Limitationofliabilityforpropertyofguest
3(1)Noinnkeeperisliabletomakegoodtoaguestlossoforinjurytogoodsorpropertybrought totheinn,exceptifthegoodsorpropertyhavebeen
(a)stolen,lostorinjuredthroughthewilfulact,defaultorneglectoftheinnkeeperorthe innkeeper’sservant,or
(b)depositedexpresslyforsafecustodywiththeinnkeeper,exceptthatincaseofthedeposit theinnkeepermayrequireasaconditionofliabilitythatthegoodsorpropertybedepositedin aboxorotherreceptacle,fastenedandsealedbythepersondepositingthegoodsorproperty.
(2)Ifthevehicleofaguesthasbeendeliveredtothecustodyoftheinnkeeperorthe innkeeper’sservantexpresslyforstorageorparkinginaplacespecificallyreservedand designatedbytheinnkeeperforthestoringorparkingofvehicles,theliabilityoftheinnkeeper isthatofabaileeforreward.

Offence—causingadisturbance
6(1)Inthissection,“disturbance”meansadisturbanceofthepeaceofanoccupantofaninnby fighting,screaming,shouting,singing,orotherwisecausingloudnoiseintheinn.
(2)Aninnkeeperoraninnkeeper’srepresentative,mustrequestthatapersonwhoiscausinga disturbance
(a)desist,and (b)ifthepersonfailstodesistoragaincausesadisturbance,leavetheinnimmediatelyunless theinnkeeperortheinnkeeper’srepresentativebelievesonreasonablegroundsthatthereisa riskofharmtotheinnkeeperortheinnkeeper’srepresentativebymakingtherequest.
(3)Ifaninnkeeperoraninnkeeper’srepresentativebelievesonreasonablegroundsthatthereisarisk ofharmtotheinnkeeperorinnkeeper’srepresentativebymakingtherequestundersubsection (2),theinnkeeperorinnkeeper’srepresentativemustrequestthatapeaceofficermakethe requestunderthatsubsection.
(4)Apersonwhofailstocomplywitharequestundersubsection(2)commitsanoffenceandisliable onconvictiontoafineofnotmorethan$2000.
(5)Aninnkeeperoraninnkeeper’srepresentativewhofailstomakearequestrequiredunder subsection(2)or(3),asapplicable,commitsanoffenceandisliableonconvictiontoafineofnot morethan$2000.
