Italtrans è trasporto merce e logistica. Due grandi e complessi servizi che, nel corso di oltre 35 anni di attività, sono stati perfezionati per offrire ai clienti il massimo dell’efficienza, flessibilità e possibilità di customizzazione. Grazie all’utilizzo di tecnologie innovative, nel pieno rispetto delle normative vigenti, è in grado di gestire tutta la catena distributiva di qualsiasi categoria merceologica.

Negli ultimi anni Italtrans si è specializzata nel trasporto di merci alimentari a temperatura controllata, vero e proprio fiore all’occhiello dell’azienda: secco, fresco (0 °C / +18 °C) e surgelato (-25 °C). Grazie all’acquisizione della flotta Mazzocco per le consegne ultimo miglio, Italtrans è in grado inoltre di effettuare piccole consegne a temperatura controllata anche in centro città, su tutto il territorio nazionale. Potendo contare su infrastrutture d’eccellenza, sistemi di gestione funzionali e risorse umane specializzate, è giunta alla vetta del proprio settore conquistando una posizione di leadership nella piena fiducia dei propri clienti, che la scelgono quotidianamente come operatore logistico e business partner per grandi e piccoli trasporti.

Thanks to the use of innovative technologies, in full compliance with current regulations, we are able to manage the entire distribution chain of any product category at any temperature level: dry, fresh (0 °C / +18 °C) and frozen (-25 °C).

UNA STORIA SEMPRE IN EVOLUZIONE / AN EVER-EVOLVING STORY Italtrans nasce nel 1985 come azienda di trasporti.

Nel 2000 inizia l'attività di logistica alimentare a temperatura ambiente, seguita pochi anni più tardi dal settore del fresco e dei surgelati. Nel 2005 si colloca all'interno della neonata BB Holding S.p.A. a cui fanno capo altre società di cui Italtrans si avvale per diversi servizi, dalla locazione immobiliare, agli impianti fotovoltaici per alimentare le sedi, fino all'acquisto e manutenzione della flotta e attività di natura amministrativa: un gruppo coeso, per offrire ai clienti di Italtrans un elevato standard di servizio. Alla tecnologia per il trasporto del freddo si affiancano nel 2014 soluzioni per incrementare l’efficienza aziendale e la sostenibilità ambientale, come il Progetto Diciotto con rimorchi da 37 plts.

Dal 2018, con l’acquisizione di Mazzocco, Italtrans è in grado di effettuare piccole consegne anche in centro città. Oggi mette a disposizione dei propri clienti una flotta che sfiora il migliaio di mezzi per il trasporto primario e oltre 600 veicoli per quello secondario con sinergie su tutto il territorio nazionale, e una capacità logistica di 985.000 m2, che comprende la recente inaugurazione dell’avveniristico centro logistico di Calcio (BG), con magazzino automatico. Nel 2020 viene inaugurato un altro polo logistico d’eccellenza, quello di Covo (BG) con una superficie di 85.000 m2.

Italtrans was founded in 1985 as a transport company. In 2000, the company began operating as a food logistics company at room temperature, followed a few years later by the fresh and frozen food sector. In 2005 it is part of the newly established BB Holding S.p.A., where Italtrans makes use of a group of other companies for various services, from real estate leasing, to photovoltaic systems to power the logistic centers, up to the purchase and maintenance of its fleet and administrative activities: a cohesive group, to offer Italtrans' customers a high standard of service.

In 2014, cold transport technology is complemented by solutions to increase business efficiency and environmental sustainability, such as Diciotto Project with 37-plt trailers.

With the acquisition of Mazzocco in 2018, Italtrans has been able to make small deliveries even in the city center. Today it offers its customers a fleet of more than a thousand vehicles for primary and secondary transport with synergies throughout the national territory, and a logistics capacity of 985,000 m2, which includes the recent inauguration of the futuristic logistic center of Calcio (BG), with its automatic warehouse. In 2020 another logistic hub of excellence was inaugurated in Covo (BG), with an area of 85,000 ​​ m 2.

Molti sono entrati in azienda quando non avevano ancora terminato gli studi e sono cresciuti sui banchi della nostra formazione. Tutti ci teniamo costantemente aggiornati per rimanere al passo e ciascuno contribuisce concretamente a rendere l’ambiente di lavoro il più sereno e collaborativo possibile, facendo squadra l’uno al fianco dell’altro e trasmettendo ai più giovani la preziosa esperienza del personale più senior. Solo insieme possiamo fare la differenza ogni giorno, qualunque sia la prossima sfida che ci aspetta.

