We would like to keep our residents informed on upcoming information and projects, including some important security updates.

Homeowner Reminders

HURRICANE READINESS

Hurricane season runs June 1st through November 30th, and we encourage all of our residents who may be leaving for the summer to be sure to have a plan in place to secure loose items from around your home.

You should also have your arborist inspect the trees that surround your home for risk limbs, especially after last year’s two named storms that produced downed trees and branches. Those storms also compromised many branches that may not be noticeable, so please follow up with your arbor care service.

STORM DRAINS

The ICA has engaged Cloud Nine in the cleaning of storm drains around the community, with an emphasis on areas that are prone to flooding.

Residents should also have their gutters and storm drainage checked as well.

AFTER A STORM

As a homeowner, you are responsible for having storm debris and down trees removed from your property through your landscape and arbor care service. Post-storm, it is the Home Services team’s first priority to ensure that roadways are open, navigable, and that debris is clear from common areas of the ICA.

If you have not done so already, please reach out to your landscape service to make sure they are prepared to assist you with post storm clean up and debris removal. Storm debris must be removed by your landscape or arbor care service, off site.

It should also be noted that many private companies last year attempted to dump storm debris in various areas of the community, which is unacceptable. Any landscape service found dumping debris without permission from the ICA can be fined up to $500.00 and/or subject to permanent removal from the community.

CONTRACTOR-VENDOR ACCESS PROGRAM

As with most gated communities, the security gates require that a driver of a vehicle has a valid driver’s license as part of our access control procedures, prior to entry being granted.

If a vendor, contractor, or commercial service provider arrives with multiple passengers in a vehicle, each person will be required to show a valid photo government I.D. or they will not be allowed entry.

Vendors, contractors, and commercial service vendors who enter the community more than three times in a month must register with the ICA, or access will be denied for subsequent entries until that process is completed.

VISITOR/GUEST ACCESS

All drivers operating a motor vehicle on Isleworth community roadways must have a valid driver’s license.

As part of our gate access policies, visitors and guests of residents must present a valid driver’s license if they are operating a motor vehicle before they will be granted entry. Rideshare passengers who are guests of residents must also have a valid form of photo government identification that is to be presented to the officer. This policy does not include minor children.

Each entry requires a confirmation in which the gate officer will capture an image of the visitor’s or guest’s identification. This ensures that the gate has a record of who was allowed entry to your property.

ROOF INSPECTIONS

Letters went out in April and we appreciate the response we have received from many of our residents. Follow up letters have also gone out for those that have not taken action as of yet.

The cleaning of your roof is not just about the appearance of your home but the protection of your roof investment and the appearance of the community to support the maintaining of the community value.

Community Reminders

FRONT GATE SECURITY CAMERAS

All security gates have now installed two new types of cameras.

The first is a high-definition audio recording camera to better support the security team in their daily task of ensuring that those entering the community are expected, approved, and have proper identification to ensure access control security is at its highest.

The second type of cameras installed are license plate recognition cameras to also help us better track entries, exits, cut throughs, as well as entry prevention by those not allowed in the community. These will be online and in use within the next fourty-five days.

FRONT GATE LANDSCAPE UPDATE

The landscape lighting and electrical systems have been replaced. We have removed some older hedges from the gate area and replaced them with fresh plantings. This work will continue throughout the summer.

ROADWAY REPAIRS & PLANNING

The ICA continues to monitor and repair areas of the roadway that still need patch work.

The ICA has also revisited and updated the roadway life span survey that was completed in 2019 as a guide for future roadway replacement or rejuvenation.

Security Updates

Dear Residents,

Your security and well-being remain our utmost priority, and as part of our ongoing efforts to keep you informed and help you stay safe, we bring you the latest updates on security measures, tips, and reminders.

As we approach the summer months many of you will be departing the community and enjoying wonderful vacations. Schools across Florida have closed for the summer, and historically this is the time most residential burglaries will take place. The security team can conduct exterior house checks in your absence on all registered homes and will alert you if we see anything wrong. You can enable house checks via the ABDI app or through Gateaccess.net.

Maintaining a safe community is a collective effort and your active participation plays a crucial role in ensuring security for all of Isleworth residents. “If you see something, say something” may sound old, but it is still a valuable tool that helps your neighbors and our team be even more effective.

SECURITY TIPS:

• To maintain a controlled environment, it is crucial that you register your guest via the approved methods/Gateaccess app, website, or voicemail system.

• Be vigilant in reporting suspicious activity. Your observations and reporting help keep this community safe.

• Keep your doors and windows secure (that includes your vehicles and the garage).

• Ensure your home alarm system is operational and active when you are not home.

• Ensure your home has functional cameras that alert you to motion on your property.

• Proper outdoor lighting plays a significant role in deterring criminal activity. Ensure that your outdoor lights are functional and maintained. Consider installing motion sensor lighting.

• Don’t overshare your travel plans on social media.

• When you are traveling make it appear as if your home is occupied with timed lighting.

• Ensure you place your valuables in a locked immovable safe and the contents are inventoried.

• Cybersecurity: Do not click on links that are not familiar to you.

AREA CRIME STATISTICS

From 1/1/2023 to 5/1/2023 Orange County Sheriff’s Office (within 2miles radius of Isleworth) has received three reports of residential burglaries and thirteen reports of vehicle burglaries and thefts. Isleworth in that same time period has received no reports of either.

Please keep in mind that gated communities are not immune to crime and Isleworth is no exception. *Historically these numbers rise during the summer months and we cant stress enough that our homeowners must be proactive in the protection of their homes.

TRAFFIC SAFETY

From 1/1/2023 to 5/1/2023 the Isleworth Security team initiated 263 traffic stops and issued 73 community citations. The speed radar poles located throughout Isleworth show that the average travel speed in the community is between 21-25 MPH with 94.7% of drivers traveling below 30mph.

Isleworth Security has always remains focused on roadway safety enforcement. What has stood out to our patrol officers is that far too many drivers are looking down at their phones while driving in the community. For everyone’s safety, we request that you please use your hands-free devices to eliminate this unsafe practice.
