore the Old City on your own, perhaps visiting the Palace of the Grand Master—originally constructed in the 7th century and beautifully restored in the 1930s during Italian rule. For the adventurous, optional cruise excursions are available to the Acropolis of Lindos, about an hour away, where you’ll find sweeping views of the Aegean and the whitewashed village below. Nearby lies the Bay of St. Paul, believed by many to be where Paul stopped briefly en route to Jerusalem during one of his missionary journeys. Whether you spend the day shopping, exploring, or relaxing by the sea, Rhodes offers the perfect blend of history, beauty, and freedom. Dinner & overnight on the ship.

Day 12: Mykonos

Today we arrive at the island of Mykonos, a charming destination best known for its iconic windmills, whitewashed alleyways, and seaside cafés. Excursion Not Included: While there’s no set plans for today, the cruise will provide shuttle bus service from the port into town, where you’ll have the entire day at leisure to explore at your own pace. Meander through boutique shops and art galleries, snap a photo in one of the island’s many picturesque corners, or simply relax by the sea. Mykonos is also a food lover’s paradise: try fresh grilled octopus or seafood saganaki for an authentic Mediterranean meal, or pick up a made-to-order crepe from one of the many friendly vendors if you’re craving something familiar. Whether you’re in search of culture, cuisine, or that perfect Instagram moment, this island has it all. Dinner & overnight on the ship.

Day 13: Disembark – Ancient Corinth & Athens Afternoon at Leisure, Transfer to Airport

This morning, we disembark in Athens and drive northwest to Ancient Corinth, where Paul met Aquila and Priscilla and spent eighteen months preaching the Gospel (Acts 18:1–18). Here we’ll explore the archaeological site, including the Forum, temples, and the famous Bema—where Paul stood trial before Gallio, accused by the Jews of Corinth (Acts 18:12–17). We’ll also stop to view the striking Corinth Canal—a picture-perfect spot where many choose to enjoy a light snack or coffee break before we head back to Athens. In the afternoon, we return to Athens. Depending on flight schedules, there may be time to browse the shops of the Plaka, visit the Acropolis Museum, or savor one final authentic gyro before transferring to the airport. Those continuing on an optional extension will continue their European adventure!

Day 14: Return to U.S.A.

We return home filled with powerful memories, spiritual insights, and a deeper connection to the New Testament world. This journey through Greece and Turkey brings the Scriptures to life in unforgettable ways.