PROSEGUE IL VIAGGIO VERSO LA SOSTENIBILITÀ AMBIENTALE / THE JOURNEY TOWARDS ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY CONTINUES

Sui tetti dei nostri poli logistici gli impianti fotovoltaici catturano i raggi solari, per restituire energia pulita utile al fabbisogno dell’azienda.

Accanto a essi abbiamo realizzato dei bacini artificiali per l’acqua piovana, da cui ricaviamo risorse idriche utili per mantenere verde l’area in cui sono posizionati i nostri magazzini. Al loro interno gli ambienti sono coibentati per evitare dispersioni di calore durante l’inverno e di fresco durante l’estate, garantendo una temperatura costante e ideale per lavorare tutto l’anno in ambienti chiusi.

Non è tutto. L'impianto di luci è a LED per abbattere gli sprechi energetici, mentre i muletti per il trasporto merce montano batterie al litio che, grazie a pochi minuti di ricarica, permettono un’operatività di oltre 30 ore e devono essere sostituite meno frequentemente rispetto a quelle standard.

Ma la sostenibilità in Italtrans corre anche su strada. Grazie infatti a una capienza di 37 europallet, i mezzi del Progetto Diciotto massimizzano i viaggi per un’efficacia operativa senza pari. Blu fuori e verdi dentro sono invece i veicoli LNG con alimentazione a metano liquido che riducono del 20% le emissioni di CO2 rispetto ai mezzi diesel.

On the roofs of our logistics centers, photovoltaic systems capture the sun's rays, in order to return clean energy useful to the company's needs.

Next to them, we have created artificial basins for rainwater, from which we derive water resources to maintain the green oasis in which our warehouses are located. Inside, the rooms are insulated to prevent heat loss during the winter and to maintain coolness during the summer, ensuring a steady and ideal temperature to work indoors all year long.

In addition, the lighting system is LED to reduce energy waste, while the forklifts for transporting goods are equipped with lithium batteries that, thanks to a few minutes of charging, allow an operation of more than 30 hours and need to be replaced less often than the standard ones.

However, Italtrans' ecology does not stop at the logistics centers; it also runs on the road. In fact, thanks to a capacity of 37 euro-pallets, the Diciotto Project vehicles maximize travel for unmatched operational efficiency. Blue outside and green inside, LNG vehicles powered by liquid methane reduce CO2 emissions by 20% compared to diesel vehicles.

Ogni giorno, sulle strade di tutta Italia, quasi un migliaio di camion si mettono in viaggio per portare a destinazione merci, beni e prodotti.

Mezzi e autisti sono costantemente monitorati dalla nostra centrale operativa, che li direziona sui percorsi più veloci e brevi. Puntuali negli orari e precisi nell’indirizzo di consegna, non c’è categoria merceologica che i nostri mezzi specializzati non possano trasportare.

In particolare, ci siamo dotati di veicoli specifici per mantenere intatta la catena del freddo, dal primo all’ultimo chilometro. Refrigerati, isotermici, multitemperatura o centinati, i nostri truck sono il mezzo giusto per qualunque tipo di consegna.

Inoltre, il nostro lato ecologico ci guida in un futuro verso le zero emissioni. Non solo perché oggi il 68% della nostra flotta è EURO 6, ma anche perché ci stiamo avvalendo sempre più dell’alimentazione LNG, che riduce del 20% le emissioni di CO2, oltre che di veicoli elettrici.

Every day, on the roads of Italy, nearly a thousand trucks travel to bring goods and products to their destination. Vehicles and drivers are constantly monitored by our operations center, which directs them to the fastest and shortest routes. Punctual and accurate in the delivery address, there is no category of goods that our specialized vehicles cannot carry.

We have specific vehicles to keep the cold chain intact, from the first to the last kilometer.

Refrigerated, isothermal, multitemperature or curtainsider, our trucks are the right choice for any type of delivery. In addition, our ecological approach guides us towards zero emissions in the future.

Not only because today 68% of our fleet is EURO 6, but also because we are increasingly using the LNG power supply, which reduces CO2 emissions by 20%, and in the future we will also open up to electricity.

