PEOPLE MAKE PLACES
Social media
Companies and employees increasingly use social media to share information, participate in discussions and build networks concerning joint interests.
ISS is no exception. We create involvement via social media by telling the public about our services and what it means to work for ISS. In the Netherlands, ISS maintains various social media channels:
facebook.com/issfacilityservices
twitter.com/ISS_Netherlands
linkedin.com/company/ iss-facility-services-nederland
youtube.com/channel/
UCJ_PI0WIf00ws_KgLsy-3ug
ISS Nederland also has its own Yammer channel: : web.yammer.com/main/groups/ eyJfdHlwZSI6Ikdyb3VwIiwiaWQiOiI0NzQzNjYwIn0/all. Unlike the aforementioned social media channels, Yammer is aimed only toward internal use within ISS.
ISS Brand Portal
All of the guidelines concerning our corporate identity can be found on the ISS Brand Portal. Here, you can also find photos, images and illustrations for use in presentations: brand.issworld.com.
A few guidelines
Perhaps you yourself are active on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or one of the many other platforms. ISS encourages sharing articles and participating in discussions, but please be aware that the ISS core values, the ISS Code of Conduct and the ISS Social Media Policy apply when you as an ISS employee are active on social media. A few important guidelines are: • Think twice before you post or like an item.
Be respectful towards others and be aware of the impact that a post can have. After all, everything is public and searchable via search engines. Once it’s online, it’s online forever.
