W

e live in a fast paced, ever changing world. Life does not look the same now as it did 6-12 months ago, nor will it look the same in 6-12 months from now. The knowledge and life skills required in the past are needing an upgrade. Lifelong learning is no longer an option but a necessity for survival. Our brains grow like a muscle. The more we engage in learning whether it be from creating a new recipe, learning to dance or paint, or practicing the piano, the better and stronger it becomes. One of the best ways to learn is from experiences such as taking a course or trying a new activity. Another way to strengthen our brain muscle is by teaching the skill to someone else. Community Education is the perfect avenue to either be a participant or a teacher. In this catalog, you will find a wide array of learning opportunities for our very youngest learners to our senior population! We offer a range of courses to meet your interests and your comfort level of in-person or virtual.

welcome to lifelong learning Might there be something you would like to learn about or have never done before? After the course, I challenge you to practice the skill and then share what you have learned either privately or consider being an instructor. Transfer of learning can support innovation, knowledge and passion. Lastly, if you have a passion to learn new skills but are not seeing the opportunity, please reach out via 762-3310. Yours in Community,

Lynn Jenc