Quando uno dei nostri mezzi si mette in viaggio, non lo lasciamo mai solo. Grazie a sistemi di tracking satellitari, teniamo monitorati veicoli e semirimorchi lungo tutto il tragitto, segnalando all’autista cambi di rotta per ottimizzare i tempi di consegna o supportarlo in caso di criticità. Termoregistratori integrati comunicano la temperatura della merce presente sul mezzo, cosicché possiamo verificare che la catena del freddo non venga mai interrotta. Il tracking non solo ci permette di controllare merce, mezzo e strada, ma rassicura anche il cliente, che a distanza può accertarsi dell’incolumità del proprio ordine e della puntualità della consegna. Con l’obiettivo di essere ancora più precisi ed efficienti, una sola APP è in grado di tenere traccia non solo del percorso del veicolo, ma anche di segnalazioni di anomalie durante le operazioni di carico o scarico, scansionare i documenti di trasporto e archiviarli digitalmente, far firmare al cliente la bolla di consegna direttamente dallo smartphone.

When one of our vehicles sets out on the road, we never leave it alone. Thanks to satellite tracking systems, we keep vehicles and semi-trailers monitored throughout the journey, informing the driver of changes of route to optimize delivery times or support him in case of criticality.

Integrated temperature recorders communicate the temperature of the goods on the vehicle, so that we can verify that the cold chain is never interrupted.

Tracking not only allows us to check goods, vehicles and roads, but also reassures the customers, who at a distance can ensure the safety of their order and the on-time delivery. With the aim of being even more precise and efficient, a single APP is able to keep track not only of the vehicle's route, but also of reports of anomalies during loading or unloading operations, scan transport documents and archive them digitally, and have the delivery note signed by the customer directly from the smartphone.

Per supportare ulteriormente la nostra rete di distribuzione sul territorio nazionale abbiamo sviluppato un capillare servizio di trasporto secondario, grazie alla flotta dell’impresa Mazzocco rilevata nel 2018, società parmense presente sul mercato da oltre vent’anni e specializzata nel trasporto a temperatura controllata di prodotti alimentari freschi.

L’acquisizione dell’azienda ci ha permesso di compiere un passo in avanti fondamentale per completare e rafforzare la nostra filiera. Il trasporto ultimo miglio, infatti, è diventato un servizio sempre più richiesto dai nostri clienti. I veicoli del trasporto secondario sono in grado di affrontare ogni tipologia di carico e distribuzione, arrivando nei centri urbani e garantendo la qualità del servizio che contraddistingue Italtrans nella consegna di prodotti freschi fino all’ultima destinazione.

To further support our distribution network throughout the country, we have developed a widespread secondary transport service, thanks to the Mazzocco company fleet acquired in 2018, which specializes in the temperature-controlled transport of fresh food products. The acquisition of the company allowed us to take a fundamental step forward to complete and strengthen our supply chain. Last mile transport has in fact become a service increasingly requested by our customers.

The secondary transport vehicles are able to deal with any type of load and distribution, arriving in urban centers and guaranteeing the quality of the service that distinguishes Italtrans in the delivery of fresh products to the last destination.

Per offrire un servizio efficiente tutto l’anno, i nostri veicoli sono sottoposti con regolarità a revisioni programmate e a manutenzioni ordinarie, che limitano i rischi di imprevisti e garantiscono ai nostri autisti una guida sicura. Per ridurre al minimo i tempi di “fermo mezzo”, negli anni ci siamo attrezzati con un’officina e una sezione ricambi interne, sotto il nome di G.B. Trasporti, società controllata di Italtrans. Qualora un veicolo rimanesse in panne per cause di forza maggiore, la nostra assistenza mobile recupera e sostituisce i mezzi, cosicché il trasporto merci possa proseguire verso destinazione. Il bianco e il blu di Italtrans si distinguono su ogni strada, non solo per la presenza capillare dei mezzi, ma anche per il loro aspetto estetico. Di ritorno dalla consegna, motrici e rimorchi passano dagli autolavaggi interni all’azienda. Qui vengono puliti rigorosamente, perché il mezzo sia rispettoso delle più severe norme igieniche e perché l’aspetto esteriore sia impeccabile.

In order to offer an efficient service all year round, our vehicles regularly undergo scheduled inspections and routine maintenance, limiting the risk of unforeseen events and helping our drivers to drive safely. To reduce "downtime" to a minimum, we have built up a workshop and an internal spare parts section over the years, a company named G.B. Trasporti and controlled by Italtrans.

