Growing up, we noticed a lack of representation of Black woman in media. With us both being Ethiopian-American, we wanted to build a brand that bridged that gap in the beauty industry and embraced our culture. Konjo is about more than just beauty products and outfit breakdowns; it's about fostering a community where Black women feel seen, heard, and valued.

Beauty is not one-size-fits-all, and together we hope to redefine beauty standards and inspire a new generation of Black women to embrace themselves in their own unique light. Thank you for joining us on this journey of our first issue!

With lots of love, Debora and Tsion
