Day 4: Meteora,
Today we will see the world-famous Byzantine monasteries that are perched on summits of gray rock peaks of varied and beautiful shapes. Our morning starts with a guided tour of Athens, where we’ll visit the Acropolis, including the Propylea, Erechtheum, and Parthenon. We will then stand on Mars Hill (Acts 17:22-34), where Paul delivered his famous sermon on the “Unknown God.” The tour will continue with a visit to the Agora, where Paul preached to the Athenians (Acts 17:16-21). We will also see Constitution Square, the House of Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Temple of Zeus, the Old Olympic Stadium, and Athens’ Neoclassical Buildings. In the afternoon, we will drive to the port of Lavrion to embark on the Celestyal Journey, our floating hotel for the next 7 nights.
In the morning, we arrive in Thessaloniki, where we visit the White Tower and the House of Jason, where Paul stayed (Acts 17:5-9). We also see the Agora, where Paul preached until he had to flee the city. Afterward, we return to the ship for dinner and overnight.
Day
Today, we arrive in Kusadasi, Turkey, and embark on a tour of Ephesus, one of the Seven Churches of Revelation (Revelation 2:1-7). We’ll walk the marble-paved streets, see the Fountain of Trajan, the Library of Celsus, and the Great Theatre. We’ll also visit the House of the Virgin Mary and, if time permits, the Basilica of St. John. The day ends with a visit to Miletus, where Paul preached to the Ephesian elders (Acts 20:17-38) before returning to the ship for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Crete to Heraklion
This morning, we arrive in Crete and make our way

to the city of Heraklion. A short drive takes us to the Knossos excavations, where we’ll explore the ancient Minoan civilization and the mythological site of the Minotaur’s labyrinth. We’ll also reflect on Paul’s instructions to Titus in Crete (Titus 1:5) before returning to the ship for dinner and overnight.
The morning will find us in Santorini, considered one of the most spectacular of the Greek Islands. We have the option to ascend the city via cable car or donkey, exploring the island at our leisure. Santorini’s stunning white buildings with blue domes, along with its connection to the mythological city of Atlantis, will be highlights of our visit. We return to the ship for dinner and overnight.
We arrive in Mykonos, known as the “Island of Winds.” Here, we’ll have the freedom to stroll through the maze of white-washed buildings, explore local shops, and enjoy the island’s culinary delights. We will return to the ship for dinner and overnight.
Our journey takes us to Milos, known for its unique beaches and early Christian catacombs. We’ll explore the Catacombs of Milos, an important Christian monument dating back to the 1st century, and consider the possibility that Paul may have shipwrecked here on his way to Crete (Acts 27:27). The day ends as we return to the ship for our final dinner and overnight as we sail back to Athens.
Disembarking in Lavrion, we travel to Ancient Corinth, where we’ll visit the Archaeological Museum, the Forum, the Temples, and the Bema, where Paul stood before Gallio (Acts 18:12-17). The afternoon is ours to explore Athens on our own before enjoying a Farewell Dinner and overnight stay in Athens.
In the morning, we transfer to Athens Airport for our return flight to the U.S.A., reflecting on the journey and the new insights we’ve gained into Paul’s life and teachings.
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure through Greece and Turkey as we follow the footsteps of Paul and bring the stories of the New Testament to life! From the moment we take off, the excitement builds as we arrive in vibrant Athens, stroll through the charming Plaka district, and stand in awe atop the Acropolis. For the adventurous, optional cruise excursions are available to the Acropolis of Lindos, about an hour away, where you’ll find sweeping views of the Aegean and the whitewashed village below. Nearby lies the Bay of St. Paul, believed by many to be where Paul stopped briefly en route to Jerusalem during one of his missionary journeys. Whether you spend the day shopping, exploring, or relaxing by the sea, Rhodes offers the perfect blend of history, beauty, and freedom. Dinner & overnight on the ship.
12 – Wednesday, September 16: Mykonos
Today we arrive at the island of Mykonos, a charming destination best known for its iconic windmills, whitewashed alleyways, and seaside cafés. Excursion Not Included: While there’s no set plans for today, the cruise will provide shuttle bus service from the port into town, where you’ll have the entire day at leisure to explore at your own pace. Meander through boutique shops and art galleries, snap a photo in one of the island’s many picturesque corners, or simply relax by the sea. Mykonos is also a food lover’s paradise: try fresh grilled octopus or seafood saganaki for an authentic Mediterranean meal, or pick up a made-to-order crepe from one of the many friendly vendors if you’re craving something familiar. Whether you’re in search of culture, cuisine, or that perfect Instagram moment, this island has it all. Dinner & overnight on the ship.
Day 13 – Thursday, September 17: Disembark – Ancient Corinth & Athens Afternoon at Leisure, Transfer to Airport
This morning, we disembark in Athens and drive northwest to Ancient Corinth, where Paul met Aquila and Priscilla and spent eighteen months preaching the Gospel (Acts 18:1–18). Here we’ll explore the archaeological site, including the Forum, temples, and the famous Bema—where Paul stood trial before Gallio, accused by the Jews of Corinth (Acts 18:12–17). We’ll also stop to view the striking Corinth Canal—a picture-perfect spot where many choose to enjoy a light snack or coffee break before we head back to Athens. In the afternoon, we return to Athens. Depending on flight schedules, there may be time to browse the shops of the Plaka, visit the Acropolis Museum, or savor one final authentic gyro before transferring to the airport. Those continuing on an optional extension will continue their European adventure!
Day 14 – Friday, September 18: Return to U.S.A.
We return home filled with powerful memories, spiritual insights, and a deeper connection to the New Testament world. This journey through Greece and Turkey brings the Scriptures to life in unforgettable ways.
While we do our best to ensure that all items listed in your itinerary are included, there are times when conditions beyond our control may affect your program or itinerary, including but not limited to air carrier changes, delays, weather, political climate, time constraints, or changes made by your tour leader and tour guide.
Visit iconic sites like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and explore the Grand Bazaar, but always with an eye toward the spiritual legacy left here. In Cappadocia, we’ll stand in places where early Christians found refuge, worshiped in cave churches, and boldly lived out their faith in the face of persecution.
As we journey on, Scripture comes to life. In Tarsus, we’ll remember Paul’s beginnings; in Antioch, where believers were first called Christians, we’ll walk where he ministered with Barnabas. We’ll explore cities Paul visited
on his missionary journeys—Iconium, Lystra, and Pisidian Antioch—where he preached boldly and performed miracles. In Laodicea, Sardis, and Philadelphia, we’ll reflect on Christ’s messages to the early churches from Revelation. Finally, we’ll walk the ancient streets of Ephesus, where Paul taught for years, and visit Miletus, where he gave his heartfelt farewell to the elders. This sacred journey through the heart of biblical Asia Minor will deepen our understanding of Scripture and renew our faith.