If a vehicle breaks down, our mobile assistance service picks up and replaces the vehicles, so that the goods can be transported to their destination.

The white and blue of Italtrans stand out on every road, not only for the widespread presence of trucks, but also for their look. When returning from delivery, trucks and trailers go through the company's internal car washes. They are rigorously cleaned here, so that the vehicle complies with the strictest hygiene standards and its exterior is impeccable.

Un altro motore delle interfacce si occupa invece di tutta la schedulazione dei processi e delle tempistiche di interscambio e movimentazione dei flussi in entrata e in uscita, oltre all’invio dei report e delle email. Questa organizzazione permette non solo l’ottimizzazione delle risorse a disposizione, ma anche la “sincronizzazione” con i processi e i sistemi esterni.

Accanto a queste soluzioni tecnologiche, ne esiste una che ha il compito specifico di monitorare in tempo reale tutti gli eventi delle interfacce. Essa permette di identificare immediatamente eventuali anomalie e di affrontate in tempo reale qualsiasi problematica, risultando di grande supporto per l’help desk interno e, quindi, anche per il cliente.

L’ORDINE È ALL’ORDINE DEL GIORNO / THE ORDER IS ON THE AGENDA

All’interno dei nostri poli logistici, esiste un luogo dove l’automazione regna sovrana. Si tratta dei magazzini automatici, dove la presenza dell’uomo si ritrae per lasciare spazio all’intelligenza meccatronica.

Il polo logistico di Calcio (BG), terminato nel 2018, è il regno dell’automazione. Con i suoi 17.000 mq di magazzino automatico, grazie ai più avveniristici sistemi tecnologici qui è possibile gestire con largo anticipo le richieste del mercato, efficientare i tempi di preparazione degli ordini e aumentare la superficie di stoccaggio.

L’automazione nei poli logistici, in particolare a Calcio, consente inoltre a Italtrans di ridurre l’impiego di manodopera dove questa è più difficile da reperire, eliminare la gestione di colli troppo pesanti agli operatori e, in ultima istanza, ridurre il rischio di errore umano.

The logistics hub of Calcio (BG), completed in 2018, is the realm of automation. Within 17,000 square meters of automatic warehouse, thanks to the most futuristic technological systems, it is possible to manage market requests well in advance, make picking times and the storage area more efficient.

The application of automation in logistics hubs, in particular in Calcio, also allows Italtrans to reduce the use of human handling where it is more difficult to find, eliminate the management of packages that are too heavy for operators and, ultimately, reduce the risk of human error.

HIGH-BAY PORTA PALLET / HIGH-BAY INTENSIVE WAREHOUSE

Nel magazzino high-bay porta-pallet ultimato nel 2018, i pallet provenienti dagli stabilimenti di produzione sono ricevuti e avviati all’interno dell’impianto impiegando 13 shuttle. Attraverso 4 baie in entrata, 6 in uscita e 12 traslo multi-altezza, la merce viene stoccata e prelevata in tempi brevi e col massimo dell’efficienza. Il software gestionale decide dove collocare la merce, secondo dimensione, peso e volume, fino al richiamo del bancale.

In our high-bay intensive warehouse completed in 2018, pallets from the clients' production plants are received and sent into the automated stocking area using 13 shuttles. Through 4 inlets, 6 outlets and 12 multi-height translocations, the goods are stored and picked up quickly and with maximum efficiency.

The management software decides where to place the goods, according to size, weight and volume, until the pallet is recalled.

Sempre all’interno dello stesso deposito, nel 2019 abbiamo installato un impianto con miniload, per la gestione a collo di articoli a bassa rotazione.

In 2.300 m2 sono stoccabili fino a 4.000 referenze, immagazzinate libere o in cassetta. Al momento del prelievo, il software rintraccia la merce e, tramite nastri trasportatori, la consegna all’addetto che provvede al suo imballaggio, secondo uno schema fornito dal programma stesso.

Within the same warehouse, in 2019 we installed a miniload system, for the parcel management of low-rotation items.

In 2,300 m2, up to 4,000 references can be stored, free or in a crate. At the time of picking, the software tracks the goods and, via conveyor belts, delivers them to the man who takes care of their packaging, according to a scheme provided by the same software.

Inaugurato a novembre 2021, il nuovo sistema gestisce 200 pallet al giorno per le referenze beverage alto rotanti. Si compone di 9 robot e gestisce fino a 45 pallet picking contemporaneamente. Le operazioni di costruzione del pallet vengono regolate da un algoritmo “best fitting” per individuare la sequenza ottimale dei colli.

