Santa Marta has an excellent tourist infrastructure with modern hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues and convention centers that make it a complete tourist destination.

CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES

At your slip you will receive the visit of our Maritime Agent who will be your representative in the country and who will coordinate everything related to the immigration procedures and visits of the Colombian authorities, who will legalize your entry to the country.

The following information must be sent via mail, at the time of booking and you must have the supporting documents at hand at the moment of arrival: • List of Passengers and crew list with full names, ID number and nationality.

• All persons who are on the vessel must have current ID with unused pages for stamps and other immigration purposes.

• List of the last 10 ports of call, with dates.

• Vessel specifications • No member of the crew or passengers may disembark until authorization is received.

• Those arriving at the port out of office hours must raise a flag of the quarantine and report the following morning.

Clearance formalities vary greatly from country to country and change periodically.

Please make sure to review the customs and immigration for any port of entry that you are considering. The information here is to be used as a general guide and IGY Marinas is not responsible for any issues regarding entry.

PROCEDIMIENTOS DE ADUANAS E INMIGRACIÓN

En el muelle donde se encuentre su embarcación que recibirá la visita de nuestro agente marítimo que será su representante en el país y que se encargará de coordinar todo lo relacionado con los procedimientos de inmigración y visitas de las Autoridades colombianas, quien legalizará su entrada al país.

La siguiente información debe ser enviada a través de correo electrónico, en el momento de la reserva y debe tener los documentos a la mano en el momento de llegada: • Lista de pasajeros y tripulantes con nombres y apellidos, número de identificación y nacionalidad.

• Todas las personas que se encuentren a bordo del bote deben tener una identificación actual con las páginas no utilizadas para impresión y otros propósitos de inmigración.

• Lista de los últimos 10 puertos de escala, con fechas.

• Las especificaciones del bote.

Los trámites de liquidación varían mucho de un país a otro y cambian periódicamente.

Por favor, asegúrese de revisar las aduanas y la inmigración para cualquier puerto de entrada que esté considerando. La información aquí se debe utilizar como una guía general y IGY Marinas no es responsable de ningún problema relacionado con la entrada.

MARINA SANTA MARTA ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE PROCEDURES Marina Santa Marta is located in the bay of Santa Marta; it is a semi-closed natural bay, well protected from the winds and the heavy surf by the peninsula of Punta de Betin at 11º - 15’ north latitude – 74º - 13’ west longitude.

When arriving by boat please follow the following procedures: You must communicate with the control tower of Marina Santa Marta through the VHS channel 72, who will initially direct you to the Service Dock.

CHECKING OUT OF MARINA SANTA MARTA Our office staff is dedicated to making you departure from Marina Santa Marta something quick and easy. Please visit the Marina’s office the day of your departure in order to obtain the balance of your account, which must be paid before departure. Although this bill may be generated while you wait, it would be more efficient for you if you notify us in advance the time of your departure so the account can be prepared.

We accept payments with Credit Cards: American Express, Master Card and Visa for bill payment, same as cash and personal checks.

The Cathedral Basilica of Santa Marta, is considered one of the jewels of American architecture. It is the oldest of the churches in South America and is an important landmark of Christianity.

EL RODADERO BEACH

It is the favorite tourist place for visitors of Santa Marta. It is located ten minutes from the city around Gaira Bay, formed by a hotel and housing strip, which gathers cozy white sand beaches and a quiet sea ideal for water sports: sailing, underwater fishing, skiing and others.

LA CIUDAD PERDIDA

This region of Colombia represents a microcosm of the world itself. La catedral Basílica de Santa Marta, esta considerada como una de las Joyas de la arquitectura Americana. Es la más antigua de las iglesias en sur América y es un hito importante de la cristiandad.

EL RODADERO BEACH

Es el lugar turístico preferido por los visitantes de Santa Marta. Se encuentra a diez minutos de la ciudad alrededor de la Bahía Gaira, conformado por una franja hotelera y habitacional, que reúne acogedoras playas de arena blanca y un mar tranquilo ideal para la práctica de deportes acuáticos: navegación a vela, pesca submarina, esquí y otros.

LA CIUDAD PERDIDA

Esta región de Colombia representa un microcosmos del mundo mismo. Our brand new facilities include Technomarine docks, a fuel-dock, hot showers, sensor-activated bathrooms, a laundry room, a captain & crew lounge and a minimarket. A boatyard and several restaurants are brand new additions to the marina.
