A short guide for every stranger joining the Movement to develop knowledge of the organization and personal communication skills talking to strangers.
I TALK TO STRANGERS®, a multicultural Non-Profit and Global Movement I TALK TO STRANGERS® Foundation, Inc. or ITTS™ Movement is a global social movement and American non-governmental organization that unites various ethnics, racial, political, and socioeconomic groups through conversation.
Through its’ mission, ITTS™ Movement aims to become a global facilitator of conversations that connect diverse minds and brings peace and understanding among diverse cultures and backgrounds.
The ITTS™ Movement unites various ethnic, racial, political, and socio-economic groups through programs and partnerships with organizations that promote enriching dialogue, and challenges individuals to create genuine relationships through meeting new people.
I TALK TO STRANGERS® Foundation, Inc. bridges people-to-people relations and foster comprehensive bi-lateral agreements that focus on the key areas of; youth empowerment, social entrepreneurship, medical & aerospace technology, environmental protection, education, and civic participation.
ITTS Mission To Connect The World Through A Conversation The mission of the I TALK TO STRANGERS Foundation, Inc. is to support the vision of the movement of creating peace worldwide by creating programs and partnerships with organizations that promote enriching dialogue and positive collaborations among strangers.
These conversations are geared to give individuals increased opportunities, experiences, and understandings about the world and the people around them.
Meeting new people increases personal and professional opportunities, experiences, and lessons learned. Talking to strangers encourages and challenges individuals to create genuine relationships and meet new friends.
In 2012 the grass-root movement was born connecting strangers worldwide I TALK TO STRANGERS® (ITTS) founded on February 12, 2012 by Robbie Stokes Jr., a young graduate of The Florida State University. It is a social movement that brings the world together through conversation with strangers. Poured in “never talk to strangers” since childhood, in 2012 Stokes had an idea to start conversations with people he did not know, so he quit his job on Capitol Hill to travel the globe and document what would happen if he simply talked to strangers. "I wanted to have some impact to change the world but lately I've been hearing that the true impact is connecting the world, " says Stokes. "I sold everything. All of my possessions fit into two suitcases. Legitimately four pairs of jeans, five shirts, four pairs of socks, a pair of tennis shoes, and a dream.”
Robbie travelled the world meeting and connecting with strangers along the way. During his first journey he visited Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Israel, Greece, Italy, Spain, France, England and Egypt among others.
The first organized event was Peace Jam in 2012 in Brevard County, FL in the memory of the youth victims of violence in the local community.

4C’s Are The Key Areas of Growth For Diversity and Communication Using the latest technology, I TALK TO STRANGERSŽ Foundation, Inc. focuses on the four key areas of community growth, development, and intercultural communication among diverse groups of people: Campus - Community Corporate - Culture (4Cs). CULTURE: Brings people together from diverse backgrounds and cultures to educate one another, promote peace and improve relations.
CAMPUS: Encourages positive relationships and social interaction among students and student leaders, enhancing campus life and social engagement.
COMMUNITY: Combines community, government and corporate groups to improve collaboration.
CORPORATE: Working with companies to enhance their corporate culture through increased communication among employees and with customers.