Nell’area sono presenti solo veicoli a guida laser automatica: le postazioni vicino alle slitte dei robot vengono alimentate da 4 LGV, mentre 16 shark si occupano di movimentare da una postazione all’altra i pallet picking.

Inaugurated in November 2021, the new technology manages 200 pallets per day for high-rotation beverage items. It consists of 9 robots and manages up to 45 picking pallets at the same time. Pallet construction operations are regulated by a "best fitting" algorithm to identify the optimal sequence of packages.

In the area there are only automatic laser guided vehicles: the stations near the robot slides are powered by 4 LGVs, while 16 sharks handle the picking pallets from one location to another.

Il freddo ci dà sempre grandi soddisfazioni.

Dal 2004 abbiamo iniziato la nostra attività di conservazione dei surgelati e da allora abbiamo investito in soluzioni che garantiscono una catena del freddo (-25 °C) in ogni momento dello stoccaggio. Le nostre celle frigorifere hanno una capacità di 35.000 m2 e sono costruite secondo i criteri di conservazione più innovativi. In fase di movimentazione della merce, abbiamo realizzato bocche di carico con anticella a temperatura per consentire l’apertura e la chiusura delle porte dei mezzi, evitando shock termici anche nei periodi estivi dove il caldo raggiunge alte temperature esterne.

Nel nostro deposito di Covo (BG) abbiamo ultimato nel 2021 un nuovo comparto surgelato di 12.000 mq, gestito in logica 4.0 e dedicato allo stoccaggio delle referenze congelate all’interno di quattro celle, per ottenere il massimo grado di flessibilità operativa e soddisfare in modo puntuale le esigenze dei clienti. Due celle da 9.000 posti pallet sono attrezzate inoltre con scaffalature compattabili per massimizzare lo spazio di stoccaggio dei prodotti e sono movimentate direttamente dal gestionale in funzione delle missioni. A fianco di questa tecnologia trovano posto delle scaffalature a gravità per gestire il picking a collo singolo da parte dell'operatore.

Since 2004, we have been storing frozen foods and since then we have invested in solutions that guarantee a cold chain (-25 °C) at all times during storage. Our cold rooms have a capacity of 35,000 m2 and are built according to the most innovative storage criteria. During the handling of the goods, we have created inlets with temperature cell to allow the opening and closing of the doors of the vehicles. This prevents thermal shocks even in summer when outside the heat reaches high temperatures.

In our warehouse in Covo (BG) we completed in 2021 a new frozen compartment of 12,000 square meters, managed with 4.0 logic and dedicated to the storage of frozen items in four cells, to obtain the maximum degree of operational flexibility and punctually satisfy our customers' needs.

Two cells with 9,000 pallet spaces are equipped with compactable shelving to maximize the storage space of the products. Their movement is directly handled by the warehouse management software according to the picking plans. Alongside this technology, there are gravity shelvings to manage single-parcel picking by an operator.

Grazie a investimenti in know-how del personale e tecnologia made in Italy, abbiamo attrezzato un’area apposita, dove assembliamo i prodotti stoccati nei nostri poli logistici all’interno degli espositori fornitici dai clienti, secondo le loro istruzioni. Una volta allestiti, gli espositori vengono poi imballati e sono pronti per essere spediti in tutti i punti vendita della rete commerciale, sia per la distribuzione di tutti i giorni, sia per offerte speciali e promozioni stagionali. Il servizio di copacking all’interno dei depositi di Italtrans ottimizza il time-to-market. Non solo permette ai clienti di risparmiare tempo, risorse umane e costi aggiuntivi, ma garantisce anche che il prodotto, di qualunque genere esso sia, venga trattato con la massima cura nel rispetto di tutto il processo wall-to-wall: dallo scaffale nei nostri magazzini, all’espositore assemblato, fino ai centri di distribuzione e al punto vendita finale.

Once set up, the displays are then packaged and ready to be shipped to all points of sale in the sales network, both for everyday distribution and for special offers and seasonal promotions. The co-packing service inside the Italtrans warehouses optimizes the time-tomarket. It saves customers time, human resources and additional costs, but it also guarantees that the product, regardless of its type, is handled with the utmost care and respect for the entire wall-to-wall process: from the shelf in our warehouses, to the assembled display, to the distribution centers and the final point of sale.
